You take your keys and follow the last corridor in search of your rooms. Coltinar and Braxiel who took the blue keys go ahead and Coltinar soon finds their door on the right side. Paladin and Arr were so distracted that they only realized they were going to share the room when they arrived together at the same door with the orange lock, right after Coltinar and Braxiel's door. Rylia and Bryn followed excitedly and soon discovered the green lock on the door on the left at the end of the hall, almost opposite their Warforged friends' room.
As you step into this comfortable double room, you are immediately greeted by a magical aura that fills the space. The walls are painted in soft shades of silver mixing the color of your key card, and small floating crystals emit a gentle, soothing light.
Enjoy the room
The rooms don't have a balcony, but they have big windows and, considering that the tarvern is on the top floor of the building, they have a nice view of the city. Coltinar, Braxiel, Arr, and Paladin would even be able to see the Hilt River in the distance if it hadn't already been night.
There are two spacious and plush beds, with high-quality sheets that seem to subtly change colors, creating an ethereal effect. Beside each bed, a nightstand holds a small crystal globe that lights up with a touch, allowing you to adjust the brightness according to your preference. Two cupboards in front of the bed have doors that lock with a key, making them a safe place to store whatever you need. On the ceiling, a mobile of twinkling stars appears to dance softly, and as the night already comes, you notice that the stars actually begin to shine brightly, as if mirroring the movement of the celestial sky.
An enchanted mirror on the wall reflects the image of the guests with a subtle glow, enhancing their natural beauty. A small fireplace in the corner of the room emits a comforting warmth, but as you approach, you realize there's no wood burning, but a magic flame instead. In another corner of the room, a small work desk is equipped with a set of enchanted parchment and quills. As you write, you notice the words come to life, dancing in colorful ink before settling on the paper and you can make animated and funny notes.
The bathroom is an experience in itself, with running water that changes temperature as you feel hot or cold and towels warmed by enchantment, offering the utmost comfort after a long day of adventures. Once in the bathroom, while you are refreshing yourselves your clothes become clean, fresh, and with nice scents.
Rylia and Bryn, in particular, will notice several things that they could not see in the room where they were when they arrived unconscious.
Between the beds, you will find a small table with some delightful treats and snacks
Enjoy the snacks
A selection of small, delectable truffles with various flavors like rich dark chocolate, creamy caramel, and tangy raspberry. Delicate buttery cookies shaped like stars A bowl of popcorn that never seem to run out, regardless of how much you munch on them. You can choose from a variety of flavors, including classic butter, caramel, and cheddar cheese. A delightful assortment of candies in various shapes and colors, resembling stars, moons, and other celestial objects. A mix of nuts, dried fruits, and chocolate in a blend that provides the perfect balance of sweet and savory. Two jars of tea and soda that also never run out

