ilifir, waves spike in, then shows the girl the lockpicks before retreating back outside to talk to the others in a terse whisper "id like to get her out now unless anyone thinks thats a bad idea, and possibly anyways" he says "and theres a dragon"
"A dragon?!", Valrieth practically squeaks in fear. She peers into the room past Ilifir and is relieved to see that the dragon is small and currently asleep. But how dangerous is such a small dragon? She says breathlessly, "Chucklehead didn't say anything about a dragon. Do you suppose it's just the one or does the hag have a whole pack of them?"
(Checking to see whether Val knows anything about dragons: Nature9)
Val is finally able calm down long enough to hear Ilifir's suggestion. She agrees, "Yes, we should get her away if we can. I'd say that Lerak should go with you in case the dragon wakes up, but if you do, Lerak, don't go far past the door. I'm worried that the light from your fireflies will wake up the dragon. Ilifir, if it wakes up, just...I guess just try to get back out here with the girl, and we can fend off the dragon."
Val will poke her head inside the room briefly just to make sure that Ilifir didn't miss any other dangers. Perception24 Then she casts guidance on Ilifir again, hoping that he's able to free the girl from her locks quickly. While looking again at her star map by the light of the fireflies circling Lerak, Val seems annoyed that she didn't see even a hint of a dragon in the stars.
Finally, when Ilifir goes back in the room, Val tries to find a spot in the rough tree trunk outside the door where she can hide, just in case the dragon wakes up and attacks. (Hiding: Stealth22)

This Mug immediately shared with me a transcendental tale of an Infinite Mug that anchors the Universe and keeps it from folding in on itself. I filed this report under "illogical nonsense" and asked why its sign is in Times New Roman font, when it is basic knowledge that Arial Black is a far superior font. I wondered: How did this mug even get past the assembly line with its theistic beliefs and poor font choices?

Val peeks in and sees that the door to L14 is ajar and your sharp ears picks up the very faint sound of breathing from the padlocked iron grate in the floor.

Ilifir steps a little too loudly. You moved 5 ft in when the dragon opens its eyes and locks its gaze onto Ilifir. It rises quickly with an angry fiery snort it begins to dash towards L14
Everyone can surmise it is running to warn Granny Nightshade.
Val peeks in and sees that the door to L14 is ajar and your sharp ears picks up the very faint sound of breathing from the padlocked iron grate in the floor.
(Curiouser and curiouser!)
Valrieth notes the sounds and the partially open door at the northeast end of the room, but they're in a hurry to free the girl, so she doesn't mention anything at this time. Unfortunately, they accidentally rouse the dragon. Val feels a moment of panic when she sees the dragon's eyes open and says, "The dragon's awake!", her voice tense with fear.
Val springs into action as soon as she sees the dragon move toward the (ajar) door to L14, trying to cast entangle on the ground, centered on a spot about 5' in front of the dragon so that he's just at the southern end of the effect. Even if the vines don't restrain the dragon, she hopes that they'll at least slow him down, giving Lerak time to get between the dragon and the door to the next room (especially if Lerak jumps over the vines and toward the door to L14).
(Of course, if the dragon is out of sight before Val can even start casting her spell, I'll have to adjust her action. From her spot near the door to the outside, I guess she can see most of L13, but I doubt that she could see very far into L14.)
Movement: Val remains outside of L13, just to the south of the door, to make it easier for Lerak and Finley to get into the room and past Ilifir. Action: Cast spell (LVL 1 slot) Entangle, area of effect is difficult terrain All creatures in the 20-foot square area-of-effect when the spell is cast must make a STR 15 save to avoid being restrained. Free Action: Talking
Finley rushes forward, hoping to latch onto the dragon before it flees too far away and he casts Thorn Whip to pull the dragon back through the entangle spell if it manages to get passed the spells area of effect. "Oh no ye don't!"
Movement: As far up to 25 ft. that he can get to be able to lasso the dragon. Action: Cast Thorn Whip:18 to hit, 5 piercing damage and pulls it 10' closer to Finley back through the entangle if it makes it through.

ilifir immediately raises his hand as two razor thin spikes flash towards the dragon
Attack: 18 Damage: 10 Attack: 27 Damage: 21 and the first one that hits deals an additional 2 bludgeoning damage
"surrender swiftly and ill cease to spell sharp spears to strike" he offers, stepping between the dragin and the girl, and silently ordering spike to sneak up on it and attack

Aoife stumbles as she appears in the corner of the room, near the door to L14, as if she's stepped down from something awkwardly. She shakes her head to clear it, then sees the dragon wyrmling bolting towards the door next to her, with the other characters chasing it. She steps in front of the door, blocking it with her bulk, and attempts to scoop the wyrmling up in a protective grasp. She calls out, "Hey, what are you doing? Stop attacking it!"
(Aoife has 2 attacks per action so I'll roll twice, just in case, but if the first one succeeds she won't need the second.)
he is nowhere to be found though there is a light in the sky that resemble the lights from the fireflies. Perhaps he was transported away or perhaps that innocuous candy turned him into a firefly.
The fey magic of this realm has certainly kept them on their toes with companions popping into and out of Prismeer. Val hopes that Lerak is OK, but they have more immediate concerns. Val notices a sinking feeling in her stomach as she realized that the dragon may now be able to get away and warn Granny Nightshade. Or it'll strike back at Ilifir or the poor girl who is shackled to the table.

Val is sure that there wasn't a half-orc adventurer in the room when Ilifir first unlocked the door, and she didn't see anyone enter from the adjoining room (L14). She's a bit dumbfounded and simply blinks, mouth agape, as the half-orc tries to grab hold of the dragon that is currently restrained by Val's magical vines.

As usual, Valrieth has a terrible nature roll. She probably knows almost nothing about green dragons other than that "dragons are scary."
At least she may notice any hidden threats with her big eyes and long ears.
But, unfortunately, she always forgets about how tall her ears are when she tries to hide! 🐰

The party can try to restrain it somehow or try to keep it quiet.

scrambling.

Valrieth, still standing just outside the eastern door says, "Lerak! Quick! Before it can breath fire!"
