Hoid has pocketed the diamond. There is more gold and silver than you can carry in the chests. All is quiet except for the slowly spreading pool of goo that was a mimic.
There are two open chests as well. One on each side of the room. All you see in them is gold and silver coins. No one has disturbed the coins in any of the three chests except Hoid picking up the diamond from on top of the coins.
I will fill my pack with 2 or 3 pounds of gold coins from the same chest that contained the diamond. Then head to one of the undisturbed chests for further investigation.
(( I am going to fast forward this due to the extraordinary paranoia being displayed. The remaining chests are just that, chests. Filled with gold and silver coins. ))
(( Disclaimer - This does not mean that paranoia will not serve you well in future encounters.....))
(( Put your tokens in position in the hallway south of the big circular room. ))
There is moisture in the air as you round the corner and approach a large chamber ahead. The hall widens to 10 feet as well. The room ahead is illuminated by multiple, softly glowing spots on the ceiling shedding a soft light. Across the circular room is another hallway like the one you are entering through. In the center of the room is a pool of water. The air smells clean, like a fresh stream. A circular landing sits in the center of the pool with two low, stone bridges connecting across the pool as walkways. Gold and silver coins are piled upon the landing, covering it completely.
Four statues sit equally spaced along the edge of the room. They are a large skull, an eagle appearing to land or grab something on the ground, an armored dwarf and a robed dwarf. All of the statues are facing the pool in the center of the room, are made of the same gray granite, and stand 5-6 feet tall. The pedestals they sit upon are a pink granite and there appears to be runes engraved on the face of the bases.
The room is carved from the rock with good workmanship. The ceiling domes up to a peak 20’ above the center of the pool.
If I ever had a doubt as to which of was my npcs made the greatest impression on you.
Woo!

I am of the opinion we should pick up what we can reasonably carry. We never know what might prevent us from coming back to get the loot.
Coins weight is 50 coins/pound.
Not to be greedy, but isn't there two more chests to check out?

I will investigate the coins in the chest that had the diamond and remove 200 gold coins. 4 lbs should be reasonable to carry.

You have the coins in your packs. Nothing else is found.
I'll take 400 gold coins for now. We can always circle back.
Now let's beat up some more chests.

I still don't believe it so I lick the remaining chests just to be sure.
They taste dusty, with a hint of citrus.
I’ll take 500 coins (10lbs) before we exit the room.
So, the following is loaded in your packs:
Hoid - Large diamond, 500gp
Gneuman - 150gp
Chadwick - 400gp
Kragen - 500gp
On to the room that is moist! I’ve got a baaaad feeling about this.
Put together a matching order.
How about someone with high AC and HP go first, and I’ll go second. There are at least two people with better AC than me.
