The power of the archfey patron has no trouble sinking Bjorn into a magical deep sleep: the boy has just the time ti rests his head on the hard ground and the next moment he's already asleep.
(OOC: Battle over! You've earned a rope - dropped down with the man's body - and a sleeping boy. Both man and boy wear leather armor and have a mace and a light crossbow. The sleeping boy has only a bruise, nothing too serious. The man, with the handaxe Ilwythe threw at him still stuck in his face, is clearly dead. I'll try to introduce the new characters shortly).
Ardana uses the new rope to tie up the boy before he awakens. "Can someone climb to the top to set a watch while we interrogate him?"
"Sure, I'll go" Engelhart readily offers, starting to climb nimbly. Unfortunately, when she has almost reached the top, a handhold unexpectedly gives way and the heroine falls, hitting her head against one of the stone blocks that have collapsed to the ground.
Tyrgram is quick to check on the fellow adventuress: "She's serious ... A blow like that ... She could have sustained permanent damage ... What a bad luck! She didn't deserve this ... Though maybe ... maybe . .."
The warlock seems to meditate deeply for some time, after which he announces: "My patron has shown me what to do. I will take care of our friend. I will try to reach a unicorn to which she will guide me - and the unicorn can completely heal the In the meantime, you continue the search for which Martha has hired us without us... We will rejoin us later, perhaps... Don't worry, you will not lack help; my patron has announced to me that two other heroes have answered the call of Martha and that they will join you soon… They met Wumgu, the goblin, who directed them here".
And so it is that, shortly after the mysterious warlock leaves carrying Engelhart, two newcomers arrive along the tunnel...
(OOC: Quid2Facis73406, ZimmSalabim, the 'newcomers' are your characters, Clas and Nimblestep.
You too were received by Martha Sharnshield - not long after the party members had taken their leave of her. So you too discovered that the young Martha is pregnant, that the child's father, a minstrel named Dobbian, was not well regarded by most of the family members - and that, above all, he died in a stupid way, choking on a bite of bread during a fight at a family dinner. Martha, despite the seemingly definitive situation, did not resign and obtained a divination that gave her hope. It seems that there is a way to 'help' Dobbian - presumably, according to her, by resurrecting him. The 'way', not better specified - the divination was vague - it should be found in this dungeon.
Following the indications of an exceptionally friendly goblin, you learned that the dungeon was claimed by an abnda of Zhentarim and that other adventurers, with the same purpose as you, would have sought you enter the dungeon through a tunnel... which you found... you followed... and you come here, at the end of the tunnel, where you meet the party, who have apparently just killed a man and taken a boy prisoner.
You can describe your characters and start interacting with everyone!)
Oblivious to the party ahead of him in the tunnel, Nimblestep demonstratively fingers a pattern on his ornate lute while lightly strumming the strings and saying to a likely fed up Clas:
”Now Clas, this shape produces a C chord you see that? It’s a very popular one if I do say so myself. In order to remember it I like to sing a little verse. Bear with me hold on. *Nimblestep clears his throat and begins to play.* This is a C can’t you see? See how I play that’s a C yes you see? Even at the bottom of the sea they can see!”
Upon noticing the party up ahead Nim abruptly stops his performance, scans his eyes along everyone, lingering a little longer on the boy bound by rope and says…
"Ah, Nimblestep!" Clas exclaims, a twinkle of excitement in his eyes. "As we venture forth on this grand adventure, I can't help but think of the tales we'll weave and the battles we'll face. Imagine the thrill of standing against the forces of darkness, our weapons in hand and our spirits alight with valor!"
Clas gestured towards the surroundings, his voice fills with anticipation. "And oh, the wonders we shall witness! Majestic landscapes, ancient ruins, and hidden treasures await our eager eyes. But fear not, for we shall not falter! With my trusty sword 'Ale' and my steadfast shield 'Barrel,' we shall vanquish evil and protect the innocent!"
As he reaches the meeting spot, Clas' eyes light up with joy as he sees the unfamiliar faces of more adventurers. "Ah, my friends! It is a pleasure to finally meet you all," he exclaims, his voice brimming with excitement. "Together, we shall forge a bond stronger than steel, embark on the greatest of adventures and make our mark in the annals of legend!"
Clas extends a friendly hand to each party member. "I am Clas. I stand ready to fight alongside each and every one of you. Let us face the challenges ahead as a united force, and may our triumphs be celebrated in songs that echo through the ages!"
Engelhart lay injured on the ground. Clas approaches with a glimmer of hope in his eyes.
"Ah, the twists and turns of fate," Clas exclaims, his voice echoing through the cavern. As his gaze shifts towards Tygram, Clas expresses his concern. "Alas, our ally lies wounded, but fear not, for within our hearts burns the fire of resilience," he declares, a determined glint in his eyes. "Together, we shall find a way to mend her and restore her to her former glory."
Clas turns his attention to the rest of the party, a gleam of anticipation in his eyes. "But enough talk of troubles, for the tapestry of destiny unfolds before us," he continues, his voice carrying a sense of adventure. "Let us embark on this noble quest, wielding our weapons with valor, and may our spirits guide us through these treacherous depths."

