“She’s going to be fine “ reassures the druid to his elf friend once the paladin helps the horse. “ that night out in the rain was not good to her, that’s all. “
He speaks with both horses a little bit more, and makes sure that they are ready to continue their journey.
“ I wouldn’t use much the cart today, so they can rest even if we walk. “ he says to the others.
(I see thanks, he will cast it anyway, for he will keep this day close to the horses to keep an eye on them and he will not have too much time to go out looking for food... just RP :) )
You have reached Sydil without much issue. However, the scenery of the small town is not one of golden light from the setting sun and the town folk running around trying to finish any remaining work before heading home. Instead, all the doors and windows are firmly shut and the streets are barren as if the town had been abandoned. The setting sun's golden light is replaced by thick darkness of a moonless night. The reason for this is not a mystery however. The sky is completely covered by dense black clouds. You hear the sound of occasional thunder but what is more concerning is a rumbling coming from the clouds. All this signifies an approaching hail storm (no magic involved, just bad weather). The party would do well to get to shelter quick as every summer, people who can't find shelter during hail, get pelted to death by the thousand stone like hails thrown down at them from the sky by the gods.
[OOC] The sheer amount of storms makes me wonder if this is normal behavior for the realm or if something wacky is going down.
Gym only needs to study the sky for but a moment before coming to a decision. "We should get inside as soon as possible."

(Something Wacky is definitely going on here. The Dice really hate you right now. I rolled for weather effects and got storms again! And the funny part is... the dice is telling me to roll for another weather effect on the next in-game day. I think they want you to sacrifice Folki because I didn't insta-kill him with that lightning bolt that was supposed to hit him.)
"We've got to make sure Twinkle snow gets back to the stables first." Elsara says to Gym. "I don't want her to get poorly again, and we were only borrowing this cart, too."
"I can see just fine. We will meet you back at the guild."

Folki, Gym, Skiirod and Gabby head off to the Guild.
The in the mean time, the trio of elves (Gendan is half elf but whatever) reach the stables and see that the doors are locked. At this point the wind has started to pick up and the outdoor area where the horses are kept during good weather is making loud noises. This is because the a wooden door which the workers forgot to lock is getting forcefully opened and closed by the wind. Either way, you guys can't get in unless you jump the fence or pick the lock.
"We can't get in without opening it." Elsara says, looking from the horse-and-cart to the door. "Umm... Do any of us know how to open it? I don't know the Knock spell..."
Just to clarify, the gate we are talking about is part of a fence. There is another wooden building inside the fence with its doors and windows also shut. So picking the lock would still leave you outdoors.
Gendan picks the locks. Now you can enter the outdoor area. There are empty sheds where horses are normally kept during good weather. A large barn like building and another smaller building that probably houses the staff or the stable owner. All doors and windows are locked, (Except the one making noise but is just leads to an empty 10x10 space for keeping a single horse)
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.

Gendan unlocks the door to the large barn and seeing her, all the horses get spooked and start neighing. A bunch of people show up from the smaller house with daggers and clubs shouting, "What are you doing? HORSE THIEF!"
(Still waiting to see if Skiirod uses Lay on Hands at night)
Skriiod will use his lay on hands on the horses to save them from their fate.

Skiirod cures the horse of its disease. You can now move on like nothing happened.
