Just posting what the scene is like after you finish your rest.
Summer-18 Time: 5:10 PM
The sun has leaned further toward the western sky and the trees begin to cast long shadows across the golden road that is decorated with burgundy blood. A murder of crows have descended on the bandit corpses and are pecking it. Their ominous caws fill the early evening air. The party sits in the glade. Short twinkles of faint blue light can be seen coming from the magical grass deeper in the forest. It is yet another signal that it will be night soon.
"Oh, eww... eww..." Elsara says upon seeing the crows feasting on entrails. She attempts to scare them off with a shower of sparks and wafting on hands, then looks to the group. "Maybe we should bury them? They were baddies, but they were still people."
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Moving on...
I assume Gendan will search the bodies but in case she doesn't, I'm just going to write the stuff on my private notes and tell Gendan's player when he gets back. For now, I assume Val doesn't go hunting. So I need all of you to spend one day's worth of rations each.
For the rest of the trip, Val: 11 Folki: 16
You don't need to spend anymore rations for the rest of the trip. (Still need to use a day's worth for the 18th though)
Elsara will want to give them a burial, even if it will take a little while. She knows she's being possibly irritable now, demanding to bury those who tried to kill then and forcing them to bring the sheep with them (speaking of which, do you require us to do anything to herd them back up?). Beyond that, she will follow with the others to get back on track and head along the path, keeping her eyes out for any other suspicious things.
You guys don't need to use Rations for the rest of the trip back.
Summer 23 (18 ---> 23) Time: 9:00 PM
It is night when you reach Sydil. The sky is mostly clear except for the odd cloud. The moon looks lopsided as it will be a half-moon two days from now. The town is enveloped in darkness and mostly quiet. Most of the people have gone to bed about an hour ago. The only building still lit is the bar, The Cider House, which is located in the south east section of town. If you get closer, you can smell the fragrance of alcohol and the sounds of revelry.
Missed Elsara's post. If you bury them, you will reach at a different time.
It is morning and the mild morning sun can be seen in the eastern sky. Most of the towns folk have woken up and are heading to the fields to work. You notice a few of the earlier folk watering the crops on your way to town. Their fields are located in the area surrounding Sydil. In the town itself, men and women stride across the streets to get water. The shopkeepers are getting ready to open their shops. They will start the day's business any minute now. The blacksmith can be seen in his lawn, cleaning his tools. The teachers of the school are cleaning the building and preparing their lessons. The children are still asleep but will get up for school in about an hour. The large building of the Guild looms over the town form its hilltop location.
"I suppose we head back to the guild to report the mission now, eh?" Gym looked back at the others in the group. He was fairly certain that that was the course of action but wanted to be certain what the others thought first.

Elsara will have most likely named each of the sheep as they were travelling, telling them about they'll be joining some new farm soon (hopefully).
"Okay, umm... It's probably bad to march the sheep into the main building." Elsara says. "Maybe we should try and find somewhere to keep them first? I don't mind waiting outside with them, but I want to talk to Mister Sweetcane about the magic because I have a hypothesis about the nature of the incident."
"Well yeah, sheep in the buildin' would be a bad idea, but I wouldn't be surprised if the guild has a small holdin' pen or at least somethin' they can set up temporarily."

"They should have somewhere like the stables maybe?" Estela suggests. "I mean, there are pegasi in there, and..." She begins to drift off in comment as her headspace clouds over. "So yeah, stables..."
(Once again I missed the day’s worth posting ;) sorry! If we can retcon this is ok, if not, it’s ok too)
Val, now in elf form, will stop Elsara try to spook the ravens.
“Let them be. They are just eating as you did from the dead corpse of the deer last night. They need food and strength for their own children “ he says “I thought you loved animals, or was just the cute ones?” He asks with curiosity.
( This could let the rest loot the corpses if desired. And yes He will go hunting as usual :) )
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
(It can be retconed. I still think Elsara will try to bury the corpses though so you still reach Sydil at around the same time)
Val goes hunting and... 21
Retcon the ration usage. If you have removed a day's worth of rations from your character sheet according to post 1868, then re add one day's worth back to your character sheet.
"What? No, it's just..." Elsara points at the ravens. "They're eating them. They don't deserve that."
Regardless, Elsara will still want them to be buried, meaning that the others have chance to loot them while the shallow graves are being dug.
(Back to now)
Elsara attempts to lead the sheep towards the stables where the pegasi were and find a place to put them (possibly an empty paddock). She'll then look for some hay to feed them if there is a feeder nearby to do so.
(Folki is completely out of it, probably sleeping with his new greatsword tight in his grasp)

Quick question: Will Val go hunting for food today? If not, everyone will have to use 1 day's worth of rations.

(I was waiting to see if anyone was going to loot or say no to burying the bandits)
Elsara will still be trying to herd the sheep. "Come on sheepies, we're almost there now."
The sheep are chill. Elsara doesn't have any problems herding them.
Elsara will have most likely named each of the sheep as they were travelling, telling them about they'll be joining some new farm soon (hopefully).

Elsara finds the stables and the pegasi.
(I thought we went there to get to the carriage that gave us a shortcut.)
