Brother Coltinar see Paladin whispers, "Over here, glad you could make it. I trust your evening was uneventful and you are rested?" Brother Coltinar see the acolyte waving them down, "Oh, it must be time to see the high priest my friends."
Brother Coltinar thinks, "Sometimes his palms sweat when he gets anxious at the prospect of dealing with superior clergy in the temple hierarchy. My piety sometimes leads me to blindly trust those that profess faith in my god. I need to be more cautious and observant of all and not just blindly trust those of my faith."
Brother Coltinar and his two new warforged friends head towards the main building.
At the entrance, a small group of priests and brothers who seem to be disturbed and protest for some reason that it is not possible to notice from the distance where they are, below the stairs of about ten steps that lead to the reception.
At the top of the stairs, in a large anteroom, a big dark wood table, illuminated by the beautiful and imposing golden chandelier with dozens of small lamps. Standing behind the table is a deacon, half-elf, talking politely to a Bishop. It seems to be apologizing for something.
The bishop leaves with quick, brisk steps and an unfriendly face, and the Deacon turns his attention to the small turmoil in front of him.
"Brothers, I have already informed you that there will be no audiences with the High Priestess today. Your protests will not make her materializing in front of you, but I assure that will make me annoyed and in a bad mood while I'm treating your requests." Said the half-elf , now with a tone not as polite as the one he was using with the bishop.
Faced with the veiled threat, the group ahead of Coltinar, Paladin and R4G3 begins to disperse amidst grumbling, until they reach the large reception desk.
Seeing that they haven't left with the others and are still approaching, the deacon asks without looking up from the pile of paper he is checking.
Brother Coltinar bows to the Deacon, "We are requesting an audience with the High Priestess, but we now realize she is not available. We have information for the Temple of Light that we witnessed last night we feel needs to be brought into the light. The city watch was involved. We felt it would be wise to inform the senior clergy of the situation so the matter gets the appropriate attention the High priestess feels it should get. I do not wish to trouble you as I can see you are busy with important matter of your own. May the wisdom of light be with you."
Brother Coltinar bows and waits for the Deacon to work through his thought process on how to handle this new situation.

"Well, the high priestess is not available as you already know, but you can tell me in advance what you witnessed and I see if there is something we can do." Says the Deacon, stopping his hands over the papers and rising his glance to that trio.
Paladin starts looking a bit confused and whispers to R4G3 "Is this the person who can help us get you some identity papers? I assumed our business with the murder last night was finished. Afterall, we killed the assassin and informed the authorities, who took control of the situation. Ours is now to move on, to other adventures, as this one is clearly wrapped up. Finished. Onward, to our next adventure! All that."
Paladin rambles, getting louder as he goes on and seems to enjoy the sound of his own voice, talking like he's telling a dramatic adventure tale. He starts swinging his arms like he's slaying evil with an imaginary sword.
seeing the movements of that big warforged, the deacon looks away at Paladin. "Are you all right, sir? Did you also witness something last night that want to share?"
Ignorant of the deacon’s question, R4G3 replies in a normal voice to Paladin, “I thought we were here to report last night’s incident and ask for employment for me. I thought the papers I would get somewhere else, but I don’t know where. Perhaps you’re right and they can give me papers here and make me a citizen.”
Sorry, I'm beginning to enter a vacation period and while I will try to check-in at least daily, I cannot promise that I will always be able to do so. From September 1, I should be back to normal.
"I was witness to R4G3's heroics, sir! A dastardly assassin in the street was caught AND killed! None of which would've been possible with this citizen of the world, but he'd like to be officially identified as a citizen of Sharn if you can help...?" Paladin puts his hands on his hips, like 'of course this will happen.'
Bryn finishes his morning rituals, allowing Rylia her privacy and time. He does inform her of what he discovered, and asks, "Isn't the Broken Anvil Inn the place we were supposed to meet that contact? The one the second mysterious stranger told us about? When you're done, let's head out and thank the folks who rescued us."
He lets out a low sigh and almost smiles in a way that's not possible to assure whether it reflects sympathy or impatience.
"I'm a little confused today and I am not sure if I understand very well what's your request. So, let me repeat"
You've come to the holy temple of Dol Arrah looking for some inspector of the Watch to state about one more act of violence in this disturbing world." He says looking towards Coltinar.
"You came to tell to Her Holiness how brave your heroic friend, citizen of the world, is because he... Killed someone, which is a crime, but I suppose that this is a minor detail" he continues pointing to Paladin.
Then turning to R4G3: "And you want an employment but need some document, which seems the less werd request, if I may say..."
And you all want an audience with the high priestess for this? he asks but sounding more like an affirmation.
"That's really interesting!" and he smiles, still with an enigmatic tone.
"Did I get all correctly?" He asks, and before your answer, he stamps three sheets of paper giving one to each of you.
"Anyway, it doesn't matter. Fill these forms with your requests and we will forward them accordingly. One form for each request, please. Let me know if you need more" And then the half-Elf turns his eyes back to his papers.
Paladin holds the paper in his enormous hand as gently as he can. "The first of many trials, and most challenging... My hands are not terribly well equipped for penmanship, and I don't think yours appear to be, either R4G3. But we shall persevere."
“That wasn’t too hard. Now I have papers, thank you, Sir,” Arr holds the paper ridiculously delicate with his metal hand. “The employment has still time until we get an audience. We should probably go to that tavern and meet with our new friends and that stranger and find out what happened last night.”

Brother Coltinar responds politely, "Well the fact that the victim is a professor who was carrying a book with the mark of the maker on it and probably someone in the House Canith hierarchy with a book that a friend of ours is most like safeguarding might be of interest to the High Priestess. As for the other things, We were since we might get an audience see if there might be some employment opportunities for Arr here and the papers we were going to go get at the administrations building later after our visit here."
Brother Coltinar thanks the Deacon for the paperwork...Let me clarify what the paperwork is for if I may. Employment, citizenship or to request a meeting with the High Priest?"

"Oh, sure! You can make any request you want, just indicate what you need and give some quick justification to help understand and analyse your needs. In one week you can back here to see if we already have some response. Sometimes, it takes time... We receive many requests dayly, but we always try to attend as soon as we can."
"I will note that you want an audience, so, you can talk with the High Priestess if she be available when you come back."
In that point, the Deacon seems a bit more polite, and sounds as honest as he can, but you realize that there is a high level of burocracy to ordinary people to follow.
