Brother Coltinar Varoon a priest of light along with his warforge friends watch in facination....Brother Coltinar is a Kalashtar who sometimes might seem as if he's having a conversation on his own. Well, he actually may be doing just that.
A silver haired Kalashtar, 6' 2" with a holy Amulet of Dol Arras around his neck..wearing a chain shirt while carrying on his belts a couple of hand axes are hooked on either side. A backpack, quiver of bolts and light crossbow are visible. He has a couple pouches on his belt and a couple sacks attached to it as well. The light crossbow hooks onto the belt.
He sits with his friends R4G3 and Paladin a pair of warforge.
"Arr, what do you think? I have heard of other races having the ability to change shape. To be able to be so quick. It could be magic too perhaps. What an interesting individual. You both are doing well. It's nice to be out enjoying ourselves. Maybe we can see if there is anything else going on. What about the individual reading he book. Shall we go see if they'd like to join us for a drink or see what they are up to? Ah here they come..."
"Hail strangers...Care to join us for a drink...We saw you and were thinking of having you join us for a drink."
Bryn, Rylia and Braxiel enter at almost the same time in the tavern, The place is small and quite simple by Upper City patterns. Behind the wooden counter you can see an small window that opens onto the kitchen with the lights already off. The young dwarf is carrying a few empty pints as she listens the orders. "Lady, gentlemen, very good evening! Unfortunately, we are almost closing and the kegs are practically empty after this long festival day. But I can get one last round while I finish setting up the tables for tomorrow."
She serves two pints of dark and creamy oatmeal stout ale for Bryn and Rylia, one for Braxiel who is in the other site of the counter, and a pint for Coltiman in the balcony and announces: "This is on the house, congrats professor!"

Rylia had feigned a gasp when Bryn mentioned rain. "No! Oh, what would the rain do to my hair!" She hurries with him into the small tavern.
The woman gives the dwarf waitress a quick smile. "Yea, we know it's late. Just one more ale for the night. It's much appreciated," she says, turning on the charm.
Taking the pint, she then turns at the sound of a new voice calling out from the balcony. Seeing this person's height - more than half a foot taller than she is - her eyes slowly glance upward towards him. "Well! Hello!" she tells him as she examines his outfit and especially the amulet he is wearing. (Religion Check - to see if she recognizes the symbol: 9) "Very good to meet you. Did you enjoy the music and the show?"
Brother Coltinar goes to get his mug saying, "Thank you madam barmaid. Well done on the promotion sir. What is the promotion for? My name is Brother Coltinar and my companions are Paladin and R4G3. Come on over to the balcony we can watch below as we have this evening as we watch you all. We probably won't have much time if the weather gets bad. The music was fantanstic the show was fabulous too."
"My warforge friends are well I'm with...I'm helping them get acquainted with society after the war kind of.. It's my mission to help the warforge after the long war. My calling if you will."
"What of you three...Tell us about yourselves. Have you heard anything interesting of late?"
"I don't know," R4G3 admits to Brother Coltinar, "Though, he is changing clothing, too, not just his skin, right?"
R4G3 offers what they think could be a polite greeting to three figures that their friend just invited. "Very much so," they say praising Rylia and Bryn.

