Dev feels a shade of disappointment when Progo first replies. Adventuring is a lonely pastime and Progo seems like a lively character. Too lively and perhaps smarter than he gives on to get involved with the likes of the Nameless Ones.
But when his cart shudders to a halt, when the axle snaps, overloaded as the conveyance is, the teenager winces in sympathy, yet also, hope glimmers.
”Oh! Your cart!” The tiefling exchanges another glance with Lokilia to be sure they’re in agreement, then urges both to join him in departing the scene.
”There were Pale Guardsmen nearby. Let’s tell them about the… bodies…,” he makes a face, “so, like, no little kid has to, like, stumble over them in the street? But we don’t have to say we were involved. Normont can, like, patch things up later?”
He’s already walking but waits for Lokilia’s response before hailing the Guard when they near them.

Lokilia gives a glance to Progo's cart as the axel breaks. "You need help carrying something? But we've got to go. We have a place. But let's get moving!" she says, a bit worried now that they are not going to be fast enough to get ahead of the guard. She glances at Dev, ready to follow him. "You want to tell the guards about the bodies and not just leave it to Normont?" She sounds a little worried about that too, but perhaps Dev is right. "Yea, we'll tell them."
"You WANT to call the guards over!? Perhaps you have a different kind of interaction with guards but they and Progo have a love hate relationship, they love to hate Progo. Bodies about and Progo's covered in blood that's not all Progo's... Progo hopes you two are smooth talkers. Well if we must, Progo still an upstanding visitor and believes is in the right." Progo feels nervous around guards, he's had to talk himself out of more then one unfavorable spot before being a half orc in a questionable line of work. He has found avoiding the guards serves as useful then asking for thier help, now adding dead bodies to the mix will be even harder to justify.
“I think so…,” Dev answers Lokilia. If the group comes across guardsmen and they seem approachable — or even better, recognized as connections with Normont — Dev will alone inform them of the bodies. The tiefling carries no weapons or visible armor and his thin arm, though possessing grace and teen awkwardness in equal proportion, is hardly threatening when he raises it to point to where the bodies are. He mentions Normont’s name as a friend. (I’m hoping no roll is needed, but rolled an even 10 Deception if required.)

Lokilia is a little reluctant at first to just let Dev speak to the guard alone. But she is willing to go along with it. Afterall, if something happens then at least she would be able to alert Normont. She glances to Progo as the tiefling wanders over to the guardman. (Presuming that happens of course!) "I get it. I'm not sure how likely a guard would be to believe us that those folks just came after us. Our companion, Normont, he was a Rifle..." She pauses a moment. "Well, Rifle Something. More or less part of the Pale Guard. He knows many of them and would be able to speak for us. He's actually meeting with Lady de Rolo. Cassandra, not the one that is associated with Trinket. He's a bear, and part of the ruling family!" She seems rather pleased by this information.
As she talks, she moves along past where Dev left them, slowing a bit but not wanting to just stop and look. If possible though she does sneak a glance over now and then to see how things are going. (Perception: 6)
