After resting and recovering from the previous day's combat, the party and prior prisoners make their way from the Manor back into Phandalin proper. Once in view of the little town, the eldest daughter, who is supporting the still unresponsive mother, asks to be brought to Sister Garaele.
Sister Garaele's house is directly off the town square, next to a shrine built from re purposed stones gathered from various ruins nearby. The daughters and the party fill in Sister Garaele about what happened to the mother, and the cleansing of Tresendar Manor of the Redbrands. Sister Garaele examines the mother and tells everyone, "She is in shock from the ordeal. I can cast Lesser Restoration, which should clear her mind, but she will have to face and come to terms with the trauma before she can ever truly recover. That will take time. With your father gone, it will be up to you young girls to manage the household until she is able once again."
Sister Garaele takes the mother into a back room, and not long after, you hear a wail of grief and sobbing. Sister Garaele returns and closes the door, "She will need a bit of time to recover. Girls, she needs you to just be close to her." As the girls enter the back room to be with their mother, Sister Garaele turns to the party. "Phandalin owes you a debt of gratitude for getting rid of the Redbrands. The mayor may be able to recompense you, if he summons up some courage. Meanwhile, I can offer your some work if you have free time. I was sent on a quest recently and I failed. Maybe you would be more successful?"
I don't want to dismiss the needs of this sister, but don't we have a kidnapped employer that we need to kind of think of saving? Wasn't that the deal we made with the druid? She sent us to get Glasstaff and then she tells us how to get to where our employer was taken to?
Sister Garaele, a fellow elf, turns to Rindelk to explain, "A legendary mage by the name of Bowgentle had a spellbook that disappeared after he passed. It came to our attention that a witch by the name of Agatha of Conyberry was once in possession of it. It turns out Conyberry is not far from Phandalin, north east along the Triboar Trail. So I was chosen to make contact with this Agatha and persuade her to answer a question; what did she do with the spellbook?
Agatha died some time ago, but we have found out that she haunts her old home in banshee form. We were able to learn that Agatha was a beautiful and vain elf while living. I traveled to her home hoping to offer her the gift of a jeweled silver comb to appeal to her vanity in exchange for an answer to my question. However, Agatha did not appear when I was there. After some time, I returned home, empty handed.
It is my hope that you can travel to Conyberry, to Agatha's home and see if she'll appear for you. If she does, you can gift her the silver jeweled comb and ask her on my behalf. I don't have much coin to pay you, but I do have what is always useful for adventurers... healing potions. And my gratitude.

Just to get your story straight...
Halia Thornton of the Phandalin Miner's Exchanged offered to pay you to eliminate Glasstaff and bring back his papers. She said that by doing so, you'd find the means to discover the location of Cragmaw Castle from a goblin minion in the service of the Redbrands. She went so far as to say she doesn't know where it is herself.
Alternatively, Halia also mentioned a druid she knows, that is currently travelling to the ruins of Thundertree. That druid is very familiar with the woods to the north and would be the most likely person to ask.
And, since you all probably forgot, Sildar Hallwinter asked you to find Iarno Albrek, who he thinks went missing.
Sildar Hallwinter was the older warrior that was captured at the same time as your dwarven boss. You rescued him from the Cragmaw Hideout and escorted him to Phandalin. And it's Iarno Albrek with an 'i'. Sildar was sent here to search for him because Iarno disappeared and went silent.
Droop, ever sniveling and sobbing when he's not able to provide you with the answers to your questions, has no idea what a drow is. As for Cragmaw Castle, he knows it's in the forest to the north, but can't navigate there from here. He knows the Cragmaw goblins patrol the woods frequently. Defeating one of these patrols and interrogating them would probably allow you to locate Cragmaw Castle.
As you say your goodbyes and are about to leave, the back door opens and the mother rushes out, eyes still puffy from tears, wrapped in a blanket to cover her nakedness, to say, "Wait, please! I would thank our saviors.
With my husband gone, we have nothing to spare. However, when I was a little child, my hometown of Thundertree was overrun by undead. My family fled, leaving everything behind. My parents ran a herb and alchemy shop there and made an acceptable living. My mother though, had a precious heirloom, an emerald necklace. It was hidden underneath a section of storage shelves."
Looking ashamed, she finishes, "That is all I can do to repay you. I'm sorry."
(You can still respond to the above, even though I'm narrating the next bit...)
You make your way to the Phandalin Miner's Exchange to complete your mission for Halia. She stands behind a counter in her shop, and looks enthused to see you all return. "Welcome back! You've all returned. That bodes good news."
That pearl in the bag should be kept, it's a component for 'identify' spell, if rindelk intends to keep and use the staff.. he's going to need it right?
Leek responds to the mother: "You can do better than that. You have a daughter you can sell."
JUST KIDDING!!!!!!!
Leek ACTUALLY responds: "You can keep your heirloom. We are not heroes nor your saviours. You happened to be where we were clearing out scum. Us saving you was incidental."
"We did the job, guild master. Where is our payment?"
By the way DM, can you quote me a price for "spell components". I don't want to micromanage all the stuff I need to cast this spell or that. Can we agree to say have me pay a gold, or whatever amount you deem appropriate and I can have a generic "spell component bag" that has the components I need that I have to refresh every so often?

Spell focuses and Component pouches are supposed to remove the need to manage that stuff. It's 'taken for granted' that the time you spend getting XP to level up is also time spent gathering the reagents you need to be able to cast your new spells.
Of course, there are exceptions. When you cast a spell with a reagent that lists a value, you need to have that reagent (acquire it, it's not automatic per the spell focus or component pouch). Some spells also list a reagent value AND it says that reagent is consumed during the casting of the spell, so be aware in case you plan to cast the spell multiple times.
As long as you can visit a town or city that has the appropriate stores (alchemy shops, jewelers, etc...) then just subtract the gold value from your coin and add the reagent to your items (for those reagents with values).
Halia walks into a back room and returns several minutes later with a purse, which she slaps onto the counter with the sweet 'chink' of heavy coins, "One hundred gold pieces." However, when you reach out to pick it up, she slips it back under the counter and says, "What proof have you the task is done? Where are the papers I requested? What happened to Glasstaff?"
You don't have to write a summary of the whole encounter. Whoever is going to 'persuade' her the job is completed can roll Persuasion with advantage (since someone will corroborate). If you beat a DC of 13, you get the gold now on your honor. If you fail, she will send someone to Tresendor Manor first and you can all wait at the Inn until she is certain the job is done.
Not same difference!!! We were sent to take out Glasstaff. WE GOT THE WRONG ADDRESS!!!!! SHIT!!!!!!

What task do you want to bestow upon us sister?
I don't want to dismiss the needs of this sister, but don't we have a kidnapped employer that we need to kind of think of saving? Wasn't that the deal we made with the druid? She sent us to get Glasstaff and then she tells us how to get to where our employer was taken to?

What do you say?"

Okay okay, wait a second:
1. Goblin minion???? THAT'S DROOP!!!! We need to get DROOP to lead us to Cragmaw castle.
2. I thought we talked to the druid.... What was the druid's name?
3. We have to go see Halia and get paid for clearing out the Redbrands
4. Ummmmm I completely forget (which is not surprising) BUT WHO THE HELL ARE SILDAR HALLWINTER AND LARNO ALBREK?????
I don't know what druid you think you talked to.
Man, in game time only 2 days has passed. In real time, I have no recollection of most of this!!! ugh.
I ask Droop if he knows where Cragmaw is and if he knows anything about the drow leader.
Lets make our way to collect our cash from Halia to start.
OOC: How much coin did we get in the last few battles?
