Treant CON save vs Searing Smite = 31. The spell ends.
Attacking Hoid with two slam attacks. To hit = 22 for 14 bludgeoning damage and to hit = 24 for 14 bludgeoning damage.
From the top boughs flies a ball of twisted up twigs towards Starker. To hit = 7, missing. It hits the deck of the ship and explodes into a writhing mass of thorny whips before disintegrating.
Chadwick's hammer finds home on the treant dealing a mighty blow with added effect from his Divine Smite ability. Note, critical double the damage DICE not the DAMAGE rolled. I added 3d8 to the roll for another 14 damage totaling 27 damage from the Divine Smite. Total damage for that his is calculated at 51 before resistances are applied. Both strikes hit for a total of 61 damage.
Smiling and noting that Hoid took note of the "quickly" sentiment
Action: casting spirit guardians intending to deter/slow the evil shrubbery to the north with some angelic love. Designating all allies as exempt from the effect
Move: 15' NE and attempt to use the mast as cover from ballista fire and keep near Kragen for blessing and survival
Reaction: Radiant Castigation if hit
Starker, try to get some cover! I will try to slow down these enemies to the north, but there is a mass of them.
Chadwick waves around what most consider the dangerous end of his Lucerne hammer, distracting the treant. Seeing an opening, the butt end lands solidly on the main trunk. Divine power surges and the trunk of the treant splits. The split extends down to its roots and the deck of the ship towards the stern. Cracks begin to develop and grow in the deck as the ship lurches. It is breaking apart!
All of the wooden figures attacking you solidify and fall to the deck lifeless.

That’s a can of whoop ass!
Turned the treant into firewood!
I get 67 slashing damage. AC 17.
I agree. 3 trip saves. If it matters.
It is huge. No trip saves.
The Treant Strikes Back
Treant CON save vs Searing Smite = 31. The spell ends.
Attacking Hoid with two slam attacks. To hit = 22 for 14 bludgeoning damage and to hit = 24 for 14 bludgeoning damage.

Round 8
"COME! LET ME FEAST UPON YOUR BONES!!," the treant roars.
Bursting from the doors to the forecastle, five humanoid creatures made of wood with featureless faces come charging towards you.
Chadwick to act.
This turn Chadwick remembers he gets two attacks per round instead of one, so hopefully that'll help a bit.
BA - hunters mark
Chadwick yells at the Treant "You are NOT a nice tree".
Attack 1 - 15, nat 20.
Damage: Hammer 18 + HM 6 + Divine Smite at 2nd level 26 = 50
If the Mean Old Tree dies Chadwick will charge towards the newcomers, otherwise he attacks again.
Attack 2 - 17, 16
Damage: hammer 8 + HM 2 = 10
Chadwick will also alert anyone who might not have noticed the swarm of (what ever da fuq they are) attacking from the rear.
Trolkarl is up.
Whoops noted.
Not sure if this is an undead or fiendish version of a Treant, but Divine Smite would do an extra 2d8 (normally 1d8) if it was.
It certainly isn't a friendly hobbit saving one.

Trolkarl with Three-Quarters cover from the ballista. +5 to AC and DEX saving throws.

Gneuman to act
Gneuman attacks with the Vicious Spear. To hit = 18 and 24. One hit for 10 and 11 piercing damage. He then uses a ki point to disengage.
The ballista fires at Starker, to hit = 25 for 13 piercing damage. Starker collapses. Cyrus sits on him waving his arms and screeching.
Darkquin5 closes on Trolkarl, failing his WIS save to take 14 radiant damage.
Kragen to act
Oops, I didn't realize that you acted. I moved Gneuman, hopefully back to the correct location.
Kragen moves and casts [Healing Word[-spell] on Starker, healing 5 HP. Move is out of Bless range for. Adwick, he loses the benefit.
Two of the wood creatures close on Gneuman and Starker. They remain out of range of Trolkarl’s spell.
Starker stands and casts web.
Hoid to act.
Hoid attacks.
1st attack: 24 to hit, 14 damage
2nd attack (if necessary): 18 to hit, re-rolled damage (double 1’s) as 10.
If the tree is dead, will move into spirit guardian so Trolkarl has advantage on the wooden soldier. If tree is not dead, stay put.
Either way, second wind to heal for 10 (rolled 5, add 5).
Correction on Hoid’s move: I didn’t see Kragen’s move. Change potential move to be 25’ north (to the right of Trolkarl).
Two of the wood creatures run around Trolkarl’s spell towards the treant.
The treant lashes out at Hoid, to hit = 19 and 12, hitting once for 14 bludgeoning damage. It hurls another wicker bomb at Trolkarl, missing.
Another of the wood creatures comes running up the steps and joins the fight. This one looks to be larger and faster.
Chadwick to act.
Attacks are assumed with advantage.
Attack 1: To hit: 13, dam: 5 + 5 HM
Attack 2: To hit: 14, dam:11 + 2 HM
BA attack with other end of Lucien hammer. To hit: 21, dam 6 (rerolled 1) + 2 HM + 14 Divine smite (plus 1d8 if undead or fiend)
Chadwick will stay put unless the BBEG drops then he'll move towards the Darkquin 2&3
