This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
"Holy--!"Devarus just gets out, and if close enough takes an immediate swipe at the closest puppet. If not, he rushes forth to at least flank at least one from off the side.

( I think that Val's only reaction avaible is to make an opportunity attack, so he cannot do anything unless any zombie provokes one, in that case, He will bite the zombie.
Initiative: 8 )
The wolf show his teeth to the appearing zombies and gets ready to fight alongside his friends.
Zombies 1 and 2 are close enough to get into melee. Zombie 3 and 4 will need to dash to get into melee. They are actually coming from outside the weapon shop; they are coming from the armor shop.
The Zombie1 charges Runt, avoiding Deva's poorly aimed swing, and delivering a strong punch to Runt's belly, knocking the wind out of her and leaving a bruise.
Gendan fires another Eldritch Blast. (By default, bolt will target closest standing target.)
1st beam, 20 for 6 force.
2nd beam, 20 for 10 force.
If target is at least 20’ away, then first hit will get pulled 10’ closer. If the target is closer, then only the final beam will pull the target, and only if it hits. (This is due to the attacks not being instantaneous and not wanting the second to be at disadvantage due to pulling the target within melee range on the first beam.)
She will then charge toward the nearest target and draw her pact blade.
Grimacing, Devarus adjusted his posture as best he could before aiming for neck and torso cuts on zombies. "Hope these were those were the only two you heard, Miss Gendan." He said as he moved on to the next one should his target fall.
Deva's old age seems to be catching up with him. Surely he was a deadlier force on the battle-field while he was still the dashing young half-drow that served the guard... right? Regardless of the correctness of the previous sentence, Deva's first attack misses. His wits aren't gone though and he quickly corrects his mistake and stabs the zombie2 in the chest with a swift follow-up attack. The sword impales the body but the puppet stands. It's head mechanically to look at Deva.
The look in its eyes is deeply disturbing. Any paladin will tell you about the undead they fought. Even low level, non-sentient undead have a kind of animalistic look in their eyes. Not these puppets though. Those eyes are cold and dead. There is absolutely no thoughts or emotions going on behind them. These are the eyes of things that are dead. These cold dead eyes seem to stare into a void even though they are "looking" directly at Deva.
Val successfully rips the zombie's head off. It doesn't get back up. Zombies 3 and 4 approach the party from behind. They are within melee of Deva and Gendan. Narrow passages and rooms makes it impossible for Runt and Val to get into melee with these zombies (unless Deva or Gendan move away from their position).
Whether age or a rose tinted glasses got the better of Deva before, most idle concerns are brushed to the side in the moment. He fights down the bile long enough to see Val's jump, and adjust the puppet accordingly for it. Although the scimitar nearly gets yanked out of his hand in the process. "That's... too... Oh no. On your guard, Gendan!" He says as he turns about for two beheading strikes at both each before again flourishing his cape to block sight long enough to Fall Back behind Runt.
With a sheepish grin he says, "Your turn now, I suppose."

On the way to the shop, Gendan informs the others that she senses more puppets coming.
Upon entering the shop, Gendan unleashed an Eldritch Blast as the zombies come to their feet. (By default, bolt will target closest standing target)
1st beam, 25 for 6 force.
2nd beam, 9 for 13 force.

You're right. Thanks for the heads up.

The zombie2 is hit hard and is propelled closer and into melee with Gendan.
Deva and Val's turn.
(assuming the zombie2 is still up)

Val's turn.
Taking advantage of the fact that the puppet is impaled on Deva's sword, Val jumps over its side and tries to bite his head off.

Two questions:
1. are zombies 3&4 within 5 ft of each other?
2. Can Gendan move around one of the zombies to create a pincer formation with Deva?

1.Yes 2. No
Deva faints an attack in order to keep the zombie busy while he falls back. The second attack makes a weak hit on the zombie as Deva falls back.
Runt or Val may now move up and get into melee with the zombies.
Runt, Val and Gendan's turn.
Runt engages in melee with the Zombies, swinging her axe with deliberation.
Attack: 24 Damage: 16
Attack: 9 Damage: 14
First attack to hit gets 7 thunder damage.
Extra crit die on 2nd attack 1
I just did 53 total damage. Barbarians are fun.