Sorry, I'm beginning to enter a vacation period and while I will try to check-in at least daily, I cannot promise that I will always be able to do so. From September 1, I should be back to normal.
Braxiel nods at the barmaid, "Thank you! Happy to see people still appreciate knowledge." He notices the two minstrels coming in with him and the loud fellow calling out to him. This reminds him of the constant festivals of his childhood house. Now that Braxiel is closer you notice how incredibly tall he is, at a staggering 6'7", yet he moves with elegance and grace. His deep amethyst-like eyes are as stunning as his height, only more enhanced by the contrast of his brown skin.
Walking towards the holy man, Braxiel says, "I have been backed to do field studies for a new doctoral thesis on the mystical arts."
All of you except Paladin and R4G4 are now carrying your drinks. Some of you drink faster than others and everyone starts to, at some way, interact in a friendly manner.
Only Paladin remain a little introverted, although they seems quite excited about the situation. They have already interacted with some of Colimar's friendly brothers, however, they are still not very used to socializing with such different figures.
Curious about the amulet that Coltinar is carrying, Rylia struggles to get a closer glance, but he gestures as he turns to greet Brexiel and she only makes out a circular figure with some kind of vertical lines that somewhat resembles the sun. She recognizes it as the symbol of one of the Sovereigns Host deities, but cannot identify which one.
The Sovereign Host:
The Sovereign Host is the dominant religion of Khorvaire. Worshipers of the Sovereign Host are called Vassals and typically worship the pantheon as a whole rather than the nine deities individually. The Sovereign Host is directly related to the Dark Six, whom the Vassals believe were kicked out of the pantheon for various transgressions in an event referred to as the Schism. Vassals recognize nine sovereigns.
Paladin stands and goes to join everyone at the bar, clanking the whole way over. He walks in slow, careful steps and moves chairs gingerly out of his way, but he has to hunch slightly to avoid hitting the ceiling.
"I'm not precisely sure what that means for you, but it sounds like congratulations are in order, Braxiel. And if you need people to celebrate with, I'm happy to help."
As the barmaid hears Coltimar inviting Bryn, Zylia, and Braxiel to the table outside, and realizes that you've all begun to fraternize with each other don't giving any visible signs that you intent to leave soon, the young Dwarf begins to mutter something. She doesn't seem so nice anymore.
Those with passive perception above 12 hear, "Humpf! Is this time to make new friends?"
You see she approaching and with a visibly forced smile begins to collect the last towels and little lamps from the tables! "Very well, very well! It´s always good to make new friends! But, now it's time to go home! If you want to stretch out at night, I recommend you looking for one of the Galander's establishments, where you will surely find better paid employees that work until late".She says, no longer disguising the somewhat sarcastic tone! And without waiting for an answer she goes inside and a few seconds later appears with a large keychain in her hands and stands next to the door.
//---Whatever you will decide to do now, I need a perception roll---//
R4G3 is received to hear that the day is finally approaching an end and smiles understandingly at the dwarf even though they didn’t hear any of her muttering. On the way to the door, they turned back to see if they’ve forgotten anything.

Rylia had been drinking her ale quickly, knowing from the start the place would be closing. Although, she had lost track of time a bit as all the new faces gathered together. She gulps down the last and sets the mug on the table.
"I am so sorry, being a musician there's often not so much time to grab a drink! We'll get out of your hair and be on our way. You have a lovely place here. I do apologize if we've made you late getting closed up." She quickly slips the gold coin she received earlier while performing down onto the table. "For you service my dear. Coltinar blushes a bit at the verbal barrage due to their rudeness, "Apologies in deed. We were just caught up in the intrigue of friendship building. Here for your troubles. May the blessing of Dol Arras be with you."
Brother Coltinar puts a GP in her hand. "For your troubles kind person."
Almost like a shepherd's dog, Coltinar starts waving his arms as to gather a flock to move outside the establishment, "Ok, Let's be going folks. There is time to chat as we walk my new friends. Where should we be off to now. Paladin and R4G3 excellent interactions."

Bryn perception: 18
Bryn heard the dwarf muttering under her breath and also quickly finishes his ale - it was too good to leave any!! With the others offering profuse apologies, he just follows them out and focuses on the outside. He had been looking for some other work to help him make some fast coins - perhaps this group would know of a job or at least a place to inquire...
While not as tall as Coltinar or even Paladin, R4G3's body is massive, yet they move spryly and clearly unhindered by their sheer bulk of seemingly crudely patched platings. They nod to Coltinar in gratitude for his compliment and leave the tavern without further ado.

Rylia's apology, accompanied by the gold coin, almost brought her sympathy back to the surface. Her face is plastered with a sincere smile that opens even more with the other coin receive from Coltinar'! "Thank you beautiful girl! Thank you, Brother!, she says, addressing Ryliaand Coltinarwhom she clearly recognized as a follower of the Sovereigns! So, after leaving the Tavern you start walking west, the only possible way, as the other side is still blocked by the festival structures built by the City Council.
Curtains of water fall from the sky as you traverse the labyrinthine walkways of Sharn. The stone and wooden paths wind around and between the towers and spires high above the ground, forming a complex latticework that can be very confusing on evenings such as this. The rain falls hard, running off higher walkways and balconies in drenching waves, making it difficult to see much more than a few feet ahead of you. The distant glow of everbright lanterns, barely visible in the soaking gloom, does little to light the paths on this warm, wet evening.
Bryn carries on little conversations as they walk in the rain, learning what he can about his new companions. He talks about his family and how they were separated during the War, about meeting Rylia and the symbiotic partnership they had developed over the past several months. He is cryptic when answering any questions about how he could his show and changing his appearance, winking and saying something off-hand about how a good performer never reveals their secrets.
But all the while he walks close to the female performer - subconsciously wanting to be near an ally if trouble found them in the dark, wet streets of the City of Towers.
