Lyrai will start heading back after about 10 minutes (getting into her armor, I think that’s the right time). She’ll glance at Raker along the way “You coming?”
Raker draws himself up, looking around quickly through the room for any other suitable companions and seeing none, says “*Coming* (said in Lyrai’s voice) - “Sure, let’s go to the square and begin…”. He pulls his cloak around himself and prepares to follow Lyrai, curiosity pushing him along.

Raker gathers the others and says “Let’s pitch in and see if we can help. Who knows where this will lead. I’m going to speak to the guard for a moment, then perhaps we could look at Telga’s house, then try to follow tracks in to the woods, what say you?” He looks at the others for a moment, listening to other opinions.
If there is a nearby guard or head of the watch, he will walk up to him and say “What have you found, any information about these disappearances? Is there any way we can help?”

A wizard is never late, nor is he early, he arrives precisely when he means to.
The nearby watchman turns to Raker with a small look of surprise, as if he hasn't seen many kenkus befor,e and replies, "As far as the disappearances go, we didn't know it at the time but they seem to have started more than a month back. A couple travelers that didn't make it to town here and there. We chalked it up to wolves and sent hunting parties out, even got some nice ones. It was after those didn't seem to do anything that we started thinking something else was going on, particularly when the disappearances started coming closer to town."
He pauses for a moment as if to calm himself, "What we know? It seems to happen at night. And a few weeks back there were some strange tracks we couldn't make heads or tails of in the farmlands, but those seem to have gone away."
He looks to you with a look as if he's taking measure of use, "For help, we're always looking for another set of eyes. Hampstead is usually fairly peaceful. Biggest thing we usually have to do is break up a fight at the bar or deal with a pickpocket. Even bandits on the road aren't the most common. So a case like this isn't exactly our expertise. If you find something we missed, that's a great help. We've got some search parties grouping up near the watch house if you want to join one. If you want to take another look at things, Telga's husband is down there too. If there's anything more you'd like to ask or a location you'd like to know about, just ask."
“I’m willing to join. Raker, would you like to as well?”

Relic is still waiting for Lyrai. The automaton is a bit surprised to see someone else with her.
"Ah, I see you brought another," he says. "That is interesting. I am Relic."
After that, he turns his attention to the watchman.
"Thank you very much, sir," the robot says. "I am quite ready to help find the missing. I would personally like to follow up on those tracks you mentioned."

Unhappy that the market got rid of individual purchases for one-off subclasses, magic items, and monsters?
The watchman replies to Relic, "The tracks? Sure thing. We got someone to take a sketch of them. It'd down at the watchouse. Strange things, those tracks. Kind of looked like chicken tracks if you squinted, only a lot bigger but still smaller than a human foot."
He turns to Lyrai, "Great to have the help. Say that's a pretty nice bow you got there. You like to shoot?"
Addressing the trio he asks, "Is there anything else I can help you with here or shall we head to the watchouse and I'll see if I can fetch those sketches."
“A pickpocket? Those are the worst. Yes sir, we’ll wait right here for your sketches. Maybe we should speak to Telga’s husband next as well.” Raker watches the man turn, walking away. He examines his pockets for any sign of a wallet as he walks away..

To Lyrai the guard replies, "I've heard of those competitions, yes. It's a privilege to meet someone that's actually competed in them though." He smiles, "You know, some of the farmers like to try their skills at the bow with each other. Perhaps, in happier circumstances, you'd be willing to do a little shooting with them?"
He leads you down towards the watch house and goes in the building to retrieve the drawings before coming back out, "So these here are the drawings of what we found. Couldn't make heads or tails of the them but perhaps you'll have better luck." He rolls out a drawing of two prints about the size of a human hand.
"And that guy over there," he says gesturing towards an older man sitting next to the door, "is Telga's husband if you want to speak with him."

Looking at the tracks, and some other drawings brought out too, Raker isn't able to get the clearest read on them. But he does notice discrepancies in the drawings that suggests either issues with the drawings or that the track samplings are from more than one creature of the same type.
The man looks up to Raker and say, "Yeah that's me. The name's Thormund. But I wouldn't say were. Telga's out there. I can feel it in my bones." he pauses for a moment to hold back tears before continuing. "As for telling you about her, what can I say but that she's the love of my life. We both grew up here in Hampstead and it's where we're meant to be. She's always got her nose in a book, she's a great cook, and she has the sharpest mind you'll ever see. Which is part of what makes this so confusing to me." he takes a pause, "With all the disappearances lately we've been more cautious. Last night I was doing some work down at the forge. Real late work. Came home closer to dawn than dusk. Only to find her... gone!" he has a look of surprise on his face as he says it, "We've got locks on the door and there's no way she would have opened that door even if it was the end of the world. Yet I came back home to find the door open, no signs of any force, and her gone." After finishing Thormund wipes away a tear and adds. "If there's anything you think could help, please let me know. I just want to find her."
“Can we have a look at your house? Maybe there is a clue, something that has been overlooked, something *roack* … that would let us know why she opened the door, she must of left of her own free will, or there would have been signs of a struggle. We need to look. Can you show us?” Raker waits on the man and follows him.

"If there was no struggle and the door was left open, it would seem to me that the most likely scenario is that her abductor was someone that she knew and trusted," Relic says thoughtfully. "Or at least appeared to be someone she knew and trusted. That or the perpetrator might have been able to place a magic charm on her... though most such spells require the caster to see the victim, so she would still have needed to be convinced to open the door... unless perhaps she was standing at a window..."