When they are alone in the room before dinner, Bryn takes Rylia by the hand and leads her to the enchanted mirror. He talks to her reflection, so he can say what he needs to without actually looking in her eyes. "Rylia, I have something I need to tell you, and then show you. I've kept a secret from you and everyone for as long as we've known each other, but I really like you and I want you to know everything about me." He stops to take a deep, steadying breath and to glance at her face in the reflection to make sure she is ready.
"I'm not really half-elven. And I'm better at disguises than you might even know. Because I'm actually a changeling."Bryn's face shifts to look like a human baker they knew from the old street, then to a female dwarf who worked at a blacksmith shop, then to Brother Coltinar, then to Skyryn, and finally to Bryn's actual appearance - his face appears pale and faded, his features almost devoid of detail. He held each face for a few moments before morphing into the next, and his voice changes to match each person. He shifts back to his normal face, then opens his belt pouch and pulls out a set of lockpicking tools, rummages into his backpack to pull out a good disguise kit, and finally points to the dagger hidden in his boot. "I'm also more of a thief than a performer, but I swear I never picked any pockets while you were performing! I would never risk hurting you or damaging your reputation like that."He holds up a gold coin between two fingers, makes a flourish, and tries to perform a simple trick to make the coin 'disappear.' (Sleight of hand:10)"Ahh, not my best, but you make my hands shake a little on a good day, and I'm nervous that you won't like me now that you know my secret. I don't want the others to know yet that I can look like anybody, or that I'm not what I look like..." he trails off and turns to look directly at her, holding his breath as he waits for a response.
Bryn grins at Rylia. "Well, since we slept together here last night, I'm up for a repeat."rim shot!"But seriously, we make a good pair. We should stick together.."
Rylia briefly gives Bryn a harsh stare, with a wide grin as well. The harsh look fades quickly. "Yes, we should stick together. We do make a good pair!"
Once the rest of the party heads to their respective rooms, Bryn will offer Rylia the first turn in the bath. "You have a big chance tonight, playing here in front of these muckity-mucks. It's your show, and you're the only star they should see. You let me know how I can help your performance - and I won't feel bad just sitting at our table and clapping loudly for you!"
Rylia's face drops for a moment, though she tries to quickly replace it with a happy smile. "How you can help? Well of course you're not going to just sit at the table!" To be honest, since Savine had mentioned performing, she had only thought of playing herself. It wasn't that she didn't want to include Bryn, she'd just... kind of forgot! "We can play a couple of the pieces that we usually do to start. I think maybe I have a nice solo piece I could play. Then we'll finish off with that our new piece about the attack on the bridge."
She pauses suddenly, her face lighting up. "Oh! Oh! A thought occurred to me!" She's almost jumping up and down in excitement, placing her hands on Bryn's shoulders. "Maybe it will just be the first part of a much grander performance piece. Each section could tell of the adventures of you and I as we go on grand adventures! Does that just sound amazing?"
"I should take a bath, get dressed." She glances around the room. "Hmm, wonder what happened to my rain-soaked clothes from last night? Guess I left them in the other room." She then looks at what she's wearing. "I guess this will work though." She once again spins about, just as she had when first trying on the skirt. Ending just below the knee, the skirt flares out a bit as she spins. She giggles a bit, "That's kinda fun! Ok, bath!" She heads off towards the bathroom with a little hop.
Later, when she's dressed once again in the same clothes she was wearing earlier, she is a bit surprised as Bryn leads her over to the mirror. 'What is he up to?' she wonders, as she gives him a slight smile. Her mind grasps onto different words as he begins. 'He has something to tell me? Show me? A secret? What secret could he have? He really likes me? Did he just say he likes me?'All these thoughts are flying through her head, filling Rylia with excitement. She watches Bryn intently as she holds on to the last a bit as he continues on, so it takes just a moment for "changeling" to sink in.
Rylia stays quiet for a rather long moment. "A changeling and a thief?" she says cautiously. Extrapolating from the litlte she's heard of changelings, she adds, "You are some sort of con man?" Without even really thinking about it she takes a step back from the mirror and from Bryn. She is honestly quite fascinated by the appearance changes - almost as if by magic. Though she had to admit, it was better than magic. Her eyes drift to the floor as she tries to process all the information. 'Is he trying to trick me? But no. If he was, he wouldn't be telling me.'
Finally she looks back at up Bryn - directly at him, not in any mirror. She gives him a smile and then steps forward and wraps her arms around him, giving him a brief hug. "You might say you're not really a performer. But I say you are, a rather fine performer." Releasing him from the hug, Rylia's smile turns to a grin. "So I make you shake a bit, do I? Whatever about me would make you do that!"
"Once in the bathroom, while you are refreshing yourselves your clothes become clean, fresh, and with nice scents." I understand that Bryn and Rylia took some clothes from their apartments in the morning, As well the others can have some pair of clothes in their bags if you want to change it. If you didn´t yet, please Let me know how you are dressed including your exposed body parts---//
Bryn finally breathes again, a huge release of the anxious worry that Rylia would reject him for being a changeling. He holds her in the hug for that moment, for that eternity, and revels in the feel of her against him and the smell of her clean hair and skin.
In response to her teasing question about why he was a little shaky around her, he could only grin like a love-struck boy (because, well, that's what he was...), motion towards Rylia from head to toe and back again, and say, "Well...everything!" And then his face flushed, and he rapidly made an excuse about getting washed up before their dinner and performance.
After a quick refresh, he came out of the bathroom feeling more alive than ever. He tucked his backpack, bow, quiver, and rapier into the locked closet by his bed. He kept his leathers on under his fine clothes (which were suitable for dinner parties and performing!) as well as both daggers (one on his hip, and one hidden in his boot.) In his belt pouch were the thieves' tools and a small bag of little metal spheres. He also kept his coins in several hidden pockets and pouches about his body. This left Bryn's face and hands exposed, but everything else was covered. He didn't like performing with the leather armor under his clothes, but the events of the past day and a half made him think this was the wiser choice. Besides, with the new song about Rylia and Bryn's epic adventures, the armor would be a nice costume selection!
Rylia is dressed much as she had been most the day. She has a blue skirt which comes down just barely past her knee and a grey linen shirt, with the top couple of buttons left undone. On her feet are simple, comfortable soft leather shoes. The shirt leaves her forearms bare, while the shirt leaves her lower legs bare. The shirt also reveals just a tiny bit of cleavage.
While Bryn goes to wash up, she gets out her viol and works through the ideas for their new music while practicing through some other pieces as well. She's still at it when he returns.
When it is time to go, and when Bryn is ready, Rylia heads out with just her viol in its case and her blue crystal hung about her neck. Her pack and other belongings she locks into the appropriate closet.
As you step into the salon, Savine escorts you to a table further to the right. Although slightly off-centre, it offers a great view of the stage, and it is one of the few that can comfortably accommodate your group of six.
With a warm smile, Savine introduces you to a young and charming male half-elf "Welcome again," she says, "I hope you find this table to your liking. This is Cetus, who will be attending to you tonight. You just need to touch one of your keycards and he will come. The house will be a bustling crowd, however, if you need my personal attention for any matter, please don't hesitate to call upon me. Cetus certainly will be able to find me."
As Savine makes this introduction, Cetus gracefully presents each of you with elegantly designed menus. "It´s a pleasure to serve you." Cetus, says. "You Sirs will find good options for you in the menu. I´ll let you choose." He add turning to Paladin and Arr. Their gestures are coordinated as if they have perfected the art of hospitality of Ghallanda House.

