Seldor also returns the weapons he was holding to their respective owners before walking up to the siblings and giving each of them a friendly pat on the back. "The two of you made me a little richer tonight with your performance back there. Guess I owe you one now."

Ammom
I tuck the key away under my armor into a custom hidden pocket. I will hop off the stool and make my way away from the keys former owner and before Zotar begins his performance. I’m halfway across the room when the music begins. I look back to see Zotar, such an attention seeker.... but a lovely melody none the less. Once in a dark corner of the room, I want to examine the key. I keep my distance from the others in the group. I don’t want any of the patrons connecting the dots of who’s with who.
Stealth: 22
investigation: 15
After examining the key I slip it into the hidden pocket. I lean against the wall and listen to Zotar play. I scan over the wealthy looking folks in the bar too preoccupied with the music and their unguarded possessions.
A short pudgy man with a balding head comes to greet Thurston, Runa and Sarro. "Good show, good show, good show!" He exclaims as he shakes their hands. "Please tell me that you three are attending the Baron's open fights tomorrow night!? Because I just I found out where I'm putting my gold! Burgo is my name, I'm a fight promoter. I've got a private suite in the back. Let me treat you to whatever you'd like to eat and drink. I want to keep you out of harms way the rest of the night!"
As the adrenaline rush of fighting settles a bit, Runa takes note that Zotar has begun to play. It’s a lovely song, although she doesn’t have long to listen to it, as the short balding man intercepts her and Thurston and Sarro.
“We had heard of this arena,” Thurston says in response to Burgo. “Perhaps you could tell me more?”
“As long as our friends are invited,” Sarro adds.
Runa glances around the inn to see where others of their party have settled in independently of the rest.
I’m not sure we need to let him know we’re all together, she thinks, noting briefly that the Halfling sneak seems to have vanished. Possibly he had the same idea. But Runa has no way to state that opinion, not with Burgo standing right there. So she accepts her longsword when it’s returned to her and buckles it once more around her waist.
“Did you hear that?” Runa chummily elbows Seldor and Fen. “That Baron fellow we heard of, who puts on the fancy fights? I didn’t think we’d stand any chance of getting in on any of that action. But he has open fights. Keep your coin purses close, gents. You may have more betting of your own to do.”
As she speaks, Runa attempts to grin meaningfully at Seldor and Fen. Then she returns her attention to Burgo.
“We’re a good bet,” Runa says to Burgo, assuming a somewhat cocky posture as she speaks. “Fight promoter, you say? Sure, I think we can listen to what you have to say. Maybe we can work out some kind of terms.”
Runa will follow Burgo and Thurston toward this private suite.
In Burgo's suite you sit around a large table and have a meal of roast lamb, fresh greens, hot bread and wine. "I'm a promoter without a fighter. I lost my main fighter, Madman Masher, the meanest thug you ever met. Until he fell in love with a tavern wench and skipped out! Lucky me, I found you. I can get each of you three a fight. You'll be underdogs and I'll bet on you. You split half the winnings. Plus your friends can bet even more on you. Not to mention your little halfling friend out there picking the pockets of the Baron's coachman is going to have a field day in that place!"

With the fight over Zotar figures now would be the best time to put his own skills to work. He climbs a nearby stool and takes a seat; then with swift hands retrieves his flute from it's honored position in his pack. It's wrapped in a green velvet sleeve and once released appears to be made of a silver metal, polished and bright. He wets his lips lightly before positioning them over the mouth hole of the instrument. His small fingers take their position over the various keys, and with a gentle breath a light melody begins, at first it's slow, as if someone walking along a road, or in a meadow, then the music kicks up cheerfully as if laying eyes on a beautiful woman for the first time. A sweet counter melody, a break from wonder, or maybe a smile not returned, till slowly the counter melody fades. Then a quick build up, heart pumping, racing, each note chasing the next note as if a rabbit being chased by a hound. Three sharp notes accentuate the end to the theme and the first melody is heard again, this time however a minor key change causes the originally light and breezy melody to become haunting and a bit distant as if remembering a long lost love.
((Performance check (for the fun of it): 24))
Patrons tip Zotar 24 copper pieces for his performance!

I try to open my restyle my clothing to look less roguish. I head over to the fat man to strike up a conversation. “You enjoy the performance? That’s my brother, Zotar. I’m Ammom.” I hold out my hand to the man. “We came here looking for work.”
"You must have been keeping an eye out on approaching groups, tell me more about these fights, I'm always ready to test my skills." As he sits back. "Are they also unarmed?" He realizes he may have said too much before so he defers to the others to lead the conversation.
Zotar smiled as the copper came in. It wasn't the gold coins he was used to, but it felt good to be appreciated nonetheless. He noticed his brother follow one of his patrons to the bar, just like the old days with his dad. He hoped that Ammom got what he needed from the man. Zotar climbed down from the stool and found a nearby table sized for his kind, he pulled his journal from his bag as well as an ink well and quill and began to jot down on a fresh page the song he had just performed. He was stuck on a title however, and so he sat in deep thought, his hand scrawling out the melody in his own formula while he thought.

The fat man shakes your hand softly and warmly. "He is indeed a talented performer, as I am sure you are as well. My name Chadwich, pleasure to meet you. So you are looking for 'work', both of you? Perhaps you'll join me later then. Room 303, at 3am, knock 3 times!"

Seldor doesn't know if Ammom heard what the promoter said, so Seldor will send him a quick Message to let him know who he just pickpocketed and that it wasn't some random rube.
And since everyone is starting to disperse, Seldor will try and find a table where it looks like people are gambling in see if he can join in, since it seems like he's having a good night.

”I don’t know friends “ he says with a cocky smile “ It sounds little unfair for the others if I use my hammer in the fight. But then again I deserve to have fun too don’t I?” He winks at the man.
"He looked inebriated brother, I assumed you would pick his pockets, but instead you have found the prospect of a job" Zotar says while continuing to jot down the melody in his journal. "What do you think about it?"
