"Normont, we do really need to escape this place and bring back the guard. However, I agree we can't let them advance with their plans, how about you rig something to blow and start a fire and I can set it off from a distance, once everyone is out. I can create a small campfire we should be able to set off whatever explosive you leave behind. As for the idiot brothers there, we can knock them out quickly and tie them up and bring them with us. This woudl help us explain to the guards what is going on, and it also removes them as a threat," chuckling softly, "not that they are much of one, but still. I do suggest we do this as quickly as we can can as time is not on our side."
Normont looks at Quinn and Magnus incredulously as they suggest tying up the brothers or even knocking them out and taking them on the escape.
"I am happy to rig something to light a fire right here, one that will take time to build whilst we escape and buy us time distracting our captors once we are gone, but I am not going anywhere near those brothers and risking waking them. These people clicked their fingers and managed to take most of us out. You had to be brought back from the dead, Magnus! I agree with Dev in that we need to get out of here, that has to be our priority. If either one of those brothers wakes and raises the alarm, we are done for".
He looks around at the others, wondering if even what he suggested was too risky.
Dev tries to imagine. The guards are sleeping while he and the other investigators — if you can call them that — sneak away, leaving a fire burning which quickly grows with oil and wood everywhere. The wooden crates start to catch flame, burst open. The undead come stalking out, blocking the entrance. The smoke makes the guards start coughing in their sleep, and they open their eyes just in time to see the now flame covered walking dead approaching, their earth-blackened fingers reaching out to choke them, and the coughing makes the guards too weak to fight and there are flames everywhere and the last thing they see is the rotting teeth of the stumbling undead clamping on their choking throats.
Dev pulls himself out of the waking vision, his eyes a little wild, and whispers to Normont.
“I don’t want to set a fire and accidentally kill them. They’re not the ones who are robbing graveyards. What if… what if they get trapped?”
Gile coughs in his sleep and rolls perilously close to the edge of the trestle....
At the edge of hearing there appears to be a very noisy argument somewhere back towards the manor.
Tyler speaks up, " If any of us get a vote I say we go now before anything else goes wrong....but thats just me....and him....and him...and her....and them."
Moving as quietly as they could the group hugged one wall of the warehouse as they made their way towards the rear entrance where they had come in from the olive grove, emerging from the warehouse they saw the manor and gardens to their left, the olive grove ahead and vineyards as far as the eye could see to the right where scattered workers tended to the trellis.
They managed to cross the open ground into the olive grove from here they could see the woods that bordered the property, heading towards the road now would mean crossing through the sparse cover of the vineyards.
Dev will stay put ant this edge of the open ground and Help the others cross stealthily, keeping an eye out for groundsman and evil necromancers, and blowing a sharp, rattling note like a blue jay’s warning on his pan pipe if he sees anything. When they make it to the far side he will look to them for Help to stealthily cross over himself.
"I guess we've a choice to make now. Head for the woods, or make a break for the road. Frankly, I think our chances are better headed for the woods. There's more cover and it'll be harder for them to pursue us than if we're out in the open on the road," Jasper whispers to the group.
Normont also agrees the woods is the best option, and does his best to help each person as they try to move quietly and without being seen from their current vantage points to the cover of the trees.
Everyone moves through the olive grove and to the edge of the woods, as far as they can tell ( Passive Perception) no alarm has been raised and none of the workers scattered about have seen them.
The all move into the cover of the trees apparently safe for now.
Dev feels exhaustion washing over him. He tries to quietly steel himself, but the long night without sleep has caught up with him. His mind drifts to Lokilia and as he walks with the others, he imagines she may have come this way earlier. It seems like the only smart choice.

“We should get the City Watch, right? And bring them back before sunset so they can stop whatever is happening?” Dev’s voice is tight and anxious. He is uncertain whether it will be possible to get the Watch in time.
“Dev is right, we need to make a proper report of this and come back to stop whatever is happening here. What do you think Jasper.” Quinn says with slight worry in his voice. He has not seen such unnatural things like this before.

Quinn will say, "I think we need to tie those little ones up while they rest. Just in case they wake."

Quinn would have have freed everyone he could.

“Nuts and bolts”, Normont curses softly. “Ok, ok, let’s move”.
With that he begrudgingly puts away his tools, steadies himself, and then starts to head off quietly with the others.

Tyler and the two dwarves nodded in agreement, the human man seemed confused as to how he got here and the kobold was already halfway to the woods.

Magnus will continue to help the escaped prisoners move through the forest back to town while searching for any clue as to their wayward companion.
