Aegnor continues to shore up the earth to give the others time to do what they want with the injured individual.  He also clears a section of the webs by clearing a spot of dirt out of the way of the webs.

Vanja looks disturbed. "It's one thing to kill people in a fair fight, and another one to smash their legs and leave them in a hole. Let's get him out of there." She helps Ravager by readying herself to pull the rope back out when it is tied around the gnome.

Ravager makes it down with little difficulty, the gnome begs her "Please get me out of here, don't let it eat me!"  He pauses as the ground rumbles, then starts to wail, "By the gods, it's coming back to finish us off!"

Vanja: You see Ravager turn towards something in the shadows, starts to shout out something and then just stare at something out of sight. 

The party will need to get down in the hole to target the creature unless it gets closer.

Ravager, make another charisma saving throw on your turn (You will be able to tell the group what you saw if you save, which should be easy if you don't roll another 2, LOL :)

Aegnor using mold earth fashions a ramp down for him, skelly and Shadow to make it down to assist the others.

At the Lower level he'll assess his actions based on what he sees and Vanja's actions.

Vanja looks down into the hole. "Let what eat you?"

She notices Ravager staring off into nothing. "Come on Ravager, snap out of it. What's happening down there?"

Vanja starts clambering into the hole.

Guile's attention is refocused when it's clear there's still a threat.  "Still vermin in the tunnels, eh?  We best clear the way."

Guile looks out from the doorway to see if the guards have started assembling.  He shouts outside the structure, "Guards, to me.  We are under attack."  Looking back to the tunnel, the web disappears as Guile conjures a flaming sphere on the stone floor approximately 10 feet from the opening.  "Lure whatever remains out or stand back and I'll burn them away..."

Cha save: 18

If she saves, she says "Oh FRACK!  It's a (name of monster)!" and summons her pact weapon.  Attacks if she can and Shield as a reaction if it attacks.

If she fails, sh says "D'oh!" and stares

The Umber Hulk moves up takes a swipe and a bite at Ravager and reaches up with its other claw at Vanja.

1st swipe at Ravager 9 D: 9

Bite at Ravager 23 D: 11

2nd swipe at Vanja 24 D: 6

Ravager takes 10 pts of slashing and 15 pts of piercing damage.  Vanja swings out of the grasping claws way as she hits the ground.

 The umber hulk is now visible to those up above.  (20' above)

Reaction = Hellish rebuke. 23  dex 16 save

Vanja squawks and swings her Vicious Longsword at the hulk, calling. "Come on, you great mammoth! Come and get me!"

Attack 1: 17 Damage: 8

Attack 2: 14 Damage: 8

If she hits with one, she will use a superiority die to make a Goading Attack (DC15 WIS save or disadv on all attacks except for targeting Vanja)

Extra damage will be 6

(Will take Parry response if it hits her)

On a failed saving throw, the creature can’t take reactions until the start of its next turn.  Ravager can use can use her reaction though.

Ravager and Vanja managed to put down the Umber Hulk, with the Hellish Rebuke finishing it off!

The gnome whimpers "Please get me out of here, there are more down here!  They were hunting the other monster which tunneled into us!"

The group hears more, multiple sounds of rumbling earth getting closer.  

Ravager picks up the gnome by the scruff of his shirt (or belt or whatever) & runs

"Clear the way, we need to run!" 

Dash action

Aegnor moves with the others at his, skelly's best speed as shadow heels to keep up.

Vanja bolts with the others.
