Elsara will be enquiring about the others, as she hasn't seen them for a couple of days. "Everyone's keeping out of trouble, right?" She asks, idly tapping her fingers on the front cover of her spellbook. "Umm... Did we manage to arrange anything for Hunin yet?"
"Well... most of time... they managed to get themselves in a fight with a crazy tabaxi that almost killed both of them. Fortunately I was able to heal them during the fight but both the crowd and the tabaxi, were so focused in the fight that didn't notice I was healing them... They won, barely but won. Thenew gauntlets of Runt are their price, and some money I think. What amazed me of it is that the crowd were cheering the tabaxi and asking him to kill them. To kill, not to win but to kill both of them. And when they managed to win and killed the tabaxi in return... they wanted their heads! If not for the intervention of the commander I doubt they would have made it out of there alive... I don't cease to amaze with the so-called civilitation. This journey is presenting more riddles that I initially thought. "
The time you guys spent is all like a nebulous time bubble. So, Val and Elsara are free to continue the combination while I focus a bit more on Runt and Gendan. I'm really enjoying Val and Elsara's conversation but there's nothing for me to manage really.
Day 3 of 5
Gendan waits for the Orc at breakfast but he doesn't show up.
Gendan eats her meal, but does not wait long after that to see if the orc shows up. It was worth a shot to earn a buck, but no skin off her back if the transaction is a bust.
While Gendan finishes her meal and gets ready, she notices a crowd back near the guest quarters. The other PCs can also react to this because it is a pretty big commotion and it is Day 3 of 5 whereas Val and Elsara's conversation was going on during Day 2 of 5.
Elsara seems mortified as well. She has never thought of combat as a blood sport before. "Mabbe therb's something wrong wib the townsfolk."Elsara suggests."I don't get it eiber. Fighting shub only be for protection." She sneezes onto her spellbook. "Bwah!" Elsara quickly uses Prestidigitation to clean away the mucus. She then gives Valwarin a smile. "Dib you find anything nice in town? Mabbe therb's a park with somewhere that the animals can have some peace."
"For protection or for hunting... "says the druid " but yes.. I understand whay you say... I do not understand how they can turn the life and death of others "
"To be fair no, I didn't. We could take a walk and see if we can find a nice place for them if you feel strong enough"
(OOC: As for Hurin I think that we arrange for him to be sent to his hometwon to be buried there... didn't we? If not Val will make the necessary arrangements)
Elsara shakes her head. "I don't wanna spread abythin." She informs Val. "Pwomise we'll find somewhere nice to when I geb bedder." She sniffs again. "I'd wanna take the horses out for a wander, too."
Elsara then looks to the scroll on the table. "Do you think you coub look at that?" Elsara says. "I've written it specially for somewom. I wanna maek sure ib's legible by non-wizards."
The scroll appears to be a very basic version of a spell scroll, adapted especially for people unfamiliar with spellcasting. It has very basic and straightforward notes on how to cast the Prestidigitation spell a handful of times.
"Oh I see" says the druid " so that's how you are able to produce such interesting and useful spells " he says handing back the scroll to Elsara. "Really interesting"
Gendan, Val and Runt (and Elsara?) go over to check out the commotion. After asking around a bit, the same Half-elf guard who you met when you came to this place sees you and says, "Bad news, Ripo Firearm has been found dead in his room. It seems he had hanged himself. Our Plague Doctor is looking into it right now. He should be coming out with his report any time now."
At that moment, the Plague Doctor walks out towards you as the crowd behind him makes way for two tiefling guards who are carrying a humanoid shape wrapped in cloth while following the doctor. No doubt it's remains of Ripo in the cloth. He doesn't intentionally approach you, it's just that the way he's avoiding the crowd causes his walking path to go beside where you guys are. You can talk to him as he passes by if you want.
While walking he speaks loudly so that everyone hears what he says, "Get ready to file for a formal investigation because this may not be a simple case of suicide. I found traces of a potent anesthetic in his blood and a small, pierce wound on the back of his neck. It was made by a long, sharp but very slim needle of some kind. I will now make a more detailed report after autopsy."
Does Runt want to do anything else that night? I know Val and Elsara are having an elf to elf conversation.

Is Elsara with the other 3?
Runt knows very little of what she overheard. When in private she would ask the other, more modernly educated about what it ment.
