The sword fits easily as if it were a key. Nothing happens for a moment until the door pulsates from the red to yellow to orange until it settles on a brilliant gold, which nearly blinds some of you.
You all hear a voice from the door, not unlike the woman who spoke to you in your heads, say, "Authority Accepted."
The doors do not seem to open on their own. Instead, you must push them open.

You open the door and immediately spot two green hoods, two girls, two zombies, and someone who looks like they are in charge. The room is barely lit, with only torches along the walls to grant some amount of light.
About the enemies & hostages: The person who seems in-charge is an old human man wearing long, green robes. He looks to be in his late 60's or 70's. He is bald on the top of his head, but you see puffs of hair explode from the crown of his head. You can hardly see him as he is standing, along with the two green hoods, atop a black platform and behind an obelisk that comes up to his chest. His hand is resting against the obelisk, and his other hand seems to be supporting his back.
The two green hoods each have a hold on two young girls each. One of them appears to be the one you are looking for as she has the telltale sign of elvish-like ears. She looks incredibly drained and her expression seems sullen. The other girl is one you've never seen and didn't even know about, a full human. They both seem similar in looks; black hair, dark eyes, and their expression is the same.
There will be a reaction the minute you step into the room or attack, after all, it seems they were expecting you...
Arcana or Religion Check (trained only) DC 15:
Based on present information and your past actions, it would seem 'Stinky,' the undead you killed, was probably raised by one of the very people in this room. Most likely the old man.
Reference for the old man:
About the room: Map
You see, even in the darkness, two magic circles drawn on the ground. Around these circles seems to be incense, several wax candles, and cups. (This is represented by the skull candles.) The two zombies are standing nearer to these magic circles while the non-zombies are all standing on the black platform. (Represented by the yellow icon.) To the further corner of the room, you see what seems like rubble.

As Dyoken and Muireach notifies the party about the upcoming battle a larger puff of spores erupt from his beard. They soar through the air for a split second before they're pulled towards his body, sticking to it and an even cover of powdered spores cover his body (Symbiotic entity: When you use your Wild Shape feature, you can awaken those spores, rather than transforming. When you do so, you gain 3 temporary hit points per level you have in this class, the damage of your Halo of Spores feature doubles, and your melee weapon attacks deal an extra 1d6 poison damage to any target they hit.)
He holds a Chill Touch and will attack the first target he sees (Dm's digression) Attack: 11Dmg: 1
(Probably too much done, considering that post had 2 actions in it. My bad)
Dyoken's dart flies and hits the shoulder of the baddie he aimed for. This baddie, who is holding the half-elf girl, lets go of her to grasp his shoulder. Like a ragdoll, the girl falls to the ground and tumbles off the raised platform. Dyoken, Muireach, and Merrick, you feel the pull of the fight ahead of you, and are filled with adrenaline. However, every inch of you, though tense and poised for the coming battle, is in pause. As if you are frozen in time. You can still move your eyes and listen, but you are completely unable to move. Luthok is able to move just fine, but he senses something is wrong as Merrick is usually the first one to fling an arrow when Dyoken or Muireach throw the first shot.
"Come." The old man speaks, and Dyoken, Muireach, and Merrick all walk into the room. "Halt." You all stop and stand on the opposite direction. The old man's gaze looks over to Luthok, "My, my, another old timer. Would you humor a fellow old man and step forth? Stand with your allies, if you please." He motions for Luthok to come hither with the hand that had been behind his back. You see something glint in his hand, but nothing that seems like a weapon. Luthok, you find it odd that he seems to be able to see you so clearly. "You are a fascinating specimen. Armor made from fungi? An interesting concept."

"Spare me, you aren't even as old as the elf over there. I have mushrooms growing out of my ass that are older than you." He steps forward, and waits for an opportunity to strike. He carefully watches the old man for any signs of weakness an if he concentrates to keep the effect on the lads.
