(OOC: @weathervision - Do the Lornlings each seem to carry one dagger? Or do they have a whole belt full of daggers? Valrieth considers telling Aoife and Finley to get as far from the Lornlings as possible and then using Spike Growth. If the Lornlings move 10' - 15' across the thorny ground, that would probably kill them. if it forces each Lornling to throw its one dagger instead of using it in melee to stab three times, that's probably with it. But there's no point in surrounding them with thorns if they're just going to stand still at a distance and throw a bunch of daggers at us each round!)
Seeing Aoife rush to help, Valrieth says, "No no. Leave the Lornlings to me! We need defeat the hag before she can produce more! Finley, can you get over on the other side of Her?"
Round 3: Aoife moves around to the middle of the room and attacks the lornling in front of Val, then if it is dead, turns to attack the one in front of Finley.
(OOC: Oops! Aoife moved before Val could put her plan into action. I think we're in a particularly tricky spot, and I want to make sure that Val makes a good choice for how to use her concentration here. @Weathervision - Before Val takes her turn I just wanted to confirm that Aoife in basically in front of the green sofa, north of the 2 Lornlings that are between Finley and Val, right?
Also, is it true that none of the Lornings are currently Frightened?)
(OOC: @Weathervision - in reviewing the current status, I noticed that Finley pushed both Bavlorna and the Lornling 10-ft away before using his Fire Breath. At 10-ft away, the Fire Breath cone should be 10-ft wide, hitting both Bavlorna and Lornling 6. I might have missed it in the posts, but I think that Lornling 6 should have rolled a saving throw vs. the Fire Breath too.)
(I checked the Potion of Fire Breath is single target only. Not a cone.)
After drinking this potion, you can take a Bonus Action to exhale fire at a target within 30 feet of yourself. The target makes a DC 13 Dexterity saving throw, taking 4d6 Fire damage on a failed save or half as much damage on a successful one. The effect ends after you exhale the fire three times or when 1 hour has passed.
(OOC: Before Val takes her turn I just wanted to confirm that Aoife in basically in front of the green sofa, north of the 2 Lornlings that are between Finley and Val, right?)
Valrieth feels like they're holding their own against the Lornlings, but it's a losing battle. Bavlorna will just keep creating more Lornlings and eventually wear them down. Val needs to contain the threat of the Lornlings so that everyone can focus on taking down Bavlorna. She decides that summoning back the bestial spirit won't be sufficient. With one last apologetic glance toward Aoife, Val focuses on the Lornling in front of her and uses her telekinesis to push it away. Whether that works or not, Val backs away toward the western wall and casts Spike Growth, centered on a point close to the east wall a little north of the door to the room with the caged "birds." She realizes that she's stepping outside of the protective circle of the Scatterleaf Tea leaves, but she hopes that the Lornlings won't dare to cross the thorny ground to get to her.
Then Val moves to the north toward the other end of the green sofa, saying, "We're coming, Finley!" She wants Bavlorna to be able to see her as she imitates the bestial spirit and runs in a circle counterclockwise. She also hopes that the green sofa gives the 3-ft tall harengon at least half-cover from any ranged attacks that the Lornlings can make against her...or at least encourages them to move through the thorny area to get a clearer attack on her, taking damage as they do so.
Movement: After the telekinetic push, move west 5-ft. Then cast a spell and move 10-ft north. Finally, spend 15-ft of movement running in circles counterclockwise in her space, hoping to keep Bavlorna sneezing. Bonus Action: telekinetically shove the Lornling that's adjacent to her. The Lornling must succeed on a STR 15 save or be moved 5-ft east, directly away from Val, hoping to avoid an opportunity attack and force it to cross more thorny ground to get out of the AoE. Action: Cast spell (LVL 2 slot) Spike Growth. Hard spines and thorns grow over a 20-foot sphere centered on a point just to the north west of the door that leads to B11. Val is trying to leave some space for Finley and her to moves round the edges of the room unhindered while ensuring that any Lornlings that Bavlorna creates will start in the thorny area. The area of effect is difficult terrain, and when a creature moves into or within the area, it takes 2d4 piercing damage for every 5 ft it travels. Free Action: Talking

The lornlings have only 1 dagger.
