Hoid, to the group, “Speak quickly! In view of our prior goblin prisoner, I doubt we will be able to get information from these goblins. I will dispatch them beginning on a count of ten absent compelling argument.”
Hoid begins counting to ten aloud, using a one-Mississippi pace, of course, and moves to the nearest sleeping goblin.
Seeing Hoid move to the sleeping goblins with purpose and sword in hand, Bronk hands his bow and quiver to Bran. Bran accepts them and Bronk quickly seeks out Erbert.
Erbert first congratulates Bronk, saying “You are a dead eye with that bow Bronk. Dead-Eye Bronk, that has a ring to it”. Then Bronk speaks to him in broken Elvish animatedly. Then Erbert brings Bronk back over to Bran, saying “He’s trying to get something out again, says there are many in the camp there, he’s outlining a scimitar, I don’t know if he wants to do the honors (pointing back at the goblins), or just be armed for when we take on the camp. He’s just worried about how many there are there but he can’t give me an accurate number.”
"I don't think it would hurt to at least try and question Goblin 1. He's already proven to be cowardly."
Chadwick leaves the final decision up to the group and starts dragging bodies into the thickest part of the trees. While artfully arranging the corpses he'll make a pile of any useful gear and money.
"I think Bronk has proven himself. Since the one goblin got dropped with a head shot (nice shooting Gneuman) I think we should give Bronk the armor."

"I think Bronk has proven himself. Since the one goblin got dropped with a head shot (nice shooting Gneuman) I think we should give Bronk the armor."
Would the hobgoblin armour fit Bran?
“Chadwick, please check the bodies for anything of interest, I’ll help if you so desire?”
To Erbert “be quick with any interrogations, Hoid plans to deliver Tyr’s justice shortly!”
To the group “ we need to plan our next approach as we will be time limited, ideas on next steps to freeing Cleggor?”
To Erbert “If you plan to awaken and interrogate, I would have it bound and gagged so it cannot raise an alarm!” “ we have no idea how close we are or if there are other patrols??”
Bran hands Bronk the scimitar after looking to Erbert for approval. Bronk gestures to Bran, Chadwick, Hoid and Kragen to hold them up on their feet, securing each arm. Once they are awakened by this Bronk walks up to the first one with his scimitar in hand and swiftly kicks it in the groin, hard. That goblin cries out in pain and its knees buckle. He turns to the other one and an argument ensues in the bark-whine language of goblins. The prisoner seems defiant to Bronk for a while. Bronk takes out his frustration with the prisoner by cutting the other one with the scimitar. It continues to cry out in pain and fear, seemingly pleading with Bronk. The back and forth continues and the injured goblin becomes worse and worse off with additional slashes from the scimitar. Finally, an agreement seems to come between Bronk and the one he questions. A less angry and loud exchange occurs. Bronk turns to Erbert, "Bronk know.....," and then makes hatch marks in the dirt with the scimitar. He makes 23 and says, "Cloak human." He then makes two, "Cloak human leader." Finally he makes six, "Bark whINe Yip-whine." And lastly a single mark, "Hobgoblin." He points to Hoid and Kragen and holds up one finger. He points to Erbert and Gneuman and holds up one finger. Finally he says to Erbert, "You...question...."
25 humans, 7 goblinoids, a dwarf and a gnome. The dwarf should be Cleggor. Do we have any knowledge about a gnome? At least 32 hostiles seems a bit much for a frontal assault (even if we just leveled up — too much to hope for?).
Hoid, “Bran, was there a gnome in Cleggor’s party?”
To the group. “Let’s advance on a path parallel to the approach Bronk had provided, using trees and other cover to hide. The intent would be to avoid the normal path that this group would use. Once we get close enough to see encampment, see if Gneuman can scout the perimeter using cover and avoiding LOS from watch towers.”
“we should also be wary of other devices to alert approach, I doubt the watchtowers are their only method.”
I’m still in favor of having Gneuman scout the camp. I would like to know if we think we can get Cleggor out without a frontal assault. Also, i would like to know whose side the gnome is on.
“Erbert, please see if Deadeye Bronk knows or can determine if the gnome is a prisoner or ally of the brigands.”
Erbert looks to Bronk and says “Dead-Eye Bronk…(pausing to give a grin at him) … the one like me, the gnome, is he or she a prisoner of the humans or an ally of the human bandits? Can they… cast magic, like me? We are trying to figure out how to get the dwarf out of there, if we can sneak it, or attack to draw attention and get them out. Or, if we should go back for reinforcements. What do you think, Dead-Eye?”

