Bronk assists Hoid moving the dead hobgoblin. They are able to move him into the bushes by tower one. Hoid finds a coin pouch with 16sp, 12 cp and 4gp. No keys found.
Quietly to Erbert. “If I remember correctly, based on Bronks crude drawing, Tower 2 did not have LOS to the stockade/horse pen area.” “ we can allow the group to make its way to extract the dwarf and gnome, and use the sleep if they encounter others we have not seen?”
“I heard that group in the Tower laugh when you created that distraction, so they are there.”
"Eyes on the other tower. Kragen is right about it being occupied. I can see at least three goblins in there. All are relaxed and looking around. They have the cover of the low wall on the tower platform."
”Let’s get a cleanup team ready to storm the tower once Erbert casts sleep. Chadwick and Bronk did well on the previous tower so let them go again. I will accompany them to stand watch at the base of the tower. The closer proximity to the fires gives me pause.”
“Gneuman, Bran and Kragen go to the mouth of the canyon and approach the prisoners but stay out of sight of the second tower. Erbert or Trolkarl can signal Gneuman and Kragen once sleep has been cast and the tower assault has begun. Hopefully the familiar face of Bran and healing of Kragen will be sufficient to take care of any prisoner needs. Assuming the prisoners are fit, figure out how to free them. Promptly.”
“After the tower assault is complete, that group will move down to the prisoners, either directly down the nearest ramp or the long way via the canyon entrance, depending on what is occurring with the bandits”
”Erbert and Trolkarl can keep to the high ground or move to provide aid as they see fit. We may need someone to prepare the horses for a getaway. Hopefully there is at least a bridle nearby. We may or may not have time for a saddle, if there is one .”
Chadwick is last to arrive trying to move quietly and remaining low. Seeing the large man trying to duck walk while in chainmail would be funny if the situation wasn't so tense. He's carrying a bundle of rope and cradling a flask of oil in his arms like a baby. He pats it whispering just in case we need a distraction or to discourage them from following.
If we can't make it down to the prisoners easily we could haul them up. I'm ready to storm the next tower whenever Erbert is ready.
Chadwick picked up a crowbar that we could use to open horse gate if it's locked, or bash open manacles.
“I need to do this now, they may be able to see us!” Erbert points at the second tower and casts sleep at it, affecting 19 hit points of monsters there. “Strike team, go go go!” Erbert says, urging them to move forward.
Rollback Post to RevisionRollBack
A wizard is never late, nor is he early, he arrives precisely when he means to.
Bronk looks in surprise as Erbert casts his spell. He points to himself and speaks to Erbert. He then points to all of you and then to the ground between all of you. He looks you each in the eye then turns to approach the tower.
We have two down and one still up in the tower. He is looking toward the back of the camp. Is anyone able to support Bran? This might be our window and we may need a lot of speed if this goblin alerts the camp.
Don't get hasty, stay low and quiet. We don't know if the sleep spell got them all yet, let them take out the tower guards first. Take this rope and crawl over above your friends and lower it down slowly. They are less likely to give us away if they see a friendly face. If they need help climbing up I'll go down since you haven't recovered fully from your captivity.
If Chadwick has enough light to get a shot at the tower he'll get prone and line up. If he can't see well enough he'll crawl over above the captives to get ready to haul them out with crossbow at the ready.
“Don’t rappel, go down the ramp. There is no benefit going down the cliff face when there is a walking path. Jog if you like. Kragen and I will go with you.”
Hoid will head down the path, past the west tower and head towards the prisoners with all due haste. He does not look to see who is following.
(Is there a reason for making things more difficult than they need to be? Substitute for flaming donkey Kong barrels? Experience bonus with increased difficulty? Please explain it to me!)
Chadwick - Instructing Bran to rappel down to Cleggor while he holds the rope.
Bran - Sees Hoid make haste to the west tower and realizes he cannot keep up. Moves to the cliff edge and looks at Chadwick shaking his head, “Too high for me.” Readies his crossbow, prone at the cliff edge and calls out down below in a forced whisper, “Cleggor!”
Seeing that Bran does not follow Hoid, quickly yet quietly gets up from the prone position and follows quickly, ensuring that his Friend is not entering the camp alone.

Erbert chuckles to himself when he sees the hobgoblin drop. He whispers to Kragen, “Are they ready for Tower 2? Is everything set?”

Hoid will gather all the party members standing around like slack jawed yokels and head back up to Kragen and Erbert.
You regroup on the cliff. Bronk whispers to Erbert when you arrive.
Down below, the gnome has moved the dwarf and himself behind the stackade posts. He is looking around into the darkness.
Looking over at the tower, those of you with Darkvision believe that the stockade is at the periphery of Darkvision range to the tower.

Bronk listens to Erbert’s translation of Hoid’s plan. You see him shaking his head in the middle and speaking with Erbert.
He points to himself, “Yip-whine.”

"Apparently, Erbert and I will be assisting Bronk with the yip-whine" looks at Bronk and points "lead on".
Bran says, “I must get to Cleggor.” He turns to move as quickly as his condition allows, crossbow ready.

Makes a silent prayer
I can stay up here to keep eyes across the site.
