The arrow flies true and impacts Drake A just behind the left foreleg. It lets out a howl of pain.

Drake B can sense that its tormentor is just ahead. It blindly dashes forward and tries to bite the creator of darkness and hit it with its tail, but misses both times.

Shar is starting to regret coming on this mission, they didn't sign up for miniature dragons. Shar backs up and yells at Vrakhazar "I've changed my mind, I'll clean the floors instead." And makes big arm waving motions trying to show a portal.

Drake A is feeling hurt and he doesn't like it. It will have its vengeance on the snack in front of it. 

Bite To Hit 12

12 manages to dodge the bite, but leaves themselves open for the tail which hits them in the legs.

Falkas is up

Falkas leaps over the tail and stabs down at the neck of the drake with his pike. "Oh no you don't!" He glances at Shar fleeing. "Here doggie doggie!" He bangs his pike on the ground and then shifts to the north, staying close to the creature to keep it from giving chase.

Action: Attack Drake B: 19 to hit. 8 piercing damage.

Movement: North of Drake B, same distance away.

Falkas hits the Drake with his pike, the end going deep into its side. Dark blood flows as Falkas removes the weapon. The Drake growls and snaps at the pike.

Vrakhazar is up. She doesn’t want to get any closer to the action, but once again reaches inside herself and says in a stuttering voice what sounds like a prayer. 12 feels a feeling was over him and is healed 3 hp.

Round 3

12 is up

Twelve, once again, attempts to strike at the Drake in front of him, bringing his quarterstaff down on the beast.

Quarterstaff (two-handed): 15 to hit, 9 bludgeoning damage

He spends his last ki point to strike twice more at the monstrous creature

Both unarmed strikes: Nat 1. (I'm going to go climb in a hole)

Vrakhazar cheers as 12 uses the quarterstaff hits the Drake A squarely on the head, the Drake is staggered and is looking very poorly now.  

As both the following hits miss Vrakhazar says a long string of words in what sounds like a rebuke and points to her holy symbol, you get the impression that she is suggesting that you haven’t been keeping up with your daily prayers to Tymora.

Baldan is up.

Baldan still saking mutters something under their breath and three golden darts fly towards Drake A

Damage 10

The mighty beast shudders at the impact, light appears in its eyes and it whole body convulses before it falls down dead

Chrys is up

"This dragon dog is pretty angry in here, let me know when to drop the darkness!" Falkas shouts, stomping his boot to try and keep it distracted.

Drake B howels in anger, expecting to hear the response of its companion. It is disturbed when it doesn’t get a response.

Twelve calls to the drake, "Good sir lizard. Your companion is dead and your death is likely to follow. Why not cease this strife and join our party? I will personally ensure that you get all the rodents that you can eat."

Animal Handling: 17 (game log)

While a domestic animal, the guard Drake is used to its handlers providing orders in Draconian. 12's calm voice may have been enough to calm it in normal circumstances, but its blood is up and the dark and lack of response from its companion is too much for 12 to overcome.

Pivoting on the tree branch, Chrys leaps outward into open air to get an open shot at the remaining drake. Sunlight glints off the arrowhead just as she releases it at the unfortunate bease.

She fires an arrow at Drake B.

Shortbow Attack: 22 Damage: 6 piercing
