(OOC: @Weathervision - one question / clarification about Spike Growth. Is everything in the AoE covered by thorns? Or just the floor? That is, if someone is moving / standing on green sofa or the red chair, do they take damage from the thorns? Or do the thorns only affect people moving across the floor?)
Valrieth realizes that she may have miscalculated. The Spike Growth limits the Lornlings, as she expected, while still leaving some room for Finley to move. Unfortunately, she didn't realize that she had also left enough room for Bavlorna to make it to the edge of the thorns and create new Lornlings outside of the spikey area. And she certainly didn't expect to end up standing right next to Bavlorna! Luckily, Octavian's tune bothers the fey this round, and despite the flurry of stabbing from the Lornling, the strikes that make it past her shield are stopped by her cloak, whose magic miraculously prevents it from tearing and letting the sharp point through!
Val needs to put some distance between her and their opponents if she's going to keep her friends alive and maintain concentration on her spell. She needs to get Aoife back in the fight so that someone can start attacking the hag! Focusing on her own safety first, Val keeps running in a counterclockwise circle (not leaving her square) to trigger Bavlorna's allergy, then she wobbles away south, feeling somewhat dizzy, trying to dodge any attacks from the Lornlings.
Once Val reaches the southwest corner by the stairs, she casts a healing spell and uses the extra healing from her Chalice Starry Form. She yells across the room, "Finley, are you going to blast a bunch of 'em with magic?"
If Finley says that he plans to blast them, Val says, "Aoife, get on the green sofa and then jump over here quickly, before Finley's spell!" Aoife should have enough movement to stand up and make it to the square just north of the door on the west wall by Val. (She can, of course, use her action however she wants, but if Finley uses Thunderwave to push Bavlorna through the thorns toward us, Bavlorna will end up within Aoife's reach in case she wants to ready an attack once something gets within her reach.)
If Finley plans to just use his Thunder Gauntlets and Fire Breath this round, Val says, "Aoife, you're still in this fight. Get on the green sofa and then go get the hag!"
Movement: Val uses 15-ft of movement to continue running widdershins in her square, next to Bavlorna, then she moves south 15-ft. Bonus Action: Cast spell (LVL 1 slot) Healing Word on herself, Healing: +5 (in game log) Chalice Starry Form, extra healing for Aoife: +10 (in game log) Action: Dodge, hopefully avoiding opportunity attacks and attacks from the other Lornlings until her next turn. Free Action: Talking

(OOC: @Valeskah - you'll probably need to wait a moment to see whether Valrieth is successful at moving away from Bavlorna. I think that Bavlorna probably gets an AoO here, and if she grapples Val like she did with Finley, I'll have to adjust the rest of Val's action to account for that, possibly delaying that Healing Word until next round. Never mind. I see that @Weathervision already resolved the opportunity attacks, and Val got away.)
Valreith - CON saving throw: 15 to maintain concentration on Spike Growth.
Valrieth is one tough bunny! She nimbly ducks out of the way of Bavlorna's snapping mouth and then maintains concentration on Spike Growth despite getting stabbed by a wicked Lornling.
Aoife opens her eyes, shakes her head to clear it and grunts. "Thanks, Val!"
She pushes herself up onto the couch (half movement gone), hopefully avoiding the spikes on the floor, and jumps over to Bavlorna to avoid the spikes on the way. She should have enough movement to get to the position Val was in before she moved, right next to Bavlorna.
BA - Aoife casts Barkskin on herself, raising her AC to 17
Action:
Attack 1 with sylvan shortsword 9 to hit for 8 piercing (miss?)
Attack 2 with sylvan shortsword - 24 to hit for 8 piercing
Lornling 7 -10 no longer frightened
Round 4
The party is up. Post when able.
Ugh!
Yay!

Spike Growth says the ground so just the floor and not the furniture.

Val was hit by Lornling 9 so the healing word is used on Val instead of Aoife.
Please make a Concentration Check DC 10.
(OOC: Correct. But Aoife still gets the +10 from Chalice Starry Form. I updated my post above to make it more clear.)
