Thought about that. That part is going to be covered in the grappling rule, it applies to all grapple/tackle/push checks. As the Bird of Prey action is technically a grapple it falls under that.
Your regularly scheduled "The Guild" campaign will now be put on hold for the High School AU Dating Sim campaign "Love at Guild High"

Honestly, I figured Catherine drank too much and passed the hell out but if it came from under the floorboards, thats way more interesting.

So... remember when I mentioned the necessity of visiting a plague doctor when you get infected by a disease? Well, I have been making a MS word document to list all the possible diseases your characters may be infected by and their effects, cures everything and... I noticed it's 13 pages long and there's still a lot more diseases I want to add. The Plague Doctor thing won't make sense if there's only 3 diseases. And now it occurred to me that there's probably a crap ton of house rules (as seen in the campaign page) and even more homebrew content planned. There's so much of it that I'm worried that this isn't DnD 5e anymore. I don't know WHAT this is but it isn't 5e.
So I want to ask this: Are you guys okay with this huge amount of house rules and homebrew crap? I mean this is going to be a LOOONG campaign and I don't want you guys to end up playing something that isn't what you guys signed up for and end up really resenting it. I really don't want to be a shit DM like the one behind The SUE system (I don't care if the story is real or fake. That DM is just...) so I'm asking again: Are you guys okay with this? If not, that's fine, I'll see if I can fix things or just scrap the campaign all together if I find it impossible to fix.
I know the speed at which the campaign is going is a problem and I'm trying (and failing) to tackle that. I'm not asking about it here.
I say you're doing a great job with introducing such things into the game. If we want to ease it into the system (have a shortlist of "common diseases", then expand after a bit) we could do so. I'm all for trying with houserules. If anything, it adds uniqueness to a campaign ;-)
My concern would be if it starts to interfere too much with the combat rules. In PbP it’s already difficult to obtain full context before declaring an action, but if we don’t have a shared understanding of the rules, then that will get increasingly frustrating.
For RP, I think the disease stuff will add a lot of flavor, so long as there is nothing that will permanently decrease stats or anything like that.
Yeah, I think that as long as it isn't outright unfair and there are plausibly ways to resolve it (even if it means having to abandon the current objective, so long as the option is there), then it'll be fine.

Just realised that the folki Gabby interaction is literally just high school.
Nervously standing next to each other, looking the other direction. "I got you a... a present..." " Thank you...."

I ship it.
Gabby: (Gasp, Folki-senpai noticed me!)
How old is Gabby?
Goblins live to be about 60 and are adults at 8 so I'm guessing she's 9 or 10.
So exactly the same age :)
*Goes over campaign notes.*
*Shipping Intensifies*
Oh, the goblins have some very mature wine that they can use the bottle to launch the ship!
Maybe Gym would like to talk with the Doctor. They both use magic (Alchemy and a few other spells for the doctor) to heal people.

That was my initial interpretation, too. Maybe there's skeletons beneath the floorboards ;-)
so we all agree that Catherine and the guild master have got a sex dungeon?
Also absolutely loving the birds being ******** to eacgother
I... am choosing to remain silent on this matter.
They run a guild, so they're obviously into BDSM... Battles, Diplomacy, Spells, & Magic!
