Rellahne takes to Shadow's proposal with a nod, before immediately pointing out what she'd change about it. "Keep the idea of the fund, I'm sure it'll become helpful in practice. However, about each share of the money, I believe it'd be better if we split the total in 10, and I take only 1 of that fraction. Each of you would have 300 gold pieces, and I a hundred. I can receive an equal share once I've been equally involved in these adventures as much as you have."
(I'm not getting this wrong, right? Quite a bit of that treasure was collected before Rellahne joined the team, is that correct?)
it will take a while to count them all but...ok...
He separates the coins on the table of their new rented home and gives the money to each unlucky bastard (300 each, 100 to Rellahne) and the rest (426g 5s 6cp) into the common cash, taking back 4 coins he paid for rent.
ooc: did we identify which properties "a potion; and a wand" from J47?
Money written in other possession in the inventory
wheighing the common money in his hands:
Talking of which...I have an idea... in my opinion something is strange with the locksmith's trial... too quick...too direct...all in all he was just threatened by the slavers to keep silence, not to kidnap, he did not kidnap anyone...why did he take all the blame?
BUT if what the news said is true, he is confined in his shop/house, guarded, and he is obliged to change all the locks for free...
So I was thikning, with the excuse of calling him here, we can talk to him, what do you think?!
In the end we can ask him to place a strongbox inside the house where to keep the common money: he will come here and we can ask him about the trial!
While, talking about this money: any expense? something we want to buy?
ooc: I assume the house is furnished, isn't it? even if it is, we would need some sundry things: wood for the fireplace for the winter, what else?
Rellahne seems to remain calm about the issue, and she responds without much concern. "I'm sure their intentions were good, though their actions are misguided. I have yet to learn of a trial that was resolved with the intention of hiding other criminals, so yes, I'll gladly help and come with, if you'll have me."
Moreover, what is even more strange is: we rescued everyone out... we have known a lot about the slavers but none, really nobody asked to hear our version...
FInished the biscuit and continues:
mh..chomp chomp... we are kind of well known now, especially about this whole kidnap affair, so I was thinking about sending my father to the shop, instead of one of us, do you agree?
"They might know our names, but would they know your faces? I'm not past lying to get in on something that serves the greater good." Rellahne says, thinking on her own question to see if she could answer it, but she quickly has another thought. "Well, even if they do, we have multiple solutions. The people we're looking to hire, wouldn't they work well as faces for the team in this instance? Even I can hide my appearance with a bit of magic."
"I don't want you to think I distrust your father..." Rellahne says in a kind tone, but she continues very bluntly. "But does he have a lot of experience with investigations? I know I'm quite capable myself, so the uncertain skills of an average man may not be enough to get as much information as just I alone could."
(OOC: I disagree with Rellahne, by the way. Let the father help, I say! But she's a little too conceited, unfortunately.)
The locksmith knows us I think we should speak with him. There is probably a reason for this and honestly it might be for his protection , house arrest and rekeying everything in town.... that gives someone that wants keys a lot of power. Something more is probsbly happening in this town. Someone from the church was on the panel so that makes me nervous about going back to them. But with our new notoriety I'm sure we can find more work I'd we want that too.
(Shadow will reach out to his thieves contacts for information about the key master and situation when he is next meeting them but doesn't say that to the group at this time)

Shadow, Tyris Oreus, and Rellahne head to Keygan's shop. However as you approach the shop you see town guards guardian it. There are so Half-orc guards that are wearing a different uniform than the town guard. As you draw closer and look like you are about to enter a youngish Sargeant comes out of the shop door and asks your business with the Locksmith. Upon hearing that you were the group that broke up the slavery ring, he admitts that the story of Keygan's arrest was a pretense for making the shop and it’s secret passage into Jzadirune and Malachite Fortress into a secret guard post. "To prevent another iincursion from below the city" He proclaims.
At your request to talk to Keygan directly he says that Keygan is not currently available in residence and that the city council has put him up in a secret safe house until the city guard has secured the Dwarven and Gnomish strongholds.
Shadow nods the the Seargent and says "thank you. Please help keep this safe and from happening again." Then he tells the rest of the party "let's go" amd leads them away. Looks like we are free to look for new work!

The parry decides to hire a couple new members and you open up your new house as a recruitment office for a few days. There are a lot of promising candidates, and you finally agree on these two...
A Dwarf Cleric named Vuntuk Emberstone
and Irena a human Sorcereress
I believe that Vuntuk can use the 2nd set of Plate Armor.
Oreus do you want to keep the Dwarven Urgrosh or let Vuntuk take it?
Rellahne do you want to give Irena any of the magic items from the Chapter 1 loot?
Vuntuk has put on a stern, no-nonsens expression during the recruitment process, but the wrinkles around his eyes betray him for a person that likes to laugh a lot. His face is weathered and leathery from the heat of the forge. His black hair and beard are braided and held together by steel rings, polished to be shiny enough to be mistaken for silver. His heavy armor has a dark, reddish brown, almost rusty color, safe for a silver band that runs around the helmet and comes to an end on the front where it melds with an emblem of a hammer. Etched into the steel of his massive shield is an intricated symbol of a hammer and anvil, reveaing him to be a follower of Moradin. Being told that he is accepted into the Unlucky Bastards of Justice, he is trying to look casual and relaxed, a thing that is not easy to do for a heavyly armored dwarf with handaxes stuck in his belt and a warhammer almost as large as himself resting on the floor besid him. He takes out a pipe, lights it and takes a drag. With his pipe slowly filling the room with the scent of smoke he gives the room and everyone present a general look-over and then speaks with a rough, low-pitched voice.
"So, ya all are the Unlucky Bastards? From what ah've heard, ya should all be giants. Made me wonder how ya got anything done without a dwarf among ya."
Irena smiles coyly as she hears the news that she has been selected. It is a welcome break from the stiff formal manner she has displayed so far. She dresses formally in upper class clothing, hair pulled up and secured.
"I'm glad you've decided to let me help you out."

I actually didn't consider this (I don't think we did when I was playing this campaign either).
We'll say that it does come furnished. Food and other things like that should be part of your upkeep cost. Let's say 10 Gp to personalize the house.
Ok updated
Does anyone else want to follow Oreus play about Keygan?
