Does she tell Horace about it because the blacksmiths of Drynia, as Runt would soon learn, have no idea on where to even begin working with the dragon tooth.
A basic +1 Two handed hammer (maul) costs: 1100 GP A basic +1 one handed hammer (war hammer) costs: 1500 GP
Horace also tells her that most blacksmiths probably won't be able to do anything with that. What she needs is a Forge Cleric or a master blacksmith. If she can wait for some time, Horace offers to send the tooth to make a magic weapon out of it. What kind of weapon is up to Runt's choosing.

Now equipped with her pact blade, Gendan sells her plain longsword to whoever will buy it. Persuasion 20
Gendan’s pact weapons are the shape of the proper weapons but appear as shadows, pitch black like her eyes.
Gendan’s Full Red Dragon Plate now covers her body. Instead of appearing smooth as Plate might usually be, it is textured of dragon scales. It has scales of bright red of fire and deep red of blood inter-mixed throughout. The pauldrons are subtle and lay close to her shoulders, while the arms extend down until they meet flush with the ornate Gauntlets of Ogre Power. The cuirass flows gracefully down her near-elven form. She will often conceal all this beneath her common black hooded cloak, as only the toes of her sabatons flick out past the hem, resembling the way her hair tends to escape her hood.
( 10 potions in total, he will give 2 to each party member so we all end with 2 healing potions for emergencies )
Valwarin comes back to the carriage walking with a new wooden quartersatff. He says to the party
" I've replentished our stock of healing potions. Here, take this friends " he gives each of them 2 healing potions and then he sits with Horace in the front of the carriage. "Do you mind if I sit here this trip?"
With everyone seated in the Carriage Horace himself gets in and tells Catherine to fly. With a loud, "YEEEEEE HAAAAAW!" Catherine cracks her whip and the carriage takes flight and zooms across the sky.
Horace begins is mission briefing. "Alright so we are currently heading for the village of Milstorm in Zyphos. We have received multiple Insta-mails from the villagers requesting for immediate assistance. The village is being raided by a clan of orcs but it appears as though something strange is going on. The villagers had a treaty with the Orc chief which dictated that the Orcs would protect the village from external threats like bandits and desert creatures and in return, the orc clan would be given a share of their food, tools, weapons and supplies. For years, this treaty held with no issue. The orc clans having a war-like culture got to fight bandits and beasts and get supplies while the villagers were ensured security in exchange for a form of tax. However, today the orcs attacked without any rhyme or reason. They simply charged into the village and started killing. They ignored all pleas for mercy and diplomacy. They didn't even take any food or supplies. Their only goal seemed to be to kill and destroy and nothing else. So we are heading there now to stop the orcs and save the village."
If your character tries to ask a question at this point, Horace will raise his hand to stop them and say, "I'm not finished." in a very stern voice. If nobody tries to ask any questions at this point, ignore this section.
Horace then turns to Elsara and informs her that he has received word back from Maldor. He then turns to the whole party and shares with them the findings regarding Affectus Uti, the alleged 9th School of magic that was evidently used in the case of Jay Cantberry (the woman who was a weird kind of werefox and then exploded). "The Scholars of Maldor looked in to this strange form of magic. Though they were skeptical at first, once they found proof that there was indeed a 9th school of magic at some point in history they dove into the research with great enthusiasm. They had to search deep in the library of Maldor. Unfortunately they didn't get further into their research to tell us everything about it but they did piece together what this 9th school of magic is and how it worked.
Affectus Uti was an ancient school of magic from the very early days of magic itself. It was different from the other schools in that it didn't follow a specified function like Evocation and Transmutation but rather studied the sentient Soul and all the emotions it produces in us, from the perspective of spell materials and spellcasting. It studied ways to use emotions and the soul as material components to cast powerful spells that the body simply couldn't cast alone. It also seems that Zack Ravengar spent a lot of his time and resources studying this school of magic even though it had already become unknown at his time. It also seems that many spells that are now considered Enchantment spells such as Dominate Person were originally spells that truly warped how a person felt instead of implanting false emotions or asserts outward control like it does now. This it could effectively brain-washing the person in a matter of seconds. The researchers are now working to decode the old books as well as looking into Ravengar's personal library and notes to find out anything they can about it. Most of the old books are written in a very archaic version of Common and Zack, though he wrote modern Common, was notorious for writing convoluted analogies and notes that only he could understand. So... I'd say it would take some more time to uncover more about this Affectus Uti."
Horace then turns to Elsara and informs her that the people of Maldor want to have her on their research team. It is her choice but if she wants to go, she'll leave after the current orc mission is dealt with. Finally Horace addresses the rest of the party and says, "Now, any questions?"
DM: Zack Ravengar is a name that most people have heard but not everyone might know who he is. If you want, you can roll Arcana or History to know more about Zack.
Also, if your character would be looking out the window during the ride back (After the meeting with Horace was done of course), Roll Perception.

