Quinn nods to Jasper cry, and try’s to pull Thorne up from the ground now that there is a open spot.
I would like to do a grapple check to pull Thorne free from the undead. Also Quinn ignores difficult terrain so he should be able to move around with ease.

Magnus flings a ball of energy at one of the feasting dead scorching its back but doing little to dissuade it, he sends healing Therons way but has no way to tell if it took hold. Quinn dives in a grabs Therons left arm trying to pull him free but the oil covered limb slips through his fingers.
Jasper dives in and slashes at the corpse that Magnus had struck leaving great rents in its dead flesh, but still it does not relent its gnawing. Normont fires the round barely missing Jasper and Quinn as it plows into the dead things shoulder shattering bone.
Dev continues his strange routine of music and dance as Nerak sends another burst of cold at the same corpse its head exploding with icicles as it finally fell.
The two dead standing leapt on Quinn as he turned his back to help Theron and the three remaining on the ground continued gouging and chewing ignoring their felled companions.
Black Soil Dead 1 vs Quinn Attack: 20 Damage: 2
Black Soil Dead 3 vs Quinn Attack: 4 Damage: 3
( Lokilia is up. Then everyone else can post for next round.)
Lokilia takes the last stone in her hand, tossing it up and propelling it towards whichever of the Dead attackign Quinn appears the most injured. (Attack: 7, Damage: 4)
She then grabs three more stones, again chanting while moving her hand over them, casting Magic Stone on them.
Normont winces at how close his shot comes to hitting Jasper and Quinn, but reloads with purpose seeing Quinn now getting swarmed as well as Theron. He points his pistol to the one of the corpses on Theron, before at the last minute moving it to point at one of the ones on Quinn.
"Stay still for just a second Quinn", he says as he squeezes the trigger and the satisfying boom sounds once again.
Action: Attack the zombie on Quinn that looks worst for wear: - To hit: 1+4=5 (Oops!)
Jasper grits their teeth - they will press the assault against these relentless dead. Quinn looked strong, like he could handle the two corpses attacking him. Theron was likely in much worse shape. Jasper takes a swing at the same one that they attacked before.
Rolled with advantage, first one was a 24, which I assume hits. This time for 6 damage.
Dev’s song continues, and when the teen tiefling sees Quinn struck once again, he grimaces and shies away, yet chorusing trumpets ring in the genasi’s ears and the paladin gains 1d6 of bardic inspiration.
“You're fighting for your life inside a killer / Thriller tonight, yeah / Ooh!”
Quinn will feel the life oozing from his body and he takes a deep breath and grounds himself as he stands fully. The party sees the gold gems on Quinn begin to glow as some of the scratches begin to close.
Nerak loops around Jasper trying to get within line of sight and 10ft of one of the creatures. With an intense stare the creature's mind is wracked with pain. (Casting Mist Spray)
Quinn steadied himself with both healing and warding, Jasper cut deep into one of the corpses.
As Quinn stood still Normont accidentally almost took his head off with a stray shot, Dev continued his inspiring(?) performance.
Nerak focused on the dead thing Jasper had struck and its rotten brains ruptured out of its skull as it dropped to the ground.
A single dead hesitated as it looked from Quinn to Jasper but after a particularly loud horn blast it focused on Dev and began lurching through the rain toward him.
The three left on the ground were now covered in bright red gore and entrails and scraps of flesh hung from their decayed jaws.....it seemed there was not much left of Theron to save.
( Lokilia is up. Then everyone else can post for next round. Magnus x2)
Standing not far from Dev, Lokilia's eyes widen as one of the Dead start to move towards him. Although she realizes her aim has not been very good so far, she again tries to propel one of her stones at it.
(Attack: 19, Damage: 9)
Realizing Dev has not seemed to be fighting, she hurries alongside him. "Take this," she says hurriedly. "If you throw it, my air magic enchantment will help it fly." (Attacks with the stone use Lokilia's spell bonus of +5. Damage is 1d6+3)
She then moves away from the oncoming creature as much as she can.
Magnus will scream with rage at seeing his new friend being eaten and torn apart in front of him, his hands glowing with a ferocity not seen before as two green balls form in them and he launches them at the undead kneeling over Theron's dead body.
"Friends to me, if it is safe for you to move, we need to concentrate out efforts and deal with these abominations!" he yells out.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Dev’s music continues, repeating the chorus, although when the undead creature turns its attention to the teen tiefling and starts lurching toward him, he, Dev, feels his stomach fall to the floor. Yet as if in a bad dream, Dev seems powerless to follow his only earthly wish, to flee all the way home.
Instead, he stands in place, he reaches out for the stone Lokilia hands him, the innocent expression she has seen before tonight on his face, but his hand does not reach hers, for at the last moment his features transform in a rakish grin and, almost curling into himself, he moves against his wishes, seemingly, like a mannequin on strings, away from Lokilia, his dance steps luring the monster to follow him.
If the creature comes within 5’ of the devilish tiefling lad… there’ll be hell to pay.
Move: to draw the undead away from Lokilia.
Action: Ready a casting of Thunderclap, triggered if the undead comes within 5’ of Dev and no one else is within 5’ of Dev. The music suddenly swells painfully loudly, shaking enemies hard enough to crack their bones. Creatures within 5’ of Dev must make a CON 13 save. Failure: take 4 HP Thunder damage. Success: take 0 damage.
Jasper's heart hammers in their chest at the sight of the fallen Theron. "No!" They shout, and with a furious roar, they continue to press the attack, too caught up in the moment to acknowledge Magnus' words.
A very narratively appropriate NAT 20 for 12 points of slashing damage on the nearest zombie. For Theron!
Normont winces at how close his bullet came to hitting Quinn, and spotting one of the corpse creatures peeling away from the others and heading for Dev, decides that might be the safer shot to take next. He reloads his pistol, aims as carefully as he can.
"Where do you think your going?"
Boom! He fires.
"Hold on Magnus", he says and starts to shift in his direction, walking around the grease.
Action: Attack the zombie heading to Dev: - To hit: 11+4=15, Damage: 6+2=8 [piercing] Movement: Heads up to 25ft towards Magnus, moving around the grease and avoiding zombies.
(OOC: Are the zombies still in the grease? They need to make a dex save every time they end a turn there or enter it).
( The ones still in the grease haven't moved and are still prone. They will be trying to get up this turn coming. There is only one currently outside the grease which made its dex save.).
Nerak sees the zombie making its way to Dev. Quickly he reaches out toward it as ice once against forms from the rain onto it's body, trying to slow its movements giving Dev a chance to escape. Nerak moves 20ft further away from the rest of the dead after his last kill, taking a moment to look back over the battle field again.
DC13 Con save: On fail 2 cold damage and disadvantage on next attack roll.
Lokilias stone smashes into the head of the corpse moving towards Dev cracking its skull, as the force of Magnus' sorcerous rage burnings another to bone and cinders.
Quinn runs another of the corpses through as they begin to rise from their feasting, and Jasper decapitates it.
Normont fires blowing the head off the thing heading towards Dev and Dev looks on relieved.
Nerak switches to the last corpse remaining on the ground and freezes it to the grease puddle, with the thing essentially immobilised the group make short work of it pummeling it to ruin.
A few moments later all of the corpses begin to break down and flake away to fine ash and soil leaving no trace they were ever here, the blood and gore from Therons ruined corpse mixes with the pouring rain and grease across the cobbles.
Less than a minute has passed and people are beginning to emerge from their apartments, it would be difficult to see much in the dark and driving rain but the companions stand in the courtyard with a brutally murdered body.
