Folki opens a door and sees tall black haired girl in the middle of changing. The girl screams and Folki promptly gets punched in the face for 1 damage. The door closes. A few other doors open and more people peek their head out to see what the commotion is about. The red haired woman says, "Er. He's upstairs. 2nd room on the left."
"Sorry..." Folki clutches the side of his face with one hand (assuming she when for the soft fleshy bit rather than the rock hard beak?)
When he hears the directions he dives for the stairs, trying to flap to speed himself up to the next floor but his wings are just getting in the way and bumping into the walls. Eventually he gets to the 2nd door on the left and bursts in
Elsara looks around, her face showing a look of childish glee as she sees the sword juggler, the cage of exotic reptiles, and other people around. After a few seconds, she looks to where Folki is headed. "Hey, wait up!" She calls after him, running as fast as she can after him with a spring in her step. Seeing him burst open doors, she shouts out. "Folki, you're meant to knock first. It's rude!"
Elsara, while running, and looking at the cages (the reptiles are treated more like horses than a show creature so they aren't in the cages), one thing will catch her eye. A huge spider with long thick legs. It is as large as a young dragon of legend. (15ft x 15ft). Whether or not she'll stop at this beast is up to her.
Folki, you run up the stairs and open the door. You see A Kenku with a mask. You get very angry and disappointed before noticing you opened the 3rd door on the right instead of the 2nd one. You go to the second door and sure enough, is a male bird man (I like calling them that) with a bandaged wing. He is covered in scars. He is asleep. He has brown feathers covering his body and white feathers covering his chest. The brown feathers have a few black spots on them (natural). He has a bright yellow beak with a black border.
Elsara skids to a halt midway through her pursuit of Folki (I swear she's ended up with ADD after all this). She looks to the spider, sizing it up in comparison to the other giant spider she has seen. "Wow... That spider's amazing..." She says quietly as she slowly advances towards the cage to look at it.
(Guess I'll make some random lore checks in case she can work things out about it)
DM: The spider is a homebrew one I made because I like Giant Spiders but DnD has a lack of them.
Elsara knows the following (Because of her great roll) in addition to another fact (ask any one question about the spider to me and I will answer it)
Disclaimer: CR is a placeholder. Instead of a pinned down CR, it represents the range: 5-7 (I have trouble pinning down CR so I use the middle number in an estimated range. The final CR is put after it has seen combat testing)
Description: You thought Giant Spiders were bad? Meet the Hercules Spider. They are usually found in mountain caves. They can grow up to be even bigger than some dragons. They are usually solitary hunters. Their poison is more slow acting than that of a giant spider. Though the Hercules Spider can create web, they lack the ability to shoot it. This means the spider can set up web traps but it can't use it's webbing during combat.
(I think Elsara will probably have read about them, so the additional piece of information would be the known habitats & locations of where the Hercules Spider come from.)
Elsara doesn't go directly up to the bars (they're there for a reason), but watches it from about 10 feet away with awe. "I've never seen one up and close before..." She says to herself, seemingly forgetting that there are circus folk around and hasn't introduced herself yet. (If it were a cartoon, she'd have big shiny eyes right now.)
The Hercules Spider mainly inhabits caves in high mountains. However, they can also be seen in grasslands, light forests and hills. They are solitary hunters. They make nests out of their webs for shelter rather than traps. These nests are almost always in caves, pits or in trees.
(Oh right! Forgot to write that, @Folki.)
You recognize the bird. He is much younger than Folki, being only 4. However, you recognize him as Cyrus. You remember spending time with him when he was still a kid.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Elsara seems to just be inspecting the hercules spider with morbid curiosity, going through the mental recollection of the textbooks she's read on such creatures. Does the spider look healthy in her eyes?
Elsara, happy that the creature is healthy and has made her own in-depth analysis of the creature moves back to her prior objective of finding Folki. She begins to skip off towards the direction Folki went (unless another circus folk stops her).
Elsara will go to the first door and knock on it, waiting for an answer. Upon answering she'll ask. "Hello. I'm looking for my friend. He's a aarakocra with reddish-brown feathers and bad manners. Have you seen him?"
The same red haired woman points you to the 2nd Floor. You walk up and see Folki standing at the door way of a room staring at another Aarakocra sleeping, like a creep.
"Who?" The woman asks, equal parts confused and scared.
"the one like me" folki tone comes down slightly but still soaked in excitement. He starts to go around checking the rooms

Does folki recognise the aarakocra? I'm guessing if he's around his age or older he will as they are full grown by 4

(folki left 6 years ago .....)
(Oh. In that case, the bird man is 7 :P.)

Medicine: 18
Yes, it is quite healthy.
Elsara, happy that the creature is healthy and has made her own in-depth analysis of the creature moves back to her prior objective of finding Folki. She begins to skip off towards the direction Folki went (unless another circus folk stops her).
She enters the large carriage but Folki is nowhere to be seen. (He is already on the 2nd floor but you don't know that)

(ok he's not staring like a freak I just don't have enough time to post properly yet, instead I'm replying to this...)
