Elsara will raise it as a group option about communing with the paladin. She isn't really sure about contacting the paladin to let them know about the group.
((The paladin isn't dead. It is very much alive and very much a threat. The apparition basically works like the holograms in Star Wars and other Sci-fi series))
((Yeah that makes sense. I just now realized that you wouldn't have known the Paladin was alive since when the party encountered him, Elsara was botted. I mean Elsara would know but you missed it when it happened. ))
Devarus crosses his arms and thinks long and hard about the suggestion. Finally, he shakes his head. "It is... tempting. But considering what was felt the last time we met, there's no telling what other strange magic they have yet at their disposal. Best to take the sword and book for now for closer study and potential evidence. Perhaps... perhaps we'll come across something that will help us track them down using those." He expresses.
"That way when we do, we are less likely to be at the mercy of some unexpected power.... or if we are to be, at least we might have the resources and allies at the time to better withstand them. Over hoping the fellow is up for tea and crumpets and a nice 'chat' on the... whatever that does." He said and waves absently in the circle's general direction. "Now, lets set the 'right' place on fire, so at the very least no other fool might stumble upon this, activate this, and set off another chain of unfortunate events." He urges, ignoring another gurgling of a far too empty stomach.
As soon as the silo and study is seen to, he thought... soon he would have breakfast on the road back to base.

"Okay, guess we're just getting rid of it, then." Elsara will finish taking her notes of it, so that she can assist in the report to provide to Mr. Sweetcane when they return. Once the group has done their work around the building she gets ready to try a more recent spell she has in order to light it up.
An explosion rocks the silo as the halls that connected it to the house go up in flames. Soon the whole house will burn down thanks to the thing being connected to the wooden mansion proper. The fire is not likely to spread very far as the air, the ground and the grass are wet from the monsoon climate.
Devarus nods approvingly, but would look to Val afterwards for a like response. Afterwards, he speaks to the group. "Now that's been taken care of for the moment, let us make our way back to Sydill. Hopefully, the boss has gotten us that connection we need, or the job that will put us closer to it." Is all he states before turning figure out the lizard situation and ready up for their departure back to home base.

Valwaryn seems satisfied and relieved when the house burns and explodes. He nods to Devarus words.
"Yes... let's go back to the Guild and leave this accursed place. I will not keep good memories of this place. I thank the Mother that we all made it alive from that place..."
He seems really affected by the events on the house and the others never had seen him so somber, he always pledges for the destruction of anything related with Afectus Utti but it seems that the house has taken his toll on the wood elf.
Elsara pulls her travelling cloak around her, also a little unsettled about the whole situation. She keeps a hold of the stone that they can use to get back in contact with The Guild, but doesn't use it unless the group wants to send an update that day.
"Well it'll be nice to see Miss Darkwing and Mr. Sweetcane." Elsara comments, trying to look on the bright side. "Oh, and maybe if we have a little break before our next adventure, we can go visit Mr. Evans and see how things are going there. I hope that things have settled down since our last visit, the town was a little tense."
With the house burning in the distance, the party walks over to the wrecked carriage. The lizards are back now but one of the carriage wheels as wheel as the wooden bit that actually allows the lizards to pull it are broken. They would have to find some way to fix it or leave the carriage behind and ride the lizards to town like horses. Doing so would incur fines though.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
"Sure, Miss Elsara. Not sure what you're planning to do, but I'm sure it'll be magical." Devarus joked as he moved into position to hold up the wheel. If magic alone isn't enough though, then he'll check inside the carriage, hoping to find against all odds to find some tools or maybe a spare wheel to try and fix it by hand.
Investigation: 12. (feel free to ignore the above roll if its not possible or uneeded)

((Posting will still be slow for personal reasons but I think I'm ready to at least start the ball rolling again))
Devarus picks up the pieces of the wheel and holds them up while Elsara works her literal magic. The cracks begin to disappear as she casts the spell. She manages to repair the wheel by joining the cracks together by repeated castings of mending. Once one of the wheels are repaired, Elsara realizes that it would be possible to repair the carriage up to get it to a state where it will be usable again however, because of the nature of the breakage, it's going to take repeat castings of Mending and the whole repair process is going to take 2 hours.
Even when Elsara made it clear(probably?) that the job would take some extensive time, this never bothered Devarus in the least. As a half-drow that enjoyed his fishing, patience was a virtue he typically had in spade, and tended to try nurturing in others. Its part of why he urged against the idea of heading too high up the chain without at least more backing or a reputation that wouldn't get them outright dismissed by those they would warn.