Devarus accepted the potion with an almost reverent look to him during the process. "My most sincerest thanks." He cracks a smile then joins the others in the carriage with a little pep to his step. Although eagerness is traded for attentiveness once inside. Ultimately, he gets so caught in the report that he forgets about the panic induced from the first trip. But he also doesn't pay any attention to anything going on outside either.
Maybe one of Devarus' parents were a wizard or maybe he just knows about Zack from the many towns he's visited growing up. Either way, he knows who Zack is.
Zack Ravengar was a powerful elven necromancer who finally ascended into godhood (Kind of like Vecna). He was the one who founded Maldor. He is notorious for his bad handwriting and even more confusing Arcanoscript Code. He grew up in the house of Ravengar, a noble household that was once very powerful but had lost most of its influence by the time he was born. Zack didn't go to any prestigious magic schools, he studied under multiple smaller wizard schools as well as reading and collecting books on wizardry. From a very early age, he was fascinated by birth, death and the afterlife. He spent most of his life studying the undead and researching the soul and how death and birth effect it. Unlike most necromancers, becoming a Lich wasn't his final goal. His true subject of research was how to use magic to create true life and creatures that had free will. He did complete the necessary rituals to become a Lich however, after he was afraid that his natural life may not be long enough to complete his studies. His power steadily grew through the years until he achieved godhood. Then one day, he just left the material world and went to the higher planes without any warning. No one knows if he actually completed his research on sentience and the soul or not since he took all of his most relevant materials, notes and guide books with him when he left. The notes he did leave behind were written with no consideration for the conventions of wizardry and spellcasting, making both his notes and his spells almost impossible to read and understand. Though he took his most prized positions, rumors say that a outdated and redundant version version of his research book is somewhere in Lun.
As for what those who know about Zack think of him, it's actually pretty mixed. Necromancers and Liches consider him a fool. Clerics, Elder Druids and Paladins consider him an evil stain on the universe. Wizards consider him a selfish genius. Bards think he made everything as convoluted as he did to be funny. High Warlocks thinks he's a weirdo because their patrons often speak of how Zack likes to hang out in Hell for some reason. No body worship him in spite of being a god because he almost never responds to prayers or anything.
Gendan, while flying over Syridin (region directly north of Wylan), you notice what appears to be a small stone structure sitting in the middle of the grasslands. Since you're flying so high and so fast, it's hard to accurately determine how big the structure actually is. Maybe it might be worth visiting when you have free time.
"A rather interesting fellow, to say the least. Zack, that is to say. I cannot say that I envy you, Miss."Devarus gives a small smile. "But who knows. If you have an interest in acquiring the power of divinity without all the hassle of worshipers, mayhaps you'll stumble upon the path following his writings?"At that, he turns to others and asks, "You're a shy bunch, aren't you?"His eyes widens. "This reminds me! Whatever did you do with the wolf from before?"

Hammer or axe or sword. Bigger is better. And maybe a little thunder flavoring if possible.
And I should have enough gold to get a +1 maul yes? What's the scale up from gold to platinum?
