Well... I have a Goliath Warlock that I made for a campaign that fizzled out. But how do you want the characters to be made? Point buy or rolled stats? Any restrictions on sources/races/optional class features, etc.?
Well, here's the character
Name: Beshlog Stonebreaker
Species: Goliath
Class: Warlock 1 (The Fathomless)
Alignment: Neutral Good
Background: Outlander
Backstory: Beshlog was born in the frozen North, a member of a primitive tribe of Goliaths who distrusted both magic and technology. But Beshlog was not content with the life of a simple herdsman. He spent a great deal of time in the sacred caves of the Ancestors, studying the runes of the giants and slowly piecing together the knowledge of spellcraft from the bits and pieces lore he could gather. He wasn't especially good at magic, but he didn't really care; he just wanted to satisfy his curiosity about this mysterious other world.
For the most part, the other members of his tribe tolerated Beshlog's oddities. After all, he was a good, strong neighbor and his search for knowledge so far had been confined to looking to the Ancestors for knowledge. But then something changed... one day, as Beshlog and several other members of his tribe were ice fishing, a terrible accident happened. Under the combined weight of multiple goliaths, the ice shattered, and on the bitter cold mountain it the cracked ice was frozen over again before the half-dozen tribesmen and women could return to the surface. All of them perished... or at least, they should have. As he struggled in the icy water, his lungs burning from the lack of air as he fruitlessly tried to break through to the surface, a strange voice called to him softly, offering him a chance to live in exchange for a favor in the future. With time rapidly running out, Beshlog had no choice... he took the mysterious being's deal.
Several hours later, Beshlog emerged from the depths. But it was clear something had changed... he had been marked forever by the touch of that mysterious being. The tolerance that the other members of his tribe had up until that point shown was gone. With most of his friends and family dead in the accident, and the rest of the tribe turned against him, Beshlog left the mountains behind, knowing that his destiny lay elsewhere.
Pollyanna, the urchin swarmkeeper ranger (mc to spore druid if we get that far):
Raised by rats on the mean streets of Baldur's Gate, Pollyanna is an expert in urban survival. She has great affection for the little distasteful creatures most sneer at, and a pet rat she calls Poxy.
Jade, a Half-Elven knight (noble). Attributes permitting, her starting class is Ranger but would multiclass into Paladin. If not, then a Fighter/Paladin or straight Paladin. On a quest to find her liege-lord's daughter/childhood friend, missing for the past 7 years.
Backstory: Kit doesn't remember how or when she came to Balder's Gate, though she has vague and hazy memories of a privileged childhood within the safety of castle walls...
She spends her days working the streets of Balder's Gate as a magician, combining sleight of hand and prestidigitation to delight audiences, or playing her thelarr. In more desperate times, she turns her talents to picking the pockets of the well to do.
Kit has a soft spot for children and often makes time to aid the city's many urchins; providing whatever food, medicine, and comfort her meager resources can provide. (This might be a good tie-in between Kit and Pollyanna)
Backstory: Born and bred in Baldur's Gate, Taiga had been calming hotheads at school already. She's calm and organised and prefers the simplicity of order. These characteristics made it easy for her to join the city guard for an inspector track. Her daily tasks are collecting and cataloguing evidence of crime scenes.
Links: Might have had contact with actors operating some times more and sometimes less outside of the law, like Kit and, perhaps, Pollyanna.

Sorry, I'm beginning to enter a vacation period and while I will try to check-in at least daily, I cannot promise that I will always be able to do so. From September 1, I should be back to normal.
Follow up question. "First dungeon" gives me the impression that this is more of a dungeon crawl style campaign? Is that correct? Can you ballpark the breakdown between combat/exploration/role-play for us please?
Evan was born in Baldur Gate to a better of family just avoiding poverty but still at the same time just being in the lower bracket of the middle class. From a young age he never knew who is mother was nor how he got the red dragon scales that go from both shoulders down to his wrists, now old enough to begin searching for answers he begins by looking in his home city for answers.
origin- born with dark magic in a city not far from baldur’s gate both of her parents was excellent warriors but they were killed in battle from a young age she trained hard to become her dream job: a blood hunter, and so.. now as a young adult she ventures to the gate to find new enemy prey and trusted friends
His family is of minor nobility and he trying to make a name for himself as an adventurer/detective to to the socially blessed. Currently seeking adventure to build his resume and attract higher paying clientele, as only being a minor noble house only gets him so far.
Hey all. Don't know if anyone else got an invite yet but I linked to the campaign and there were a couple of names with slurs in the roll history. Don't think they were any of the current players but at the very best it reflects poor gatekeeping on the DM's part. If we take it at face value that they dropped out because of "inactivity," then you have to assume DM was okay with it. Otherwise, then DM was dishonest about the issue.
Just wanted everyone to be able to make an informed decision about whether they want to proceed.
There were a lot of great character concepts here that I was excited about seeing in action. Sorry that won't happen. Wishing you all the best wherever you end up!
Trist is a half elf. She hails from Daggerford. Her father and mother were part of the Order of the Shooting Stars. She has mainly been running errands for the order in the area around the High Forest. She spends her days honing her skills and learning the area she protects. She is direct and to the point. She has little time for civilities. She is working on her patience though.

Levi Flint - DM - Mad Mage; Korvin - DM - Tyranny of Dragons; Player Lucan - The One Breath, Player Gildor Surion - Balder's Gate-Decent;
This is Tanjo's first adventure. He's a quick and underestimated hooligan who's learned life by thriving in the streets and town markets. Tanjo can't help but unburden people from their valuables and seeks opportunities to gain wealth at scale!
Personality Traits
The first thing I do in a new place is note the locations of everything valuable—or where such things could be hidden.
Ideals
Freedom. Chains are meant to be broken, as are those who would forge them. (Chaotic)
Bonds
I’m guilty of a terrible crime. I hope I can redeem myself for it.
Flaws
When I see something valuable, I can’t think about anything but how to steal it.
Personality Traits: she is horribly, horribly awkward in social situations. I am a serious bookworm.
Ideals: Self-Improvement. the goal of a life of study is the betterment of oneself.
Bonds: I have been searching for the answer to a certain question my whole life.
Flaws: Most people scream and run when they see a demon. I stop and take notes of its anatomy.
Lyra lives with her mother's family. Her mother, Taliesser, was a blade singer apprenticed to one of the greatest blade singers in elven history. She had been assigned to protect the caravan carrying the Elvish ambassador to a high council meeting. On the way, the caravan encountered a burned-out wagon with a dying male elf. Over the course of months, Taliesser fell in love with who she thought was an elf. The closer they got, the more he finally felt comfortable telling her that he had human heritage. His grandfather was human and his family lived near and around humans. Taliesser was not prejudiced but she knew her people and her family looked down on humans. She still made the choice to stay with him and I, Lyra, was born. Her mother went back to training as a blade singer. Shortly afterwards, my family was ambushed. My father was killed and my mother only lived long enough to bring me to my grandmother who ended up raising me. When I was old enough, I approached my mother's old teacher and asked for blade singer training. I have never been on any adventures but my teacher felt that it would confirm whether or not I actually should be a blade singer.

Lost a few players due to inactivity, looking for 4-6 1st level. Just need a quick bio on your character (Race, Class, etc.)
Could you give a little more information? Is this a restart or a continuation?
