(In Undercommon): "It is good information you provided just now, regarding Mistress Ilvara and the two male drow. Are they her lieutenants? And I have to ask what everyone must be wondering before suggesting we work together... I believe most of us are here for the 'crime' of being captured by drow while not being drow ourselves. But that clearly is not the case for you. I'm surprised they put you in here with us."
Tanis does not mention the that Sarith is apparently accused of murder, not wishing to offend and hoping the dark elf volunteers his thoughts on it.
"Yes" Sarith replies "both of them report only to mistress Ilvara and priestess Asha. I believe that Jorlan is jealous of Shoor taking his place."
Arokas sits back and listens to everything that he understands. He knows he isn’t smart enough to come up with a plan to escape, so he leaves that to the others. Looking at Derendil, Arokas tries to sense any kind of magical influence on him. Arcana: 18
The anti magical measures in the cell make it impossible for Arokas to tell if there is an arcane spell affecting Derendil. All his mannerisms and speech form seem to ratify his story. He speaks and acts as a highborn elf lord.
Bizm will approach Topsy and Turvy, suspicious of their self isolation.
She'll say "Hello" in undercommon and gnomish
Turvy, the male twin, snarls and hides his face between his legs as he sits. His sister Topsy is more agreeable and replies "curse those drow, they put us here for gathering mushrooms too close to this place. We can't wait to get out of this cell."
The drow outpost where you are kept prisoners is located in a high cavern and built some 100 feet above the floor. Your cell, same as the quaggoth slaves, is a cave carved into the cavern's eastern wall. Both caves are connected vy a 10 feet wide ledge overlooked by a guard outpost on the north end. The south end is connected to a hollowed stalactite used as a guard tower by a spider-silk rope bridge. Another bridge from that stalactite connects to another ledge further south, where the main garrison has their sleeping quarters and mess hall. The southern ledge has a winding staircase that descends to the cavern floor.
Tanis notices that Sarith responded to the question about Mistress Ilvara's lieutenants Shoor and Jorlan, but not about why he was in here with all the non-drow prisoners. So be it. If we need to work with a murderer, it beats going mad in this cave. As long as he doesn't murder one of us.
(In Undercommon, and later translated to Dwarvish) "Good to know, Sarith. Maybe the time will come when we can set Shoor and Jorlan against each other to give ourselves an opening. Or maybe it won't, but it's worth knowing. We should all keep an eye on who has the keys too. I wonder what they keep at that guard post in the hollow stalactite. When we make our break, if there are weapons and armor there, or rations and rope and water, might be good to gear up. Can't say I like the idea of a spider-silk rope bridge, though. I wonder where the giant spiders are..."

Jimjar replies in undercommon "halfway between us and the floor cave there are a bunch of giant spiders that the damn drow keep as pets here. I've seen them feed a prisoner to them and it was a messy business, better we don't fall."
Not long after the guard returns with Suushar and Buppido. Each prisoner is carrying a hollowed out dried mushroom, one containing water and another some foul smelling gruel. As soon as the guard leaves, Ront rushes to the food "I'm bigger, I eat first!" he proclaims in common. Most prisoners leave him a wide berth, Eldeth comments in disdain in dwarvish "only an orc could be eager to eat that, I only eat it to keep my strength."
Arokas looks at Tanis and speaks in Dwarvish. “I could probably get Shoor and Jorlan fighting each other. We could also get two of us to fight, and if they come in to break us up we turn on them.”
"Perhaps," admits Tanis in dwarvish. "But then there's the rest of the garrison, not just whoever comes to the cell. Since we can't jump off the ledge or the bridge, at least not if there are giant spider webs in the way, we have to go through the guard tower. The best time would be if the entire area is under external threat or mutiny to split or distract all the drow. I don't know if or when that will happen, but I think we should bide our time for now."
"Thunk biggest," Thunk says and steps between Ronk and the mushroom bearers. "Thunk think Ronk wait."
Thunk isn't throwing the first punch and while Thunk is not smart he isn't stupid, he knows Ronk likely will and Thunk is ready for it if he does. Until then, Thunk just stands between Ronk and the food all intimidating like...
Arokas sees the food and sighs. Even finding what food he could on the surface was better than the gruel they served here. Laying back on the ground, he speaks in Elvish and Common, “Wake me up if anything interesting happens. Otherwise I’m going to rest.”

(common) "You're not gonna put up with that? Are you Ront?" (persuasion 18)
Only to roar and step forward ready to punch Thunk (Ront's initiative: 6)
Since Thunk (and everyone else) had already rolled for initiative, Thunk goes first. I'm going to rule that everyone is surprised (can't take actions until next round) except for Thunk, Drogen and Ront.
Thunk’s eyes slash over to Drogen. Thunk don’t like little man causing trouble. Still, Thunk isn’t throwing the first punch. Thunk just uses dodge action waits for Ront…
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Ront swings his manacled hands at Thunk (Attack: 14 Damage: 4). Topsy and Turvy both cower in the furthest corner. Stool trembles and moves to hide behind Tanis. Buppido carefully sets his container in the floor and takes two steps back, a sly grin on his face. Shuushar keeps holding the gruel, a blank expression on his face.
Ront is so enraged that he misses his attack, making Eldeth snort at the orc's attempt.
Tanis considers moving forward to help Thunk. But seeing Stool cower behind him makes him change his mind and hold his position protectively in front of the myconoid, taking the dodge action instead.
Remembering that the less insane orc (Thunk) seemed to understand dwarvish, and that Drogen seems to be instigating this fight, Tanis speaks quietly but urgently in dwarvish:
"I do not think now is the time. There is no outside distraction. The drow will not be tricked by a simple cell brawl, and even if they are, we would have to get past the whole garrison, who will all be there, not distracted. Watch your back Thunk."
He cuts off before saying more, not at all liking Buppido's sly and calculating look, but suspecting the derro speaks dwarvish as well, so not wanting to name him as the specific threat he is concerned about. Sarith may not be the only actual criminal in here. Ront likely too and Buppido...
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Thunk laughs as Robt misses. As Thunk begins to rage he hears Dwarven but only parts of what is said. Think has the rage in him now. Plus Thunk not thinking of plan, Thunk thinking about food…
Stepping forward, Thunk sends a jab out towards Ront’s face.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Ront ducks under Thunk's attack and retaliates with an uppercut (Attack: 10 Damage: 4).
But it turns out that being chained makes hitting anyone difficult. Seeing that this moved from just words to swings, Eldeth comes behind Ront and tries to grapple him (Eldeth: 14 vs Ront: 10), failing to do so.
Buppido keeps his smile but stays silent. Drogen does not see any guards coming from his post near the door.
(common) "Hope the guards bring us food soon, I'm starving," Drogens complains to no one in particular."
"Yes" Sarith replies "both of them report only to mistress Ilvara and priestess Asha. I believe that Jorlan is jealous of Shoor taking his place."
