Ooc: I totally forgot I've got a rope of climbing. Lol I'm just going to use it.

"I feel exposed here at the entrance to a bandit camp, I feel like I've got something for this."

Tommy starts digging through his pack. After a few seconds he slaps his forhead then pulls out a rope.

He whispers a few words and the rope extends up the wall on its own and ties itself to a boulder above. 

"Jetsam you and Muriel go first to secure the top then us more squishy folks head up then Hardin you last protect out butts as we make out way up. What yall think?"

Jetsam nods agreement.

Fiske moves with the group when ready.

Jetsam and Marley make it to the top. Tommy and Fiske next but about halfway up we slip.

Tommy and Fiske need a str save

Fiske strength checke: 16

Tommy and Fiske are both able to grab on to the wall and stop their fall. After a brief second to catch their breath the grab on to the rope and clamber up the rope. The remaining party members climb the rope with no problems. 

The party reassembled Tommy puts his rope away and leads the group up the path. After about 100 yards of hiking nearly stright up the party comes across some trees. 

This seems like a good place for a short rest to catch our breath and tend to our wounds

Tommy graps his wounds then takes a look up the mountain.

"I think we might be just over half way up. I'm guessing the beast's cave is near the summit. It's mid afternoon if we keep this pace I think we can make it just after night fall. Though the climb will get dangerous once the sun goes down. 

Incase it's gets busy wanted to think yall for coming on this revenge quest. Not many would be willing to hunt an copper dragon even with the promise of a equal share of a dragons Hoard."

"Let me know if you need more my friend.  I wouldn't miss this opportunity to best a dragon.  You say revenge as if you fought them before?  Didn't go well?  Can't say I'm surprised.  Dragons are tough and depending on the party's skills you might have been out matched.  Let's hope we fare better this time around.  Anything you can tell us on what to expect?  The more we know the better our odds.  If I know what hurts it the most then I might be able to cast the right stuff.  Anything that won't hurt the creature too.  Knowledge is power my friend and we need power."

Jetsam nods. “You’re a friend, Tommy. Of course I’d help you. Besides,” -He flashes a toothy grin- “I’m not gonna turn down an opportunity to hunt down kin.”

Xan cocks her head at Jetsam, "Say what?  Did you say Kin and you're hunting one of them down?  Why?  I mean is this one a bad one? There must be more to this dragon's tale."

There is more to the story as but he just shrugs. “I’m Dragonborn. Not copper, but still dragonborn. Dragons are kin.”

His was wiped out in a war with a clan of copper Dragonborn. He’s blue Dragonborn, by the way. Killing a copper dragon could in a way be revenge.)
