Devarus, assuming he heard, simply shakes his head in response to Runt. But with a locked door now in mind, or at least an interest in pushing ahead a little ways, he continues on down the hall to check the next closest door. First to see if it was locked, and if not, quietly open it up just wide enough tor a glance inside.
Opening the last door on the north wall, it leads to a large room with two sets of beds. There are two sets of desks here but it contains nothing important. It just has some dried up ink pots and a ink pen. There are books but it seems to be just random text books. This room seems to have housed two people. If a picture on the bedside table is to be believed, this belonged to a brother and sister pair. The Brother looks strangely similar to Aaron. The sister is unknown.

While he knew there to be little time for it, Devarus still glossed over a few pages in the text books in his investigations. He then stuffs what he can into his backpack before heading over to slide the picture out of the frame if it seems doable. After a squinting at it regardless, he frowns and checks out the back of it for decent measure. Then it is back outside and into the hall for the half-drow to rejoin the others, and consider the remaining doors.
The textbooks are faded and outdated but still legible to some extent. It is the basic text books of this country but it is from decades ago. It should be at least 30 or 40 years old.
Elsara takes a moment to recast her Detect Magic to investigate the room, hoping it isn't as riddled with Affectus Uti as the rest of the area they have been through.
Elsara notices that the room is in fact lower on the Affectus Uti. For some reason, the entire house is not equally irradiated.
Elsara, roll Perception (INT). Normally Detect Magic can't be used to detect an invisible or hidden creature, especially through things like doors and walls but because Affectus Uti is very powerful and this creature is pretty much oozing with it's power, I'm ruling that you can use it to track it albeit, with a successful Perception roll using INT.
Unfortunately, you are unable to pump excess magic power into the Detect Magic and aren't able to track the creature. Though since the only door left is the large double doors and the end of the hall, it's pretty obvious that it's there then since the other 3 doors led to rooms that didn't have the thing.
Once Elsara has concluded her tests, Devarus silently motions to Runt and Gendan, and then over to the final doors. As they pass him by the half-drow follows at 10ft and with Scattershot raised in sniping the first danger to be spied past the two upon opening the door. Although with a foe that could readily go invisible he hoped more that it exposed itself, if albeit unfortunately at the expense of others. His expression hardens at the thought as he reminds himself of their station.

As the group sneaks onwards, Elsara whispers to Val. "Hey, can you do the faerie fire spell? We could try and light it up next time we see it." She continues checking with her detect magic active as they continue, just in case.

Gendan follows Deva’s motion and moves to the double doors along side Runt. If it’s not locked, she slowly cracks open the door and takes a look around inside. 21 Perception
As you enter the room, you see that this place is much larger than the other rooms. It leads to library. There are about 8 shelves arranged in two rows of four, all stacked with books though most of the books have died to mold.
Elsara's spell lights up a corner of the room and it gives her a headache. Gendan detects a faint shadow moving across from one corner of the room along the ceiling. It's getting closer to the party. THE CREATURE IS HERE!
Rint inquires about the key. Any locks near?
