Roo follows fast behind the fleeing bandit, but his little legs don't allow him to keep up while also trying to do damage. Instead he moves as far as he can before his body goes rigid again, and he hwarfs up another Eldritch Blast, flinging it across the interior of the cavern right at his target.
Turn Summary
Movement: 25 feet toward Bandit Leader A Action- Attack: 21 to hit, 9 damage
Wilfred watches the leader fall to Roo's ...attack? Not seeing anyone else, Wilfred moves into the cavern. If he sees an enemy, he will attack them. If not, he will dash.
Corlith spots that there is now a path into the larger chamber and squeezes past his companions, following Wilfred. He also ignores the tunnels that were crossed out on the crude map they found earlier.
Special: Concentration Bless (Reed, Roo and Wilfred) round 3/10
The halfling cowering against the wall turns around at Reed's voice and the older man throws his arms around Reed. "Y-y-yes, they are up there. They ran when they heard you c-coming" He points to the tunnel just North of him where Wilfred and Corlith are already checking things out. Reed recognizes the man, he is Calbyn Grandcheeks.
(Reed, that dash to him would be your BA if you wanted - did you want to take another action?)
Archie, having tried to regain a bit of a sense of self, dashed as fast as her clanking legs can take her toward the people pushing to the front, Wilfred and such like. She sighs in relief "I didn't like being squashed up like that, feels claustrophobic, y'know."
Virro moves to the northeast passage near him and looks, listens for additional combatants, still keeping his eye on the main chamber, but listening for who else is around.

A wizard is never late, nor is he early, he arrives precisely when he means to.
"Nothing down this way," Reed says as he tries to calm Mr Grandcheeks. "Why don't you head back out of the mine? You can still catch up with my mum and the others."
Calbyn nods emphatically and runs out of the tunnel without looking back.
Wilfred, Corlith and Archie suddenly hear commotion heading from the NW tunnel. About six halflings, covered in filth and carrying pickaxes come barreling out of it. As they run into the party, they stop, stunned, unsure what to do.
Reed's father emerges from the group and tentatively heads over to Reed. "My boy. My dear boy, it is so good to see you. The man has a message for you. Leave and we can all leave with you. They promise to leave our village alone. And I can tell you we're all here, they didn't keep any of us behind."
"Well, you best all be getting up to the top," Reed says with a smile. He looks at his dad, making sure he's unharmed. "You go on ahead. We'll just wait here until you're all safely out."
He looks at the others and pauses for a moment again before looking back to his dad.
“Nothing I can hear this way…”. Virro calls back into the main chamber. He walks around the bend a little further to see where it goes, calling back “Just checking a minute more, let’s make sure we have them all…”

A wizard is never late, nor is he early, he arrives precisely when he means to.
Wilfred tightens his grip on his Glaive as he hears the commotion. He is ready to attack, but stops when he sees the halflings. He keeps an eye on the tunnel as Reed reunites with his dad. "Aw, geeze, dust got in my eye." Wilfred says, rubbing his eyes, as he sees Reed hug his dad.
"They will not leave your village alone. That is a lie. That is what they do, get the hooks in the good old working class, then keep 'em down. You know what I mean. It ain't right." Wilfred says, getting a bit heated. He stops himself. "Sorry, not the time for that. Is there another way out of the mine?"
"yeahhhhh I don't trust that at all, I think the timefor trust was the first time these guys were kicked out of the village. If they were already given had a second chance, best to not let them have a third..." Archie points out scratching her head and preparing to go in the direction of the bandits.
Corlith listens to the opinions before interjecting himself.
"Hello Mr Underbough. I am Corlith. The man said if we leave, you all can leave with us, right? I am curious, what did he say would happen if we did not leave?", he asks of Reed's father.
The old halfling is just a hair shorter than his son and is noticed as they embrace. He nods as they break apart, and you can see his eyes welling up a bit as he tries not to look directly in Reed's eyes.
"Yes yes, they need to go, but I'm not leavin ya here my boy. I got's me pickaxe and there are four of em left in there." He turns to Wilfred, "Not that I know of? It's not that big of a mine and I've never seen another way in or out."
He then gives Archie a long look, "Are.. are you ok? Something seems wrong with your voice? Is it an echo inside that suit or ? Sorry, now isn't the time, but you shoulda get that checked on."
Smiling at Corlith and his politeness, "Why hello Corlith, you can call me Garret. If we don't leave? Well.. he didn't say. Just that we can leave if you all leaves with us and honestly I didn't ask. We don't none care about this mine, I just wanted to find me Bree." he scratches his head, his face drawing into a frown as he tries to untie the puzzle.
The other halfings heads swivel from Garret to whoever is talking and back, clutching their pickaxes and checking over their shoulder at times back where they came from.
”Catch up to mom and make sure they’re protected in the way back to town. We’ve got this. We’ve had a bit of practice lately cleaning out brigand infested undetrground lairs.”
Virro comes back into the main chamber as Reed says this, he pulls out two thumbs from his pouch, then concentrates and holds his own two thumbs up as well, for a total of four thumbs up to his comments, giving Reed’s dad a smile.
"Well, I think it is time we pressed on. The more time we spend chatting, the more time they have to prepare whatever it is they are going to do", Corlith explains. "We'll see you shortly, Garret".
"Now, who wants to take point?", he asks, ready to give them a little extra protection as they head down the tunnel.
Garret stands there and looks at his son, sadness in his eyes a bit, but mainly they are full of pride. He puts his hand on Reed's shoulder and nods. "Yes, I shall go find Bree and take care of her. You all seem very capable." He looks like he is about say more, but instead nods to the rest of you and then squeezing Reed's shoulder he brings him in for another hug. Patting him on the back, he then lets go of his son and follows the rest of the halflings out of the cavern.

Special: Concentration Bless (Reed, Roo and Wilfred) round 3/10
Reed trots into the main cavern, at first looking for more bandits but then heads for the halfling when he spots them.
He waves a greeting, but then holds his finger over his lips, indicating that the halfling should be quiet.
"Hi," Reed whispers. "We're here to help. Are there any more of these brigands around?"
The halfling cowering against the wall turns around at Reed's voice and the older man throws his arms around Reed. "Y-y-yes, they are up there. "It's okay Mr Grandcheeks," Reed says. "Where are the others from the village?"
Once he answers, Reed points out the way for Calbyn Grandcheeks to head to the surface.
He calls over to Wil and Corlith.
"He says they went that way," Reed says.
Reed however, examines the area behind where Grandcheeks was.
