Deravus Rallies and moves. I'm ruling Runt has advantage due to reckless attack (works both ways). The attack hits even without advantage but let's see if it crits: 27
Orc1 has taken heavy damage and may fall next attack. (2). Orc4 (1)
Orc1 moves up to pincer Runt (Pincering doesn't give advantage through darkness. He has darkness due to reckless attack): 23 (Adv: 26) Dmg: 10
Deravus' chi flares up as he cheers Runt on. Runt feels confident and she feels empowered as Chi energy empowers her. Devarus dashes through the darkness and steps at the base of the slope. Orcs 1 and 4 both swing their axes at Runt. The barbarian dances left and right in the darkness avoiding both axe swings and then she lunges forward and rams her hammer into Orc1's gut. The impact and the ensuing shock wave bruises and dents the orcs liver. Blood runs down the orcs mouth. It has taken a lot of damage but it doesn't seem to feel pain.

Wtihout a clear line of sight to the orcs and knowing that his friends are also inside the agical darkness, the elf cannot risk to shot into the dark and hit one of his friends.
He moves down ( towards the bottom left corner ), where he last saw two of the orcs and aims at the globe of drakness, waiting for the moment he sees any orc to fire.
"I can't see you!" he says to his friends.
He asks the spirit to move a little bit to make sure that its healing energies reach his friends.
(Movement: Bottom left corner Hold action to fire as soon as any orc is visible:
Attack: 7 Damage: 10
Remember that the healing spirit is above Runt, so you can heal 1d6+4 each turn. Val moves it so you don't need to move to gain the healing)
DM: You guys do realize that missing with ranged attacks in the darkness won't mean you hit your allies right? Even if you roll a nat1 it won't hit allies (unless the enemies have some ability that does that). Also, you don't even have disadvantage due to darkness on your attacks. There is absolutely no need to hold on to your action or to not attack.
The spirit circles Runt and begins healing her. Orc2 notices sounds of wounds being magically sealed and swings with great force at the sound. With a sickening squelsh, the blade buries itself deep into Runt's side and pushes her intestines away, failing to cut them. Any normal person would've either fallen unconscious or died if they had taken the hits Runt has this battle. However, Runt simply powers through the pain like it's nothing. If her body wasn't mortal, she could probably fight on forever. Elsara tries move behind orc4 and drawing her Slasher, she swings with both hands. A shield bursts out of the darkness and pushes her away before she can land the hit.
DM: Don't get me wrong there is disadvantage for attacking an unseen enemy. However in this case, you can't see your enemies and your enemies can't see you. Therefore the advantage and disadvantage cancels out.
Really what the darkness is doing is preventing sight based abilities. Dodge requires sight so it gives you no benefit. Most spells require sight so they can't be cast.
According to RAW, multiple sources of advantage and disadvantage don't stack but having the Darkness spell basically turn into Anti-advantage-disadvantage field didn't sit right with me. So what I'm doing is counting all sources of advantage and disadvantage and which ever wins out stays. Again special factors apply like when Runt took the Dodge action earlier and then got covered in darkness, what basically happened when the enemy attacked was:
2 Disadvantage (Darkness and Dodge) and 1 Advantage (Darkness) = Disadvantage But since Dodge requires sight it was removed: 1 Disadvantage and 1 Advantage (Both due to darkness) = no effect.
Similarly in case of rage: 2 Advantage (Rage and Darkness) and 1 disadvantage (Darkness) = Advantage wins out.

Well, that nerfs my spell. The darkness was meant to cancel out the advantage of the orcs, based on RAW. If I knew you were going to homebrew adv/disadv then I would’ve gone another route.
(Yeah sorry about that. Though Darkness even in this form is still pretty powerful since Gendan can see through it. It still gives you permanent advantage and your enemies disadvantage against you. Plus it's still a very powerful anti-spell tactic so I'd say it's still a very useful spell to have.)
(If it makes you feel better, Runt wouldn't have stayed in the darkness unless she had too. She is stubborn like that and it may end up getting her killed. Barbarians are silly like that.)

(It was more for rpflavor then anything for Devarus readying to switch weapons and dashing.)
"What are you doing old man."He mutters to himself as he drew his longbow next, readying to fire into the darkness. As he drew back the string, he tried to recall his mother's lessons for combating in such conditions, as well as his own experience. His expression hardens for a few seconds before softening again as he focused on the sounds of combat in the gloom. "Hear me, Runt. You are not alone in this. Let the strength of your friends become yours." He says, keeping her spirits up. If he notices the rarely used chi leave him to bolster Runt's own, it never shows in the heat of the moment. Bolstered himself however, he fires twice in quick succession at Orc2 and Orc4's direction, sharp ears picking out their distinctive shouts and grunts from the others.
His focus falters at the last second from the feint wisp of Chi crossing his vision and distracting him. "What in the world...?"
Bonus Action: Rally on Runt, expending one superior die and granting her 8 Temp HP(lasts until depleted or next long rest).
To Hit: 23 For: 5 non-magical piercing damage on Orc2.
Surge Attack To Hit: 13 For: 6 non-magical piercing damage on Orc4.
(Editing potentially for Precision Strike on those shots.)
(Damage too good on that 1st one, so gonna use Precision Shot on it: 4.)
(Unfortunately the rolls are too low even with precision shot)
(Again, it's not like the darkness actually did any harm to the players. The advantage on Runt is from Reckless Attack. The Darkness didn't help much but it didn't do any harm either. And Gendan has advantage so that's a plus. As far as Darkness shenanigans go, it could've been a lot worse. Like Casting darkness on a Dragon that can see through magical darkness.)
Raw chi surges around Deravus as he fires two shots successively into the darkness. Both shots fly straight through and hit the canyon wall to the south.

Gendan takes another swing at Orc 1. [action]Attack[/action] 25 for 6 slashing. Take Unable to parse dice roll. thunder if target willingly moves before my next turn.
Orc1 hears the sound of something flying through the air and then, seemingly out of nowhere a blade cuts across his chest. The orc looks around trying to see where it came from but it can't see.
Dirt road(-); Rock surface(=); Slope(/): Difficult terrain, costs 3 times normal movement; Cave entrance(@); Natural flat surface/platform(.) White space is added just to make the map less cluttered. It's terrain is the same as what it is surrounded by.
Anything colored red indicates that it is dead and can be walked over. Anything colored orange indicates it is rolling death-saves or is stable and unconscious, also can be walked over.
Rock surface(=) Can be climbed with DC18 Athletics - Action to use Climbing tools will reduce DC to 14;
For Slopes(/), Athletics check to negate effects of difficult terrain (DC10: 2x normal movement, DC15 Normal Movement, Failure: Lose remaining movement)
(Val should be on the bottom left corner, I moved him there last turn for it was the zone where the darkness was thinner and where it was more likely for the orcs to appear ;) thanks! )
