Skriiod nudges Alan gently forward. "Do you mind if we look around, we are not sure that we got all the goblins yet and we need to see if they left any tracks as to where their cave maybe." Skriiod asks the man hugging Tacey.

"Eh? You mean you didn't rescue her from the Goblins? Then who was-" Suddenly the man looks at Alan and then to Skiirod, "Don't tell me this man kidnapped her." he says pointing at Alan.
Elsara interjects, shaking Franklin's arm profusely and speaking quite quickly. "Hi there! You must be Mister Abedail! My name's Elsara, Elsara Deepmoon! We came to help you with your request and found your daughter along the road. They weren't kidnapped, they were eloping, but we persuaded them to come back and talk with you because they're in love. We didn't know you had such a bad time with the goblins, so maybe we can help you by stopping the goblins while you three talk to one another and you can give them your blessing so they can live happily ever after!"
"ELOPING!?" The man seems to become filled with rage. He glares at Alan with murder in his eyes. He lifts the boy by his collar and says, "You! You poisoned her mind with your honey coated words. I should have been more protective of her .You are the worst thing that has ever happened to my family. I should have killed you when you first laid eyes on her. Love? Hah! I know scum like you. You'd leave her as soon as you see someone prettier." Franklin throws Alan to the ground and says, "I can't believe I'm saying this but... I'd rather my daughter be captured by goblins than have her suffer for the rest of her life with a worthless bum like you." The man is practically shouting his words rather than saying them.

Elsara attempts to keep between the two men, waving her hands up and down. "Hey, hey! Calm down, mister. Why would it be so bad if Alan and Tracey live happily ever after? I think it was Tracey's idea to elope because you were being so grumpy and being the baddie in the story. Maybe you should ask her what she thinks before you go having an old fuddy-duddy huff at poor Alan. Tracey's your daughter, doesn't she get a say?"

Gym, being a local holy man, Franklin heeds your words and calms down. After a discussion with Tracey and her father, you learn what truly happened.
At 4:00 AM of Summer-2, Franklin left to cut wood in the forest. At 4:30, Alan and Tracey ran away together as part of their plan. At around 5:00, a goblin raiding party attacked the village. The people were able to defend themselves against the goblins. The party was one of the goblins small, "Lighting units" that only attack one or two houses stealthily and leave. The house they attacked was Franklin's. Not long after the goblins left, Frankiln came back from the forest because his axe had broke while cutting and he needed to get another one from his hut. However, seeing his house ransacked and village witnesses confirming that the perpetrators were indeed goblins, he came to the conclusion that his daughter was kidnapped. So he sent the request to The Guild.
Alan also went missing which his parents blamed goblins for. However, they didn't seem to care about their eldest child going missing.
"I'm the baddie? Do you even know this man? His parents are absolutely fed up with him! He spends all morning asleep and lazying around. His parents have tried everything to get him some kind of job but Noooo~ he is too precious for work. What's worse, he spends evening hanging out with a shady bunch of people and spends the night drinking. He rarely gets home before 1:00 AM. You think this man is some kind of knight in shining armor? He isn't even worthy of being a knight of feces! And he bears all his expenditures by stealing his families hard earned money."
Tracey objects by saying, "You're wrong! Alan is a very sweet and charming man once you get to know him. He has some flaws but he is a good man at heart. Half of the stuff you're saying about him are lies!"
EDIT: Going to bed now. Just put in what your character will do and/or say and I'll get back to you in the morning.
"Well, it seems that the confusing bits is sorted out. Technically, the guild business is concluded." Gym turned to the companions that weren't currently arguing with Franklin. "What do yeh all think we should do now?"

"Well we have a Goblin rading party to deal with, I think we should deal with them to help this village out. This man has his daughter back, they will sort things out. This man says that young Alan stole money, yet we found them starving and with only their clothes to their name, so I suggest that he not believe the rumours and actually get to know a person before listening to the words said behind ones back, had Alan and Tracy not wanted to run away together, then those Goblins would have found tracy alone here and would have killed her so she didn't get them caught. So he should be happy that they loved each other or else his daughter would be dead, so in a very strange way Alan did infact save Tracy from that Goblin raid."

"That's an interesting way to spin it, Skriiod, but I couldn't care less about getting tied up in family affairs." Gendan turns to Gym, "We've come all this way, I think we should try to take out this goblin threat. Even if this village doesn't have much to offer us in coin, I'm sure it could help us establish a good reputation, and I really need to up my sword game."
DM: Since no one is arguing with the father anymore, I'm assuming you guys just left the place. If there is someone who didn't post anything but wanted to continue the argument, then feel free to post it as retrospect. Because of the way you handled this quest, the goblins no longer interconnects with the woodcutter's story.
Val, it's been days since the goblins attacked and there are no traces left of them in the village. However, in the forest you often see goblin tracks around. Perhaps hunting party's. Talking with the other villagers tells you that the Goblin base may be in Vandanore Forest Aros.
Once the others take care of the situation Val deattaches from the whole love affair thing. The mating rituals of this particular village are not of his concern.
After checing the possible spots where the goblins could be he inform the rest of the party.
”Where do yoou want to go and check first?” He asks them.
