Binder's Hold and the Problem with the Mine.

Bridgette will use her action to cast armor of agathys and then climb back onto shore to help everyone deal with the creature.

Arnel at this time yells at the group, "Make sure it doesn't get back into the water!"  He then releases his hold on the rope, letting the group take up any slack.  He immediately fades out of Darkvision view (Free action) and attacks the creature.

Longbow /w advantage for being unseen.

Guile's flaming sphere glows brightly (20' bright, 20' dim) as it collides again with the giant.  There is no refuge from the flames as Guile hurls a fire bolt immediately following the sphere.

Ravager takes a moment to cast "Toll the Dead", then continues pulling

Vanja runs forward, grabbing out her vicious longsword, swinging it at the monster.

She swings again, bringing the sword down on its skull.

The vicious longsword cuts deep, doing another 7 pts of slashing damage on the first strike.

The creature dies with a horrible wail under your onslaught!!!

Arnel then speaks up from the shadows, "The new town's leader has requested your audience, immediately."

Aegnor says, "Perhaps he recognizes my brilliant tactical and strategic battles skills.  A promotion likely I'm guessing.  I wonder if there is any loot on the body."

Once done with the investigation or after he assist another in their investigation.

"Skelly and Shadow let's go see the town leader.  Heel and protect the group."

Guile rolls his sphere over towards Arnel and stops within 10' of him.  The sphere burns hotly as Guile addresses Arnel, "So you didn't leave with your clan?  Perhaps our first meeting was a bit...tense.  It was not clear where our allegiance were warranted.  If you intend to return to camp, you'll need us to keep quiet about Agnir.   I am willing to defer judgement if killing him was the right decision, as we know little of the new leader Ironcrag.  What of the lizardfolk?  We injured a number of them and could pursue?"

Guile ceases concentration on the flaming sphere when he senses Anrel is friendly or open to a truce.

"I don't know much about the new leader myself, not even his name." responds Arnel,  "Hektor gave me the order to let you know that you were wanted."  The elf pauses for a second.  "I was given the EXACT location on a hand drawn map of where you would be at this time an hour ago.  How they knew your group would be here... or even that this area existed in the first place baffles me."

He then motions for your group to start heading back the way you came.

Aegnor,

Aegnor waits till out of range and says to the others softly, "Probably not much on that large beast anyway.  Shadow and skelly let's get going.  Seems like someone is tracking us in some way for them to know that information. Perhaps we're carrying something we weren't before that might help them."
