"Klarron didn't seem worried about the fact the lookout was invisible. He said they compensate, which I confess I am not entirely sure the meaning of in this context", Normont replies as Dev and Lokilia discuss their approach.
"If either of you wants to assist, it might not be the worst idea. I suppose the other worry is where there is one invisible person, there might be more. Perhaps we should reserve our energy for what is to come, and trust Klarron knows what he is doing", he suggests, looking to Werhann as the more experienced Hunter.
Unless anyone objects, he leads them down the route of the first option, with the intention to hit the shop door first.
"Wouldn't be very effective at guarding the city if invisible threats could easily pass right by us, would we?" Werhann himself, on the other hand, never had anything in particular prepared for meeting invisible foes. Unable to use magic, previously, he was lucky to encounter very few - if any - such enemies. He wondered briefly if he could cause some magical effect that could help now, but nothing he had been able to achieve so far seemed fitting. "But if you can see this invisible shooter, you should also be able to tell if the Hunters see them too or not. Use your judgment, I suppose. If it doesn't seem like they're struggling, then maybe saving your strength is wiser."
If Werhann knows anything regarding possible methods the other Hunters might use, he'll briefly inform Normont. Mostly to assure such means exist, rather than to detail who does it or how it's done.
Werhann agrees with the direct path to the front door and follows closely behind Normont, his maul in his hands but ready to draw the pistol if the need arises. He could probably summon a rifle and load it with the same bullets, but that would take a few precious seconds, and rifles might be less comfortable to use inside a building anyway.
“That’s true, but how will the Hunt know when to fire, without a signal from us? If they’re just going to react to the lookout making a first move, one of us might already be hit.”

The companions move carefully down the alleyway keeping to the leftmost side to stay out of sight of the invisible lookout as much as possible, but he seems not to notice them as a loudly arguing couple draws his attention back to the main street. The companions come to the side door but endeavour onwards keeping tight to the wall before they come to the corner just beside the front door of the shop. A quick check shows that the street is relatively empty and that a little lamplight is coming through the mostly obscured front window of the store.
It appears that you have reached the front entrance without raising the alarm.
- Once the door is opened you will all be able to act first before those inside.
- We'll do Group Initiative- so once you and the Hunters have all acted then all enemies will act. And we'll continue on from there.
- From your current position you can hear an elderly mans voice and three other male voices, and you can all hear footsteps on old wooden boards coming from the floor above. An alleyway across the street and three buildings down has a faint fog drifting from it and you are unable to see any of the Hunter snipers from your current viewpoint. Looking at the building it may be similar to the other one you explored, an old residence that was turned into a commercial endeavour at some point.
"I am not the most subtle", Normont whispers, holding up his rifle. "Better for someone else to lead us in. I will send Maggie in with them. Perhaps Progo going first will give us an extra few seconds before they realise what is happening", he suggests.
Progo tightens his grip on his shield as he shifts himself to be front of the door. Looks to the others and nods to show he's ready. Once receiving similar signals of readiness, Progo will enter the building
Actions once inside: BA: Rage, rush forward the 30 feet, drawing his rapier as he moves through the room and stabs at cultists, standing next to Glinnick. (11 to hit for 13 piercing and 3 sneak if applicable).
Once Progo moves inside, and Maggie as well, Lokilia would slip inside, stepping to the right out of the main path in order to stay back and be out of others' way.
(OOC - Presuming we'll enter initiative before we attack. But she would anticipate attacking one of the Nameless once they are spotted.)
Pulling three stones from her pouch, Lokilia enchants them with a few magic words. (Magic Stone) With a motion of her hand she launches one of them at the same Nameless one that Progo had gone after. (Spell Attack: 14, Damage: 4 bludgeoning)
At the sight of their enemies, Dev’s pulse begins to race. Yellow lightning flickers in the darkness under his hood and his lips part, baring his teeth in a grin-like grimace, and he speaks an arcane phrase while twirling once in his red-sequined slippers:
“It was blood on the dance floor, And I just can’t take it. No!”
The sound of drums with an electrifying backbeat begins, along with a choir of crumhorns in brittle harmonies. (Minor Illusion)

Werhann follows Progo and everyone else into the building, but immediately realises it's going to be cramped inside. It's narrower than he expected, with all these workbenches around. Should have expected that, but he came prepared to knock down doors... Werhann doesn't wish to block others' way in, nor to have his path blocked by others. Perhaps he can use a longer weapon to reach the enemies over his allies?
Werhann summons a new weapon, and the maul dissipates from his hands. A lance, a long and sturdy, sharp-edged pole. Might as well be a long and strong spear. Might be awkward in tight corners, but effective if he can keep enemies at a distance. Werhann steps out of the way so that anyone else can pass by unbothered. He stands behind the workbench on the room's right side, wondering whether it's stable enough to climb onto so that he could attack over his allies' heads without risking hitting them by accident.
Normont slips into the cramped, narrow shop, the cold barrel of his rifle raised and sweeping the room as Amber perches on his shoulder. Knowing the sound of a shot would instantly blow their cover to the enemies on the floor above, he holds his fire, keeping the Nameless Ones dead in his sights and monitoring the room for any sudden movements.
Instead of shooting, he signals to Maggie, who darts forward through the maze of workbenches, putting herself right on the front line alongside Progo. Sinking her teeth into the fray, she lunges to bite at the exact same Nameless One the others are targeting.

Progo charges in with Maggie at his side towards one of the Nameless men, Quinn and Werhann follow and Quinn seems to get the same idea as Werhann leaping up onto the left hand side workbench and charging down it kicking bric-a-brac every which away.
Lokilia and Normont step in followed by Dev who begins his now iconic musical accompaniment.
Progo thrusts at the criminal but the steps aside, but only for a moment as Lokilias stone catches him in the forehead and Maggie pulls him to the ground savagely mauling him until he is in pieces.
Quinn draws level with Glinnick and thrusts down at the Nameless behind him, his sword dancing with green and ochre light bisecting the mans head.
Both Nameless dead, Normont and Werhann are without targets for now.....
Glinnick begins kicking up a fuss about his broken stock and the amount of blood and viscera pooling at his feet.
Seemingly drawn by the noise the door next to both Lokalia and Progo are suddenly pulled open.
Progo finds himself face to face with a hulking figure seemingly halfway between a grey fleshed featureless countenance and a rapidly apparating gaudily dressed for.
Lokilia see two men suddenly at the doorway, one stabs at her twice, the other throws two blades at Dev.
Everyone suddenly hears a furious thunder of rifle shots and there is a loud thud on the paving stones outside.
( Both Normont and Werhann are able to see the figure next to Progo and may use their readied action before their next action to attack it.)
"You're a big one, aren't ya?" Progo shifts one way, then another to slip the big grey man's attacks.
Stabbing back at the man (19 to hit for 4 piercing plus 2 rage and 2 sneak if applicable which I don't think it is) Progo trys to keep the thing from entering the room.
