@Mimzy, Yeah, I meant Survival. I prefer survival when it comes to finding food and places to rest
Alright everyone, sorry I didn't progress the campaign yesterday. I just wasn't feeling like it so I took a day off. I'm back now and I will continue the campaign within the next hour and a half (After I finish eating breakfast.)
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Zulk looks at his previous post and goes, "Wow, breakfast didn't take nearly as long as I thought it did."
Elsara works on the spell scrolls for the rest of the day. As she progresses further into her work, it becomes clear that creating a spell scroll that can be used by a non-caster and that can be cast repeatedly from the scroll instead of just once is a lot harder to do than just creating a normal spell scroll. It would take her just 2 more days of work to finish it provided she can figure out all that needs figuring out in order to make such a scroll. Roll Arcana

I assume you guys are going to rent a wagon again? To rent a wagon it will cost 8 gp 4cp (I know the prices has been inconsistent but I've just switched to a new system of calculation that would actually make renting easier for me to manage. Hopefully the price will now be consistent from this point forward). If you want to rent a carriage, it would cost 11 gp 8 sp 2cp. This money needs to be payed as you are renting the horse instead of when you get back. Val, give me Survival for food hunting.
I assume you guys are following the road, right? If you'd rather follow the river, please let me know and I will retcon the next part of this post.
Summer 43 Time: 1:00 AM (In this world, 4:00 AM is considered the start of a new day. By our world's standards, the date would be Summer 44, 1:00 AM) MAP:
Your Position: Row-3 Col-9
As you get closer and closer to the plateau regions of Orien and Rigmer, you can see the steep rocky wall formed by the elevated plateau. Long ago, diamonds were discovered at the side of Mt.Tow and settlers rushed there and made the city which would later be known as Drynia. The old diamond mines have long since dried up but the town remains. It is now Lun's seat of knowledge. The man-made sloping road carved at the side of the natural wall by the early settlers is still used to access Orien and Rigmer. When you set camp the other night, all you saw was clear skies and no wind.
T: 7
You wake up to a deafeningly loud boom and a dark crimson night sky (Not magical; The clouds look dark red at night) The grass, shrubs and the odd tree shriek and dance to the strong winds. Your tents sway frantically with cracking noises. Those of you who opted to sleep (Trance) outside have a hard time opening your eyes as clouds of dust are raised and race across the plains. Then, the world becomes bathed in brilliant light once more, causing everything to cast a dark black shadow as a purple bolt of lightning hops between the clouds (Because of the presence of magic, some natural phenomenon such as lightning often take different colors in this world; no outside magic involved) as another deafening boom shakes the world. The horses neigh, being spooked. A big storm is coming!
(If we’ve got a cart, the road makes more sense.) Gendan still thinks it’s silly that the crew would see need for a cart. During the night, her dreams are haunted, but the same force that haunts her provides the power coursing through her veins. She is eager, antsy even, to swing her sword once more.

(Sorry for not posting for a few days. Pretty ill atm.)
Elsara will've been focusing on the scroll most of the time while the others are organising things. It probably means she hasn't gotten around to doing any shopping.
The following morning though, Elsara will head back with the horse and cart to return them/negotiate the next neck of the journey if she is informed about them headed out so soon.
Elsara has some difficulty figuring everything out but she eventually does it. It's all smooth sailing from here. After 2 more days of work, Elsara's scroll will be complete and ready to use.

I suppose Elsara will be trying to help Val find some shelter, while also trying to keep the horses under control (unless someone else wants to take the reins, it's not Elsara's forte).

Val agrees with Gendan in that taking a cart only slows them down, but will go with whatever decision the party makes.
( Survival: 22 )
" We should try to find shelter from this unexpected storm!!" yells Valwarin to make himself listened despite the wind and thunder.
He will look for a better place to be during the storm.

Result of the hunting check: You guys don't need to use rations during your trip to Drynia
Result of storm check: The dust coupled with the darkness and your location makes it hard to see. Val can't find any good shelter.
I suppose Elsara will be trying to help Val find some shelter, while also trying to keep the horses under control (unless someone else wants to take the reins, it's not Elsara's forte).
Animal Handling: 18
Elsara, you get a +2 for calming the horses down (yes, even the racist one) but you have to pick one. Either help Val or get the horses, your choice.
Elsara will get the horses. She doesn't want them running away in a panic during this storm, keeping them safe is her priority.
Elsara is successful in keeping the horses under control... For now.
In the meantime, Elsara is trying to keep them calm with a quick makeshift song. She isn't a songsmith, bardic capabilities aren't her thing.
Roll performance.

You do not get kicked in the face.
Elsara counts that as a win ;-)
Well, you can still help Val find shelter.
If it's a help, I'd be granting advantage on the Survival check that Val makes. Will have to wait on Val for that, though.
Advantage roll thanks to Elsara's help: 7
Nop... it seems that the dust has entered deep into the druid's eyes.