Arr parse the menu curiously. “We’re glad we don’t need to choose. How do you know if you like something before you order it?” They ask and putting the menu down. They simply relax and sit back in their chair having a good look over the room where they will have dinner and experience the show. Not having much choice in their wardrobe, they simply wear their traveling clothes, rugged, heavy cloth trousers with several pockets and a vest with plenty of pockets, too. Both, pants and vest, hang down loosely as they left near everything in their room. “This place is really strange,” they conclude their observation of the hall, “The beds in our room are three times bigger than what they have in the shelter, and next to each other instead of stacked. Seems such a veritable waste of space. And we don’t normally rest in a bed, a corner where we don’t bother no one would be enough. Here more of the same in this huge hall. We don’t think we could ever pay for something like this establishment, and we wonder who does,” they say and decide to observe the clientele instead of sampling the food offer.
(Reading your description of rooms I was getting jealous of my character! Would love to stay a few days there myself. Then the menu, what treats! I surely am at the wrong side in this fantasy…)

Sorry, I'm beginning to enter a vacation period and while I will try to check-in at least daily, I cannot promise that I will always be able to do so. From September 1, I should be back to normal.
Arr, distracted thinking about the waste of space and also about all the facilities in this Inn, didn´t see that the last part of the menu has options dedicated to warforgeds.
While choosing you can feel that the mood in the tavern is cozy and inviting, with soft lights that create a warm atmosphere. The dark wood-made walls are adorned with colorful tapestries and paintings depicting scenes of adventure and festivities which those attuned with the detect magic skill may perceive that most of them are illusions. The wooden tables and chairs are arranged neatly, filling up the space while leaving enough room for people to move around freely.
Looking around you can see Elves, humans, dwarves, gnomes, and other races occupying the seats, engaging in lively conversations amidst laughter and toasts. Next to your table a couple of draconates dressing nice robes with geometric patterns make comparisons about the night before when they were in the entertainment district in the lower part of the city.
The attires seems varies according to the patrons' backgrounds. There are some people who showcase elegant outfits, with fine fabrics and intricate details, reflecting grace and refinement. There are others, also in fine clothes but dressing more practically, some even in travel-worn clothes, while others don festive attires instead. There is a table with an animated group of Dwarves and gnomes wearing clothes with touches of ornamentation representing kind of cultural origins, that seems being celebrating something.
Bryn examines the extensive menu and announces to the group, "We can't stay here too many days...or I will look like a loxodon!" He laughs, but orders the Gnomish Firecracker Shrimp to start, followed by the Kraken Calamari and a glass of the Zilargo Zephyr, with some water on the side. And, as if to dare his lament to come true, he asks for the Magical Molten Chocolate Cake as dessert! "Thank you, Cetus!"
Rylia gives Cetus a big smile as he is introduced. "It's wonderful to meet you. I'm sure we're quite fortunate to have you waiting on us!"
She slips into once of the chairs looking over the menu. "My goodness! This is way too much wonderful food!" She continues to give the menu a long look, interrupted by Arr's comment. "But you really must choose. Look! There are options for you! It says, 'because not solely of flesh and blood live our existence'" She says this last in a firm, dramatic voice."If you aren't familiar with anything, just try something! It's fun!"
Rylia then goes back to trying to make her own choice. She finally nudges Bryn. "Look I can't pass up the Firecracker Shrimp, so I'm ordering my own. But could I maybe just taste a tiny bit of your Calamari? You're welcome to taste anything of mine," she says in a pleading voice, looking at Bryn wide-eyed with hope.
Returning one again to the menu, she adds. "I think I'll probably get the Halfling's Herb-Stuffed Roast Chicken and a Gnomish Tinkerer's Tonic. That's probably all I'll be able to handle!"
Brother Coltinar links to Savine mentally, "My kind regards Savine. Please let Lady Elaydren we are very appreciative.."
Brother leaves the conection long enough for a response and bid a good evening to Savine.
"Good evening Cetus. I am Brother Coltinar. I'd like to start with an aperitif of elven elixer please.
Elven Greenleaf Salad - Freshly picked greens from the Trolanport gardens, drizzled with honeyed vinaigrette and sprinkled with enchanted nuts. (8 sp),
followed by the Dragonborn Flame-Grilled Steak - A succulent cut of beef, marinated in Dragon's Breath hot sauce, and flame-grilled to perfection. Served with roasted potatoes and seasonal vegetables. (18 sp),
Pixie's Delight - A selection of enchanted pastries with various fillings like honeyed apples, celestial berries, and ambrosia cream. (2 gp),
and a Digestif of the Zilargo Zephyr - A smooth and aromatic brandy from Zilargo, served neat or on the rocks. (3 gp)
Please good sir."
After ordering Brother Coltinar does a meal prayer, "If anyone would like to join to bless the meal to Dol Arras you are welcome to."
Brother Coltinar will perform a small blessing in Dol Arras' honor prior to the meal with any who wish to join.
"Dol Arras please bless this meal for all tonight. Please shine light on our evening. Dol Arras be praised."
Brother Coltinar takes in the crowd and simply makes note of any interesting persons. Forms links to any that would warrant such. Lady Elaydren, Skyrym for sure.

