Jetsam will roar and charge into the middle, action surging and striking out left and right at the orcs with his swords. Attack: 13 Damage: 6

Jetsam charges in and swings at Orc 1, but swings too soon and misses but his second wing cuts the Orc in half he then spins around and hits Orc 2 with his next 2 hit kill it.bthe with his off hand he stabs the thrid.

Tommy's arrows fly in the first kills the final Orc. The second hits bear 3 in the side.

Order: Darbakh, Jetsam, Bear 1, Bear 2, Bear 3 25/34, Tommy

With the ambush successfully sprung, Darbakh rushes the injured 3rd bear, using a bonus action to order his primal companion to do the same.

Darbakh's attack roll: 15

Damage if it hits: 9

Bat's attack roll: 8

Damage if it hits: 6

Darbakh hits, bat misses. The bear is near death and you can see the fear in its eye. It's ready to flee.

Jetsam to move before the bears.

Jetsam hits bear 1 twice but the bear charges in on the 3rd swing taking the power out of it. The bear swipes it claws at Jetsam before going in for a bite. Bear 2 does the same against Darbakh.

With birdies help Tommy will shoot two arrows at Bear 2

Bear 3 disengaged and ran. Tommy hits with on arrow right in the bears face and the second one grazes its size fir minimal damage.

Order: Darbakh, Jetsam, Bear 1 (17/34) , Bear 2 (11/34),  Tommy

Jetsam takes a massive hit from the bear and gathers himself (second wind), healing for 10 and chops at the bear with his longsword twice. Attack: 16 Damage: 7

Attack: 15 Damage: 7

Darbakh notices Jetsam uptaken by a second wind and uses his own bonus action to do the same.

Darbakh second wind heal: 6

He then swings at the second bear which is right up in his face.

Darbakh's attack roll: 23

Damage if it hits: 7

Jetsam hacks and slashes the bear bring it down. ,Bear 1 dead.

Not to be out down Darbakh takes a deep breath recovering some stamina and swings for the bears face cutting it clean off. Dead

End of combat.

Tommy climbs down from his perch in the tree. 

"Ok let's press foward and do this. These guys better have some epic loot after all this trouble."

The party turns to leave when the clearing floor gives out and the party falls into the under dark. Sliding down a tunnel they fly out into a cavernous opening and free fall for a few seconds before landing on a soft surface.

After a second small mushrooms start to glow. The party has landed on a large mushroom. Looking up you can see a small bit of light about 100 yards up.

"Well no way we are getting back up there Tommy says. Guess the raid is off tonight." Looking at Darbakh and Jetsam. "Yall ever been this far into the underdark? First time for me"

Jetsam shakes his head. “No.”

Ooc: the last two threats I rolled will be the finally for this trip. The dice kinda threw a curve ball with the cave pit. But the dice gave us a good final boss.

“Been here? Tommy, I lived in the Underdark until about 15 years ago. What do you need to know?”
