A dark raven flies into the room, wheels around and leaves again.
A beam of crackling energy lances out of the darkness, narrowly missing the invisible Jorzu, and strikes the galeb duhr, forming a sustained arc of lightning between it and Jurgen, hiding around the corner of the bedroom. Roaring in fury, the stony elemental seizes up in pain, then unleashes on Bryony, as do two of the newcomers:
Slam Attack vs. Bryony: 11 Hit: 7 bludgeoning damage. Slam Attack vs. Bryony: 15 Hit: 10 bludgeoning damage. Slam Attack vs. Bryony: 16 Hit: 12 bludgeoning damage.
Jurgen's magical projectile whizzes past Jorzu's head. "Uh oh. That's unfortunate " he says as it strikes a galeb duhr who in turn strikes out at Byrony. In desperation to help his new friend he mutters some ancient Gnomish and wiggles his fingers. A static image of Honna appears at the opposite end of the room. "Byrony, this way. Quickly!" With that he disappears back to the armoury, hoping his illusion helps Byrony escape.
A - casts an image of Honna deep into the room.
M - escapes back through the small passage to the room with the tall folk
The galeb duhr speaks to illusion-Honna is a language you do not understand. The faceless army of galeb duhrs pause at a gesture fromthe tablet-carrier. It may not last long, but it'll buy a moment of time for Bryony, currently nearly surrounded by them.
Quinn helps Jorzu over the rubble into the safety of the room.
“What happened? I saw a bright flash and the sound of crackling.”
Quinn looks to his raven friend, he makes a gurgling croaking sound and nods in the direction of the room.
With that the, raven swoops off and swirls into the room with Bryony. He flys in and darts around the stone things attempting to distract them before exiting the room and returning to Quinn.
Bryony would use Cunning Action - Disengage and then Dash back to the party or as close to them as she can and tell them what happened to Fergus! She'll use her halfling trait to move through a larger creature's space if she needs to!
In the confusion, Bryony successfully ducks south, slipping back through the bedroom and then through the gap in the collapse, back to the Vault, where Quinn, Boona, and now Jorzu have regathered. (Does Jurgen join them, or remain behind with his connected witch bolt?)
Jorzu continues to concentrate on keeping Honna far away.
Jurgen may act; so may Boona and Jorzu. (Also Quinn, if he has more he can do this turn.)
Bryony gasps, trying to catch her breath, as she finishes her mad dash out of the room with the rock monsters.
"Fergus!" she cries. "The snake lady. She turned him to stone! She tried to do the same thing with me, but I don't know...I was able to resist it somehow. Now he's trapped in there with a bunch of rock monsters!"
Tears start spilling out of the halfling's eyes, and she seems on the verge of panic.

The party reconvenes in the vault, having ducked out of the chapel, increasingly crowded with stony elementals, in a moment of confusion. The leave behind Fergus, frozen into statue, as well as tiny Laiti, now a tiny stone figurine on the floor. Jorzu continues to concentrate, but he knows they have less than a minute before Honna will return to the chapel.
Combat is paused, but your timing may be consequential to our tale. Everyone may act.
Now safe, at least for the time being, Jorzu takes a moment to digest what just happened. "Poor Fergus" he says softly as he looks back towards the rocky tunnel. "I...I don't know how to save him" and then as if it just occurred to him; "Laiti! Surely this can rescue her." He waves his hands around and mutters words in Gnomish. He dismisses her to a pocket dimension only to have her reappear near him. "I hope this works as that Honna lady will be back very soon, my spell only lasts so long". Anyone listening closely would hear a touch of fear in his voice.
Only Laiti does not reappear. In her place materializes a rotund little figure - hairy, warty, and wrinkled. (I'll let Jorzu pick what type of creature he is, mechanically.)
"Laiti ain't available. The name's Alâeddix. Got any tobacco? Cigar? Something? That was a long trip," he mutters, gruffly.
Jorzu had hoped his summoning would restore Laiti but he did have doubts. When Alaeddix appeared in her place he was more than a little shocked. "Oh dear. You're not who I expected" he says honestly. "What do you mean Laiti is not available? She is okay though, yes?" He looks down at the tiny, almost grotesque Fey. "So They sent you as a ... replacement?"
"I'm so sorry, Jorzu," Bryony says, still crying. "The snake lady turned Laiti to stone too. She's a statue just like Fergus."
Bryony looks to her remaining companions. "Those rock monsters are still in the room. If we're going to help our friends, I think we'll have to kill them. They seem to obey their mistress without question. And she could be back at any moment. Not everyone can fit this way so we should probably return to the guarded door."

"Laiti's fine. Not at liberty to discuss details. Just tell me what to do, boss. You got work? Whatcha got for me?" replies the warty little figure, gruffly.
The party stands in the vault room. Boona has packed up the significant quantity of coin, together with the statuettes, holy symbol and potion.
Only seconds remain before you know Honna will reappear in the chapel.
"I think I can take the snake lady by surprise," Bryony says. "While Boona is smashing the rocks, I'll hide in the other room and wait for the snake lady to appear. When she does, I'll stick her with arrows!"
Bryony returns through the collapsed passageway to the small room with the bed. She is going to try and hide around the corner from the door while peeking around it to see when the snake lady pops back into existence. When she sees the snake lady, she's going to shoot her with her bow.
Action: Readied Shortbow Shot - 26 to hit (w/ advantage from Hide) for 7 piercing damage and 14 sneak attack damage.
"Well, um, I guess....sorry, I'm just not used to such enthusiasm" Jorzu says to Alaeddix. "I need to perform a quick ritual to regain some of my magic. Other than that we are in a bit of a bind. The monster that incapacitated Laiti and my friend Fergus is moments away from returning and I fear we are outmatched." With that worrying thought he performs his ritual as Bryony scampers back to through the rocky passage.

Back in the bedroom and well hidden, Bryony prepares to spring her trap. The Galeb Duhr have now discovered the nature of Jorzu's illusion and several of them look around angrily. Perception: 11
(Before we run out the clock and I resolve Bryony's readied action, does anyone else have any preparation they need to do? Also: what's Jorzu's ritual?)
Moving as quietly as a mouse, Bryony finds a well-hidden spot in the bedroom to wait until Honna reappears. She readies her bow.
But as well hidden as she believes to be, Bryony is alarmed to see several of the galeb duhr look at the floor near the bedroom door and point accusingly. Two speak a hurried word between them before ordering two of the faceless elementals into the southern room. They begin to roll...
The four rolling boulders head toward Bryony in the bedroom. (Does she want to apply that roll to one of the stone creatures? Does she want to modify her plan? Or wait it out?) Honna has not yet returned (as the minute is not quite up.)

Jorzu, now visible, works a bit of magic before ducking south and east, into the gap in the rubble.
