Binder's Hold and the Problem with the Mine.

What is everyone decision about what happens when the smoke is lifted in the next turn? Surrender to the authorities, fight, hide or leave?

Aegnor pats Shadow.."Good boy, Looks like they had some magic assistance there.  Let's get back to the others.  Heel, guard."

Aegnor will meet up with the others as they decide on how to proceed with this debacle saying softly, "We've still got the fake Rog right?  In with the smoke bottle.  The problem is we need to be able to tell it to the person who will want to hear it."

Gema is most likely surrendering as long as she doesn't feel threatened. She's always been better at the long game and will start spewing legal jargon at the authorities if she thinks it will get them an angle

Aegnor will assist Gema in her efforts and bolster their position and tactics.

Vanja is continuing to run down the passageway after the escaped double, yelling plaintively, "Come back and fight me! This isn't fair!"

Once the smoke clears and there is nobody there to fight, she will return to the room and fall in with what the others are doing -- probably surrendering. 

Bridgette is still running as well... she ain't planning to go back to go back to jail, and she's not planning to let the impersonator get away.

Ravager has been following Bridgette.  She wants to catch the bastards before she has any dealings with anyone else.

Seeing as how Guile is already outside in pursuit, he'll continue to follow with Ravanger and Bridgette to see if they can catch the imposter.

Frisca shouts out, "If you are in the smoke I suggest you lay flat on the ground now, not my fault if you get knocked on your ass!" She then unfurls something and starts muttering out an incantation.  

You can choose to move back inside the building or attempt to follow the person fleeing Vanja.

The person to the right side of the entrance, fleeing Vanja has ran towards the group approaching with the Gust of Wind caster.

Aegnor with shadow moves to intercept the individual fleeing from Vanja.

Once Aegnor has the individual in sight commands Shadow to intercept the individual.

At a speed of 50 ft shadow can get to the individual quicker and stall it long enough to for Vanja and himself to get there.

From up ahead you hear someone moving ahead who speaks up, "This Leftenant Aaron Mitchelson!  Everyone inside the smoke stand down until it is cleared, by my order!  Those of you who are outside the smoke cloud, detain anyone trying to escape!"  

You hear soldiers on both sides of the Passwall acknowledge his order.  

(Vanja, with your exceptional perception, you are nearly 100% sure this order came from the Fake Rog.  Leftenants are gold banders)

Vanja yells in her head to try and tell the telepathic ones in the group "That's the faker! - the one trying to be Rog I'm sure of it!  Do we attack or skedaddle?"

"Clay, Frisca, that Leftenant Mitchilson is one of the murderers! He pretended to be Rog with an illusion. Please, I have no reason to lie to you when you've got us in this position"

Aegnor backs up the story presented about the fake imposters to lend credibility to the information, "You can scan our thoughts and place a zone of truth to verify the information.  The dead can speak to their actions as well.  The truth can't be hidden even though you may try here as Leftenant Mitchilson who try to impersonate us to tarnish our accomplishments."

Shadow sneaks around during the conversation while subtley and goes over to piss on the Lt's Mitchilson's boot/leg.  Adding his personal scent to the LT.

"They lie! Kill them! They must have done something to Lord Arnel and are trying to throw everything into confusion!" shouts Leftenant Mitchelson.

"Belay that order! I'm taking command here!" roars Hektor's familiar voice. "Gema, Aegnor... whoever!  Stand your squad down!  Wait for the smoke to clear!" 

"You there", barks Hektor to someone unseen.  "Go wake up the Arbiter and tell her we need a truth saying! "  

Vanja, your foot hits something heavy in the smoke.

Barring any other actions, the smoke will be cleared and everyone expect Zelgius and Kumiko (Who are still down having their discussion in the secret area) will be marched into the temple.  Aegnor, it would probably be a bad idea for your wolf to get close to someone who doesn't seem to be having any difficulty in the blinding smoke.  He's likely to take a swipe at your wolf with advantage.

"Can't stand much more down than this" Gema says from her prone position

Vanja reaches down to feel what she just kicked. 

Ravager reluctantly agrees to stand down & goes to the temple

(OOC what happened in the chase Bridget and ravager saw the fake Bridget passed through the pass wall and followed her immediately after getting through the Secret Door did we not even get close enough to recognize who she is if she has turned back into her normal appearance

(The fake Bridget used a spell to get away.)

Vanja finds a maul with bits of bone tied to it.  (The one the fake Rog was using)

After a very windy moment the smoke finally clears.  A very upset human is putting on a gold band across his brow glaring at your group.  Hektor motions for everyone to head to the temple.   He points to a couple of guardsmen, "You two, come with me while I investigate what happened in there."  He looks at the human, "As for you, Mitchelson, I'm suspending your command until I figure out what happened here, go back to your bivouac."  

The wraith turns to your group.  "Go back to your barracks and wait for the Arbiter to come question you.  That is an order."

(Note: there are 4 patrolmen on the west side from the Passwall and 6 with Hektor on the east side of the street.  Kumiko and Zelgius are not part of the group that has been ordered back to barracks)  

Gema will pop up and move to head to the barracks with the escort
