"Well... perhaps not the most dignified way for a lich king to travel... but I've seen worse," he says.
"I am always your humble she-apprentice, Master Akkron!" Khessa winks "It is only right that I should carry you! Unless you wish me to summon a litter to carry you with greater dramatic effect..."
If Khessa does that, then she loses concentration on fly and will have to burn another spell slot to get us out. (AFAICT, this room is a dead end.).
Maybe leave Detect Magic to Vrox or Lord Akkron. We can just pack up the treasure and magic items and carry them back to the entrance hall as Khessa flies everyone out. Once we're out of reach of the black ichor, Khessa and Lord Akkron can Identify any magic items we found.

"Oh, sure, silly me... Thanks for the suggestion, Vrox." Khessa accepts the proposed strategy revision.
While Vrox is more of a rogue, Lord Akkron's centuries of experience and knowledge make him better at Investigation. Perhaps the lich would like to explore the chamber to check the status and relics and everything while Vrox does a ritual casting of Detect Magic so that they can be sure not to miss any magic items.
Vrox does not refer to it often, but in addition to serving the Summer Court as the Warden of Bees and an emissary to the Material Planes, but while visiting the Material Plane, he became interested in non-fey magic. He is an initiate in the Church of Mysteries and a follower of Mystra (Arcana domain). He takes out his holy symbol, which depicts a blue, 8-pointed star inside a circle, and spends 10 minutes to perform a ritual casting of Detect Magic while the others start to gather the coins and check the rest of the room.
You see above the coins, wisps of shadow twist and stretch around each other which have magical energy coming from it. The essence speaks in a harsh whisper, "To be truly powerful, inhale us and use our might to further your goal. Become all powerful!
You also sense in the direction of several vials and what appears to be potions, and a large shield. You see a scroll case that is not radiating any magic, a gold-gilded black shield with an image of two dragon wings, 3 gold-gilded black breast plates with a silhouette of a dragon. In the room is also 4 suits of old-gilded black plat armor engraved with the silhouette of a dragon.
"Oh, so you're the one who led the Count astray?" Khessa raises an eyebrow at the 'speaking essence' - then points a finger and attempts to hit it with a Fire Bolt"Given the outcome, I think the power you offer is a bit... well, overrated". If the magical fire seems to have an effect on the essence, she, unable to banish by more elegant means, repeats the process until, sooner or later, it is annihilated.

Vrox laughs heartily as though the whisper was telling a joke. "Ha ha ha! Is that your offer? To be truly powerful? It is said that power corrupts. It follows that becoming 'all powerful' would mean becoming 'all corrupted.' Ha! What an offer! We should pity one foolish enough to accept such a bargain! Now, begone, infernal shadow!" Vrox is not sure whether there's really a "fiend" here to attack, but he'll lend his help to Khessa in case there is, calling on his clerical powers again.
Cast spell Sacred Flame at the wisps of shadow, DEX 19 save (with no benefit from cover) or target takes damage: 15 (Radiant).
Vrox watches carefully to see whether it has any impact. If so, he'll settle in for a fight against whatever devilish spirit they've found. If not, he'll just want to verify that they leave behind the shadowy wisp when they take the items from this treasure chamber: he doesn't want to bring such infernal power with them. It's true that devils are often thwarted by other devils, but Vrox does not think that it's worth the risk of corruption to try using whatever power the wispy shadow is offering them.
As said above, the plan would be to move (via the various magical bags) the treasure and items out of this room and back into the entrance hallway to be examined and divided. That way, they can hopefully empty the room before Khessa is done flying.
Once the group is back to the entrance hall with all of the treasure, Khessa and anyone else who can Identify the magical items can begin those rituals, and others can begin dividing the valuables. Vrox has little use of what he calls "dragon hoards" himself, but he loves magic. (That's the reason he ended up joining the holy order of Mystra.) He'll be interested to learn what the potions they've found and what the magic shield is. Of course, he already has a magical shield of his own.
Vrox is also happy to some "sparkly things," jewelry or gemstones that are easy to carry and beautiful to behold. He says, "If we are eventually victorious over the Nefarious Duo, and I survive this war, I would like to take some such trinkets with me when I return to the Feywild. The fey love to bargain over such things."

Oh. While Sparhawk and the others divide the treasure, and the wizards Identify the shield and the potions, maybe Vrox and Clarac can see what's in the "scroll case that is not radiating any magic." Perhaps a map or some other information what would help them as they move on to Uhubreen?
Vrox - Investigation: 26 to see what he can learn about the scroll case and its contents.
If the scroll case or its contents are related to his Favored Enemies (evil fiends, fey, or giants), he may be able to provide further information.
Tyekanik can stand guard, keeping watch on the exit from the keep and the door to the third spire, which they have not explored yet.
As the radiant energy goes up, it shows that it is just whisps of a black mist, not shadow or any other normal form, yet there is an evilness about it. It stays high up in the ceiling. The number of coins and other items have been gathered for a long time, there is no way you could count it all here.
In the scroll case, you find what appears to be an unsigned contract of some sort written in infernal
Vrox can read Infernal. He touches the contract with obvious distaste, wondering what material it is made of, and scans it to see whether it was specific or just the general sort of devil's pact (i.e., "immortality in the material plane in exchange for soul upon final corporeal destruction").
Akkron would be grinning if his lips hadn't decayed centuries ago.
"I think that I will politely decline this offer as well,"he says, his tone carefully controlled. "I already gained immortality at the price of my humanity once, I have no desire to repeat that mistake."
His skeletal fingers grip his staff a little bit more tightly as he watches the shadows retreat.
Clarac looks over the contract with Vrox. Upon realizing what it is, she stops reading and takes out a candle. "We should burn that paper when you are done reading, Mr. Honeysweet," she says and lights the candle.
Looking up at the shadowy mist rising into the ceiling, Clarac uses her divine sense to detect any remaining traces of devils or undead in the treasure room.

Divine Sense (3rd charge used)
You sense nothing then the mist at the top of the room.
Yes, Khessa will do so ("vacuum" the horde into the bag of holding and divide later)...
She will also ask Clarac if he thinks he can send away the evil tempting entity that seems to still be present (just to prevent some unwary person from coming here and accepting), but if not, she will simply fly everyone back to the starting room.
After that... all that's left to do is explore in the opposite direction! She will go and open that door then...
After carefully making your way back to the center of the keep, you open the eastern door, you see atop a 15-foot-tall dais in the middle of the room, two nobles stand around a table having a hushed conversation. There are ten lavish coffins rest against the perimeter of the room. On the south wall, one coffin is adorned with raven sculptures and fixtures. As you open the door and look in, they stop their conversation and look up.
"Well, that explain all the racket we heard," The one on the north side says to the other, "Any you thought it was just Azon playing her normal games again." The vampire turns and looks at you, "Well, what do you want? Can't you see we're busy here?"
"Oh, you must excuse me, buddy..." Khessa replies "This is all a misunderstanding, let me explain right away..." and she takes her time casting Haste on herself.
After that, the blonde arcane warrior approaches: "Of course you are busy! I wonder how much work you have to do... and that is why we have come to offer you rest... eternal rest!"
The tall adventuress then launches herself into the attack of the vampire...