Rylia would join along with Brother Coltinar's prayer. At the end she adds, "And honor to all the Sovreigns, may Ollandra bless me in my performance tonight."
"Thank you, Master!" Savine responds to Coltinar, a bit taken aback by the link, but soon regaining her usual sympathy. "I will carry your regards to Lady Elaydren when I see her, although it is not so usual see her around here."
"Lady Elaydren is a great client and also a nice friend of our house, and friends of hers are our friends too." Savine is speaking to everyone when someone calls her. He is an old halfling with a full, gray beard and mustache, neatly trimmed and matching by medium shaggy, equally gray hair, who stands behind the stage. "Excuse me, I need to go. Your accommodation includes dinner, a drink, and the show… And the breakfast tomorrow. You only need to pay for extra drinks, if you have any. So, I hope you enjoy your night." Savine says, making a move to leave, "they need me to prepare for the show."
Paladin turns away the offers of pleasurable consumption as politely as he's able with as little show as possible.
He is distracted, and stares at people as though he isn't actually seeing them. But he's happy to see the others enjoying themselves, so he watches them enjoy
Brother Coltinar says to his friends, "This is a time to enjoy ourselves and take in the joys of entertainment and social gatherings. Arr and Paladin this is an opportunity to see social interactions and formulate your own thoughts on them.
I will point out that not all interactions may be pleasant. Creatures often have misunderstanding when they aren't familiar with different social cues. All creatures may find things unpleasant fi they are not done properly. Food cooked incorrectly or served poorly. The response should be tempered with the infraction to one's situation.
Physical or harmful reactions should be avoided unless the situation calls for more drastic measures. Avoiding conflict is most often the best response. As you experience more you will develop your own responses. I encourage you to pause your response and think about your actions. Most civilized places have laws that we must factor into our responses too.
You just can go around beating up people that offend you for example. You should walk away and find another way. If they hit you first then you have the right to defend yourself. Enough of this for now. Let's enjoy the show."
As you have dinner you can see some movement on stage. The stage is well-lit which is aligned in the center of the back of the main salon. It is of moderate size, raised a few steps above the floor. For now, you can only see the edges which are adorned with intertwined ivy leaves and magical lights that change color, creating a charming effect. The main part is hidden behind a curtain.
A bit less than one hour passed when Cetus came to the table to call Rylia to get prepared and lead her behind the stage.
Rylia now can see that the beautiful red velvet curtain closed in the center of the stage is hiding a golden carpet with intricate patterns that adds a touch of elegance to the performance area.
In the tavern, an air of anticipation and curiosity fills the atmosphere.
The old male halfling that calls Savine displays a set of musical instruments, such as Drums, lutes and flutes, neatly arranged in a corner of the stage and covering it with a kind of mantle of invisibility. "Hi, I´m Ernest. The stage is yours for the opening. These instruments will not disturb you. Take your place and just give me a sight when you are ready and I´ll open the curtains. We have a bench on the stage. You can seat or stays stand as you wish”.

Love God. Love Others. Any Questions?

Braxiel will pay for dinner for everyone!

It says, 'because not solely of flesh and blood live our existence'" She says this last in a firm, dramatic voice. "If you aren't familiar with anything, just try something!

"Thank you, Master!"
Savine responds to Coltinar, a bit taken aback by the link, but soon regaining her usual sympathy.

Paladin - warforged - orange