Never underestimate the power of a finely crafted barrel, my friend! It is both a vessel of strength and a symbol of resilience.
...Engelhart lay injured on the ground. Clas approaches with a glimmer of hope in his eyes.
...
(OOC: Only one thing to point out: Engrlhart has been already brought elsewhere by Tyrgram, so she is not there on the ground anymore - you only meet the other characters and the two defeated Zhentarim - one dead, one bound and sleeping).
Trysaa frowned as she picked herself up off the ground. 'You froze like a deer caught in the open. Why now? You did not lack when that pack of wolves attacked along the trail.' Her head whips around at the sound of footfalls back along the tunnel. She tenses as she hisses to her companions, "Someone is coming!" Sliding along a tunnel wall, she prepares to make up for her earlier 'fumble'.
Before anyone can do much beside gape in stunned silence two figures walk forward, a constant chatter announcing their passage toward the group.
(( OOC: Welcome Clas & Nim ! ))
You see what seems a dirty and bedraggled elf female perched among the rubble and tumbled stones of an apparent cave in.
Clas approaches the dirty and bedraggled elf female. "Greetings, fair elf! I am delighted to meet you!"
Clas raises an eyebrow and with a flourish places his hand on the captive's shoulder. His voice resonates with a mix of exuberance and genuine interest as he addresses the young man.
"Well, well, well, my young friend, it seems you hold the key to the secrets of this mighty dungeon!" Clas exclaims with a wide grin. "Tell us, what knowledge do you possess about these ancient halls?"
He gestures towards the party, a glint of excitement in his eyes. "We are ready to face the challenges that await! But the map of knowledge in your possession can guide us through the labyrinth of uncertainty!" Clas gives the captive's shoulder an enthusiastic pat.
Clas leans in closer, his voice filled with animated anticipation. "Share with us the secrets of this place, my friend, and I promise you I will triumph your release! A life filled with the glorious warmth of the sun, away from all this darkness!"
With his hand still on the captive's shoulder, Clas eagerly awaits, his eyes gleaming.

Ardana, once the captive is bound (and gagged), wakes him. (OOC: I think there still is some torchlight here, so he should be able to see me). "Boy, your companion is dead and you are captured. We will set you free if you can tell us how many are in your company, where they are positioned up above, and what your purpose is to rout the goblins from their halls. Tell me about this Zhentarim leader of yours. If you agree, nod and I will remove your gag."

(OOC: You are right Tordon38, Clas rolled a Perception instead of a Persuasion, but you are wrong: bonus is still +3, so end result still 5 is)
The captive looks around, winces to see his partner who still has a handaxe sticking out of his face, reflects deeply for a good 1 - 2 seconds and immediately nods yes to Ardana.
When the paladin allows him to speak, even Clas, the talkative newcomer, urges the boy to tell everything he knows, but there must be something wrong with the communication... maybe this street kid isn't used to such a courtly vocabulary? The fact is that Bjorn looks at Clas, wide-eyed, clearly confused, and then turns to Ardana: "What the heck did this guy say?"
"Anyway," he keeps talking to Ardana "on the one hand, I have no intention of getting my face smashed by a handaxe for that pompous idiot Mhurren Flick.... but on the other hand, I'm not stupid! If I I tell you everything I know right now, while I'm alone, here, with you, with no way out, the next moment I'm among the demons keeping my buddy company! No, no! I tell you what you want to know, but you first get me out of here, to the exit, in the open! After I've talked, I can't go safely back to Mhurren... he'd peel my skin off a little bit at a time with that accursed whip he loves so much!"
Bjorn even finds the time to glance briefly at Tarysaa and mutter, to himself: "Girls! I should have learned by now, that they are all..." (and the next word is spoken so bitterly and in such a low tone, that you don't understand it) "Why must they all deceive me at the first opportunity?"
After that, however, he looks back at Ardana and Clas, waiting for their reaction to his proposal.
Ardana retorts, and points with her thumb at herself: "This girl will not deceive, nor will many in this world if you treat them well. I agree with your terms."
Ardana hauls him to his feet and gets ready to march back down the hole.
"First we should bury that man up there and . Ilwythe can you fetch your axe and push the body down?"
(OOC: Is Daisy's rope still there at the other entrance to help us up?)

(OOC: Yes, nobody took it... so still there it is, ready to help you go up).
"I was treating the elf well..." protests Bjorn, getting to his feet "Or at least, I hadn't already started not treating her well... and she deceived me big times! But, well, ok, let's forget this and say that meeting you I finally found The Not Deceiving One. Maybe I'll fall in love with you" he adds ironically "and we'll get married, once all this is over..."
So you would like to bury the dead man. Has someone a shovel or a digging tool? Or do you plan to use Daisy's magic? Or to fetch fallen stone blocks by hand and piling them?
Anyway, after the burial, once you arrive at the rope, Bjorn points out, seeing the sky above: "I did not know of this passage. You guys have been resourceful to find it. But I'll need to be free of bonds, to be able to climb up..."
So, do you untie him? Or are you going for a different solution? And what the climbing order will be (including Bjorn)?
Brimming with the opportunity to prove himself a true adventurer, Nim perks up and steps to the front of the group.
“Well I’m quite the climber! Weighing not much more than your last meal comes in handy for feats like this.”
He says patting his slightly rounded stomach and grinning widely at the group awaiting approval. His gold tooth flashing beneath his twirled moustache.
Without hesitation he secures his lute to his back and deftly begins climbing the rope whilst thinking to himself.
’Fool of a bard! You really should have listened to what they were talking about instead of thinking about dinner… I do hope it’s treasure awaiting the rope of this climb and not a fight…’
We still need a report from whomever climbs up as to what they saw.
I think Daisy's spell is the most expedient for a quick burial?
I think first relieve him of his weapons, then tie him to the rope and haul him out of the hole. I'll wait for others to post.
Yes, Daisy's Mold Earth is great for that. Unless she has reason not to, we can assume she makes good use of it to quickly bury the dead.
"Oh, do you want to save me the trouble of climbing?" Bjorn asks, sarcastically, feeling that you'd rather hoist him than untie him "With all this attention, then you're really cheering me on".

OK Nim, roll for Athletics (with Advantage, thanks to the rope) to climb up.
