Binder's Hold and the Problem with the Mine.

Bridgette sighs as she realizes her doppelganger escaped.

"Well this is a load of bullshit," she mutters as she returns to the barracks with the others. "And I was starting to think those lizards liked me. Guess that goes to show you that you can't judge a lizard by how good he is in the sack."

Aegnor says in beast speech, "Come Shadow.  Stay clear of the imposter.  Who's to say you're not in on the whole thing."  

More a statement than a question as he walks towards the barracks to wait for someone to figure this all out.

Ravager paces, waving her tail like a mad cat, then addresses the group.

"Something's been nagging at me and I realized what it is.  They could have planted anything in here while we were playing Ring Around the Rosie with our doppelgangers.  I'm going to start looking to see if they planted stuff."

Total investigation 18.  After a thorough search of your quarters, you realize someone has rifled through your gear, but has not taken anything obvious.  

There is a knock on your door, outside a guard informs you that the Arbiter will be arriving shortly.  Kumiko and Zelgius are no longer within range of the group telepathy.

Kumiko & Zelgius:  The Water Weird has reappeared and is now doing something to the shrine area where the weapon is.

"UAAGH! What is that?! Was that why those other guys were fighting downstairs?!" Kumiko yells as she catches sight of the water monster again, though she knows it hasn't spotted the two. "Hang on. Keep a distance and don't attack it yet. I wanna see what it's up to first!"

Investigation: 10

"I agree with you. We keep our distance from it first before we rush at it head on if we need to. Besides, why would the others be squabbling over something like this? Get behind me and hold your fire in the meanwhile!"

Gema doesn't keep a whole lot in the barracks, so after the Bardic Inspiration, she'll start touching up makeup and trying to look good. Never know when you'll need an edge

Bridgette sighs... she isn't surprised by this, just annoyed. She'll go ahead and check her stuff to make sure nothing important is missing.

Ravager breaths a sigh of relief. 

"It doesn't look like they've planted incriminating evidence In my stuff.  How about you?", she says loud enough for everyone in the room to hear.

Aegnor responds, “Ahh…I’m not sure.”

He shrugs his shoulders.

Beast speech, “Shadow sniff.  Find anything not ours.”

19  advantage on perception check with smell

Shadow goes about the premise sniffing.  He investigates all your gear, you notice he spends much more of his time at the gear owned by the females of the group.  Using Beast Speech, shadow informs you that a fairly fresh female, orcish scent seems to have thoroughly gone through and handled the gear of all the females of the party, EXCEPT for Bridgette's.

After getting that information, there is a knock on your hostel's door.   A human clerk of the Arbiter is there to take your statements under a Zone of Truth to be casted by him.  Let me know if you willingly fail the saving throw and tell the truth about what happened or if you have made another decision.

Zelgius & Kumiko the Water Weird looks like its trying to move the weapon into the water with it, btu something is hampering its action.   (Roll Initiative)

Water Weird: 18

"Hey foxgirl! Do you see something hampering that slime creature? Let's take advantage of that and finish it!"

"I have a name you know! It's Kumiko! Urgh whatever! Looks like we've found our prey!" The foxgirl snarls as she blasts Mind Spike (DC 16 Wis SAVE or get blasted with 21 damage)