A wizard is never late, nor is he early, he arrives precisely when he means to.
Bronk looks at Erbert, “No Dead Eye…Blood Eye.” He looks confused at this. Bronk then points at the goblins and crosses his wrists. “Dwarf….Gnome…,” and crosses his wrists again.
Bronk the extends his scimitar towards the goblins, “You….ask…,” looking to Erbert.
Erbert nods to Blood-Eye Bronk. “Ask them. Where is the one name Crad-dick? Where are the leaders? In the tents in the front? Where are the dwarf and gnome being held? How many guarding them? Tell them to talk or we start to take fingers!” Erbert looks for a nearby bush, crushes a few berries under his fingers, and rubs the juice around his eyes… with a scowl. And then a snaggle toothed smile.
((Anyone can ask questions of them, Erbert translates.))

A wizard is never late, nor is he early, he arrives precisely when he means to.
Bronk listens to Elbert's questions, "Bronk know.....Bronk kill now.....ask...."
The berries seem to be the ones that Bronk used from what you could see. The juice is a bit pungent and stings your eyes a bit at first. Bronk sees you return and is wide eyed, "You....Blood Eye"
Bronk turns to the better off goblin that was arguing with him and then answered questions as that goblin starts to laugh. He dies quickly from Bronk's scimitar to his neck. The other he slashes both legs, cutting his achilles on both ankles. After he falls to the ground Bronk stabs him in the gut and leaves him, "Yip-whine die........slow."
Bran let's go of the goblin's arm as Bronk does his work. He seems satisfied to see the end for these two. "You have a good idea, Chadwick. Can you help me get that hobgoblin's armor fitted? I want to get a look at its sword as well."
Bronk then redraws his map in the dirt. Again, it is a u-shaped box canyon of sorts. But, much smaller. There is a raised plateau with steep cliff sides what you guess is about 40' tall. Two towers placed strategically are about 20' tall. Ladders lead up to a trap door in the floor. Bronk holds up three fingers, "Yip-whine" pointing to one tower and then repeats the gesture for the other tower. He then draws a circle around the towers (dotted white line on map), "Yip-whine see," pointing inside the circle. "Yip-whine....no see," pointing outside of circle.
As you enter the area protected by the u-shaped plateau Bronk points to the left side, "Dwarf.....gnome" and then a bit deeper he says, "Horses."
To the right he points to several places along the right edge, "Tents.....Yip-whine," closest to the mouth. Then, "Hobgoblin," further in and finally several points, "cloak human (with the inflection)."
All the way to the back he again points two times, "Tent.....cloak human leader."
On the left side, across from the cloak-human tents, "Tent.....Tent......(place of things)," he has to think about how to say that last part.
He then points up, "Dark sky......cloak-human (inflection)...sleep. Yip-whine guard," pointing to the towers. "Yip-whine......guard away," he says pointing to your ambush victims and then one finger.
“So at some point at night, they will be down to just 1 guard watching the entrance. Good. Perhaps one of you could put an arrow through their head and we could rapidly get into where Cleggor and the gnome are being held, release them, and then get the hell out of here. That sounds a lot better to me than taking on an entire camp.” Erbert stands for a moment, pulling a nearby body into the brush, hiding it from view, and using prestidigitation to clean up any residual blood or signs of struggle. He will be intent on doing this with the other bodies to hide them and eliminate any signs of the battle. “Are we going to rest under cover and wait until night to do this? If so, I would like to focus on my book and meditate to regain one of my spells…”.

What did Chadwick find while stashing the bodies? He was making three piles consisting of armor, weapons, and anything that seemed valuable.
He'll assist Bran with getting into the hobgoblin armour.
If we're going to try and sneak in to free the prisoners probably best to do it quick before they realize they're missing. Unless we want to wait to try and pick off another patrol.

Hoid, “Bran, was there a gnome in Cleggor’s party?”
Bran responds to Hoid, “No. The Stonejaw brothers do not have a gnome working with them as far as I know.”
If the gnome is a spell caster on their side and not a prisoner this gets even dicier.
Agreed. If we could find a way to isolate the magic-user and eliminate him first....
