Following Normont’s glance with his own, Dev also tries to make out which of the two noiseless doors might lead to the street, or to Glinnick’s.
The two doors do lead towards the front of the building and the street but are on the 1st floor ( 2nd floor for US folks). There was another room in the same direction on the ground floor beyond the reading room which likely has a door leading to the street.
The door to the side on the landing, from which snoring was coming, possibly leads to a room with a window looking into the rear window of the 1st floor of Glinnicks.
"Hm, if I had to formulate a hypothesis, it would be that these are urns for the ashes of deceased pet foxes", Normont says to the others, as he takes note of the earliest and latest dates on the urns to compare to the current date.
He then adjusts his tools to be able to reveal magical residues, as he doesn't want to miss anything important.
He scans the area, again paying attention to the wall adjoining Glinnick's and any street he estimates would run adjacent.
(OOC: What are the dates on the urns? Are they recent? How far back do they go? Around the time of the style of clothing of the table person?)
The dates cover a period of about 60 years with many of them overlapping, his knowledge of Whitestone Noble Fashion is a little rough but the man/table was wearing clothing reminiscent of some of those worn in paintings within the palace.......so possibly a four or five decades back.....perhaps more....perhaps less....
The urns do all carry a slight.....dormant.....Necromantic trace magic to them.....with perhaps a trace of Enchantment....
On this floor the wall facing Glinnicks is free standing as the rear part of Glinnicks only has a Ground Floor.
"I don't hear anything this way," Lokilia says in a whisper as she points towards the door she had listened at. "Should we just see where this one goes?"
"Yes, that should be fine", Normont absently replies to Lokilia, whilst looking closely at the urns.
"These urns have a dormant trace of necromantic and enchantment magic. Sound familiar to anyone?", he says a little concerned. "Perhaps this place being here is not such a coincidence after all".
(OOC: DM - is there any way he can get a sample from one of the urns? Or are they locked away? He would check for traps if it is locked away. Also, we are in the parlour with the fox, right? I must have missed mention of another door at ground level?)

“Yeah, that does sound familiar!,” Dev agrees, his eyes flaring with suspicion. But then he cocks his head, squinting. “Ummm… wait do you mean, familiar familiar, like something we recently found?” He may need to be led farther down the path… “Like, what are you thinking of?,” he finishes, rather lamely.
"The magic is similar to what we found in the warehouse. The steel ingots were necromantic and the blue crystal enchantment mixed with divination", Normont clarifies for Dev quietly.
