Elsara looks around at the new scenery. "This place looks nice." She comments as she is enjoying the country air.
When the group meets up with Gabby, she waves. "Hi there!" She says warmly. "The commander seemed happy with your letter. I helped clean up and look after stuff, so it all looks okay now."
"With us?" Elsara says. "Whatever for? Wouldn't you like to go back to see Commander Evans and the others?" She then seems to think something over. "Why don't you feel safe here?"
"The thing is..." Gabby pauses before continuing, "You see... most of the villages, as per the agreement are tolerating our presence until we prove ourselves. This is good. But there are a few villagers who still think we'd be better off dead. I am worried they would kill me if you guys left. If I die, the other villagers will also go back to being hostile to the goblins." She then looks up at you with some hope, "But even if I am in a different city, if I maintain regular correspondence with The Father and the Commander, this trade deal will still hold. I... I'm sure any guild adventurer's like you are a part of will not want to kill me."
She says, "I... asked the commander if it would be okay if... I was in a different human city. I could maintain trade agreement through letters and I could also send him tools through the post. The postmen doesn't seem to care we are goblins and send our letters and packages regardless."
Gabby rubs the back of her head and says, "To be clear... I don't mean to be a burden on every future quest you go on. I just wish to stay near your guild. I believe any guild that you guys belong to won't attack me on sight."
"Well we're kinda new to the guild, but we can tell them all about you, Gabby." Elsara says. "Unfortunately I think people still stick to story archetypes if they haven't met someone... I know I was like that before meeting everyone here."
"That doesn't me it won't work." Elsara says. "I bet the others were just on edge because you'd actually raided them in the past. I'm sure the town of Sydil will be much more accepting to newcomers. And we'll be there so if there's any issues we can help sort them out." Elsara smiles sweetly at Gabby.
"Right then, so we escort Gabby back with us and then see what other jobs we can pick up when we get back. Maybe a less complicated one next time." Skriiod says in jest

“Now we head back to the guild in Sydil.”

"Oh um..." Gabby looks down. "Can you... Take me with you... Please? I... I don't feel safe here."

"Would you want to discuss this with The Commander?" Elsara asks. "Was that in the letter you sent him?"
She says, "I... asked the commander if it would be okay if... I was in a different human city. I could maintain trade agreement through letters and I could also send him tools through the post. The postmen doesn't seem to care we are goblins and send our letters and packages regardless."
"Oh, well I don't mind." Elsara looks to the others. "Anyone else have any questions or objections?"
"I think we could do with another brave warrior in our group" Folki says with a beaming smile
“The pack will be stronger with another member. “ says Val.

(DM: Anyone else want to say anything in this?)
"Well we're kinda new to the guild, but we can tell them all about you, Gabby." Elsara says. "Unfortunately I think people still stick to story archetypes if they haven't met someone... I know I was like that before meeting everyone here."
"Yes that is true..." She trails off, not knowing what to say.
"That doesn't me it won't work." Elsara says. "I bet the others were just on edge because you'd actually raided them in the past. I'm sure the town of Sydil will be much more accepting to newcomers. Gabby smiles back.
(I'm just going to wait for other player input on the situation. As far as Elsara is concerned, it's settled; new companion get!)
“Alright then, so Gabby will join us for the trip to Sydil.” Gendan is visibly ready, anxious even, to hit the road.

Alright. I assume during the trip, Folki and Val will gather food (They did it when you first got here.).

You guys won't need to spend any rations.
