Meanwhile, Bridgette wanders into the midst of her companions with her hair a complete mess, her clothing wrinkled and torn in several places, a few bruises, and a huge smile on her face.
"Somehow, I don't think my patron would be too proud of me right now," she says with a chuckle. "That dusty old lich always was a bit of a prude... but I guess when you've been dead for a few thousand years you might forget the pleasures of the flesh. So... what in the Nine Hells is going on down here?"

Guile holds up the unused scroll, "A scroll of water breathing. One is enough to allow ten creatures to breathe underwater. Two are used, so it's a likely guess their escape led them underwater. Question is do we follow and use the scroll? Let's scout for tracks taking the tunnel passage. If we get Bridgette down here, she could try that [magic item]cap of water breathing;cap[/magicitem] and save the scroll. Meanwhile, may as well fetch that sword."
Guile sends his familiar dashing ahead to continue to look for any creatures or exit. Guile goes to the edge of the bank and tests if he's within range of mage hand to retrieve the sword. He eyes the boat and water for any signs of danger (Perception11), while considering the boat, used scrolls, and evidence of tracks to figure out which way they fled. (Investigation: 25)

Aegnor
Aegnor says to Rog and telepathically(If active), "Let's get down below and close this secret door behind us...I doubt we're going out the front door now. Let's get the wolves through here too."
He starts helping get through the secret door if it's possible..If not possible it's plan be go out the front door and try and get to the mayor's house to talk to Agnir.
Aegnor hurting after the temple fight drinks a healing potion....7
"Some silver å red bands planned to use Arnei to fake a slave escape and blame us. But Arnei changed it to a Real slave escape, implicating the silver and reds, AND us. And he's trying to assassinate Agnir. The slaves escaped down the hatch and we're trying to find them. And it looks like you can use your cap, and I can use my cloak."
Gema is outside spreading her rumors with astounding success. She can choose to be among the crowd that enters the temple.
Aegnor & Rog will not have a problem getting the wolves down into the secret passage and the door's mechanism is obvious from the inside, so it can be closed immediately.
Nox flies down the passage 100' (familiar communication range) and senses another secret exit about 20' further down. Guile guesses it opens somewhere in the old Town Hall that Agnir is using as a headquarters. As Guile is using the mage hand to pick up the sword, a spout of water jets up and engulfs the blade. It forces the blade back onto the makeshift altar. Guile realizes that it is a Water Weird that has been bound as a protector of the blade.
If the party is in telepathy range when the crowd filters in Gema will keep the party posted and if she can get a moment to herself she'll look through her companions' eyes and get a sit rep
Guile speaks up to discuss their options, "The passage leads to another secret door, likely to the town hall. My guess is Arnel meant to use this passage to plant evidence and kill Agnir. That scroll may have been left for him to later join the others. Those of you who can swim and breath underwater- see if you can find out where the slaves went. The rest of us should go to the town hall and warn Agnir. Let's leave the blade for now, we can retrieve it later once we sort out this escape."
Vanja grumbles as she follows the others down into the passageway. "Go to the mines... go to the basement... where's the fight I was promised?"
She stops short as she sees the pool room. "Who the hell puts a lake in the basement?"

(OOC Does Ravager know this? Like she hears guards talk about sending a message to Agnirat the Mayor's house or something?)
(OOC gonna assume she overheard the guards talking (or something) that Agnir is at the Mayors)
As soon as Ravager hears that Agnir is at the mayor's, she doubles back to the trapdoor.
"Too small to be my first command", she says as she passes the vessel.
(still standing by, I know some DMs get worried things are slowing down)
(I'm just waiting on the go-ahead for Bridgette to enter)

Guile examines the 3 scrolls, two of them are blank (recently used, apparently), the last has Water Breathing scribed onto it.
Rog & Aegnor are still in the Temple with all the wolves. Everyone else is now down in the pool area milling about.
Bridgette enters in with a stranger (Gema in Disguise).
You have 4-6 rounds left to make your decisions on what to do next.
Cats go Moo!
(assuming Gema gets a full update) "I'm going to sew a little chaos, stay on frosty"
Gema will head outside and try to tell every person heading toward the temple a different story

"One of the slaves plans to assassinate Agnir, we have to stop him or that vile Reginald will become our leader"
Or
"Reginald has executed a coup, he plans to have Agnir killed"
Or
"Revelution! Reginald aims to take his rightful place as leader"
And so on and so forth. Full rumormongering to buy time so the group can get ahead of this.
(I'm going to drop a stealth roll in the next panel just in case)

Bridgette will pretty much go along with whatever plan right now... she just got here and is still a little bit confused about the whole situation.
