Starker holds his quarterstaff such that the attached mindflayer’s skull forms an uncertainly effective umbrella. He moves off the tracks towards a near wall and then looks up.
Chadwick will move off to the side so his melon isn't as easy of a target for the melon sized rocks, but keep in light range of Staker so he can still see.
The deck above you has a 60' wide cross of open space running NS and EW. The bridges you saw there cross these open spaces. The edges of that deck align with the pillars. The underside of that deck is about 50' above you and the top of the wall running the perimeter is about 60' above you. All well within sight of your Darkvision. In fact, you can just see the underside of the topmost deck. The tracks run down the middle of the NS open space.
The Company has scattered. Chadwick is now 80' from Starker, leaving him in the dark. Kragen went the other direction and is now 200' away from Chadwick. The rest remain in the area of the mine cart tracks. A second volley of rocks rain down upon you. Hoid is stating his intention to move towards the elevator platform.
At Starker, To Hit = 24 for 16 bludgeoning damage.
At Trolkarl, To Hit = 22 for 15 bludgeoning damage.
At Gneuman, 17. The stone lands beside him as he dodges out of the way.
You see multiple creatures above you on the next level up looking over the edge and throwing stones at you.
Hoid moves to the platform. This is not a statement of intent. I have not moved the icon because we have no initiative or turns and thus I do not know how far Hoid can move.
I forgot that the squares aren't 5' anymore, my intent was to keep Starker in the light. Either way he'll encourage folks to get back far enough for cover and double time to the lift.
Can Chadwick see them from where he's at? If so he'll return fire with his bow. My intent is not to move back out in the open, but if he's not far back enough for cover he'll take his shot.
The Company hotfoots it back to the elevator lift. No more rocks rain down upon you, which is good. You do hear guttural voices calling out and echoing throughout the cavern. These sound as though they are coming from above you, which is not good.
Starker in Draconic:”Anyone want me to turn you invisible so you can go up there and kill those cowardly exploiters of local gradients in the potential energy field? Or I could turn myself invisible so as to stop being a target. Or and. Needn’t be or”
I think I would rather not be stationary while we wait for Gneuman or at least hold me shield above my head while folks decide on our next action.
Kragen follows Trolkarl's lead and moves his shield to protect his head.
"I think we should make haste for cover before more boulders rain from above."
Looks for a place of cover. Moves to a column side that remains under the upper level.

We are doing a lot of standing around despite the declared aversion to doing so. Hoid will head back to the elevator.
Can we see whether there is a place to drop rocks from directly above (like a railing) or if the rock was from a little to one side or the other?

Casting the light can trip on Staker’s staff.
“Form up at the lift platform!”
Begins moving back to the lift trying to use cover from the decks above if possible rather than straight down the path

(( Not really in initiative. The Company acts, then the mountain acts. ))

Chadwick cannot see beyond his light
Starker reaction Shield
Starker moves as far as he can into and through Chadwick’s circle of light. Trying to get in light leapfrog mode.
You may want to save the spell. It hits even with the Shield up
Gneuman will teleport at maximum distance towards Hoid, then move as far as possible the rest of the way.
(No shield, then)

Starker in Draconic:”Anyone want me to turn you invisible so you can go up there and kill those cowardly exploiters of local gradients in the potential energy field? Or I could turn myself invisible so as to stop being a target. Or and. Needn’t be or”
Responding in draconic, “Does a round of surprise for a subset of the party outweigh the opportunity cost of another spell?”
(Do the unfriendly sounds seem to be coming from the vicinity of the elevator apparatus or elsewhere?)
