Gendan approaches the levers but there is no clear indication. One looks slimmer and easier to pull. One is tall and the third one looks like it needs more strength than the others. Anyone can pull them but there is no indication. You can try pulling them to see what they do.
Val puts his hand on the one most to the right and he looks to the others, if no one stops him he just pull it down. ( or up I am not sure wich position it is )
(Forgot to post this sooner. I will be away until the 26 or 27 at the earliest, so best to post around me and assume Devarus will follow the groups lead as they are more experienced)
Although tempted, Devarus merely steps away rather than interfere in Val's... investigation. But he stayed in the room and kept a wary eye on the door throughout the experiement.

Val pulls the rightmost lever. This is the heavy one that requires a bit more force than the others (3). As he pulls it, the party hears a the sound of a gas or something being sprayed from a hole or something. Those at the door of the room will see some black smoke come down from the upper floor where the entrance to the cave was. After a while (about 5 minutes) the sound stops and the lever automatically pushes itself back into place. It seems like this one activates some kind of magical fire trap near the long hall where mouse Val was first attacked.
"It's good that no one was there anymore. Perhaps is safer to all of us to remain in this room, even if is a small one " he says " I can only guess that one of this levers open a door somewhere but I am confident that inside no one is going to be affected by more traps... " he suggest to the others.
DM: Since I was going to describe the effects anyway, I will just save time by telling you right now that no traps targeted the PCs and just describe each effect as it happened.
Val pulls the middle lever (2). It takes a lot less strength to pull down than the first one. The party hears a click and a whoosh as the locked metal doors leading to the ladder room unlock and open. Though a Rogue with Theive's tools could also unlock it, this way is definitely easier. Pushing the lever back into place closes and locks the doors again.
When Val pulls the slimmest lever (1), there is a sudden Clang as the floor in the ladder room swiftly drops down and creates a 20ft long pit. From the room you guys are in, you can't see where the pit goes. This looks like yet another manually operated trap. Having the metal doors open, you hear what sounds like some confused grunts and broken orcish accompanied by the sounds of something chewing. Val, having spent a lot of his life in the forest recognizes the sound as a creature gnawing on bones and eating meat. Those who understand Orcish can understand what is being said... for the most part.
Voice1: Heheheh more meat. More show. Voice2: Eheheheh wolf like. me like see. Me like poke with point. *Silence* Voice1: Eh? Where show? Meat where? Voice2: No Meat! No Meat! Voice1: Want show. Like show. Go up. Kill meat man. Voice2: Kill Kill Kill.
You then hear footsteps moving from beneath the pit.
At least two orcs are headed your way but they think the guy originally in this room (the one that went up to see what the commotion was about before getting unceremoniously killed by the party) is responsible. You have some time before they get here.
Valwaryn will take a position with his bow at the farthest point he can reach from their entrance, but he wants to be visible, so they focus on him and the others can take them from the sides while he shoot at them.
Devarus follows Gendan's example by stepping as far back from just opposite of the door as possible; a longbow shot primed and trained on the door. Now and then he shoots the others a worried glance, but never lets his gaze linger for longer than a second or two.

This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Alright then. Val stands as bait and the orc's ascend. Immediately they are hit by Deva and Val's arrows.
Val VS Orc1: 9 (Adv: 9) Dmg: 9 Deva VS Orc1:17 (Adv: 14) Dmg: 8
Both arrows strike Orc1 and it dies. Orc2 tosses his javelin and Val. Hit: 18 Dmg: 5
Val side steps the Javelin and the Orc2 approaches Val to attack him with his axe. He is ambushed by Runt and Gendan. Runt VS Orc2: 26 (Adv: 9) Dmg: 11 Gendan Vs Orc2: 10 (Adv: 24) Dmg: 11
The Orc2 dies as well. Everyone gets 80 XP which I am adding to your character sheet.
Devarus recovers his arrow if at all possible, but takes care to clean it off the bodies. "Yes, indeed. Very well done." He grins, starts to say something, then stops and looks back to the levers. "So, one is a feeding pit trap. The other outright kills. And that just leaves the last one, probably to contain something absolutely horrendous or merely seal off that section in an emergency. Such lovely accouterments." He chuckles heartily, spirit rekindling in the wake victory.
"If it is no problem with the rest of you, I say we see what lies beyond that door(lever opened heavy door). I got a bad-good feeling about it."Devarus suggests, and if agreed to takes up position again second or third in line with long bow in hand.

Runt is on the look out. Devarus and Val both stare at the levers; none of them have any clue as to what they do. There are 3 levers in total.
Is there any indication of what the levers are for?

So... is Val going to pull the other two levers?
Once the rest are in the safe room he will. Going in order from right to left and trying to see what happens before pulling the next one.

Gendan will attempt to position herself for a surprise attack. Perhaps positioning just inside the doors and off to the side.
