Seeing as how Krackle has the looting handled, Zeds looks about the room. (Though, truthfully, he also keeps an eye on Krackle to ensure he doesn't take it all for himself!). First off, Zeds is looking to see just how many entrances there are to this room and to try to get a glance of where they lead. They all need a rest. Desperately. But it is best to make sure they are unlikely to be stumbled upon first.
With that thought in mind, Zeds is also looking at the secret passage they came down to get to this room. He is looking to see if there is a way he can securely block others from using it as well. Preferable something quick and easy in case they need flee that way. Like perhaps would jamming a dagger in a crack ensure the secret panel isn't slid to the side to allow someone entry?
After assessing entry and exit points and trying to secure them, at least temporarily, then Zeds will consider the chest... If he feels they are safe enough here for a bit Zeds will carefully look over the chest and check for traps. (Perception? dirty 20)
OOC:... we have A LOT left to clear out! Not sure if we would be able to get a long rest in or not without being discovered.... I mean we kind of cleared out the barracks already so I honestly don't know how many more guards are in here.
I would say we scout out 10, a, and b... then work our way back around to 8-7-4-6-3... I assume the S is a secret area so unless we discover some secret door or tunnel along the way I am going to ignore it.
IC Zeds would suggest we drag the bodies back into the alcove with the secret passage we came through and rest back there hoping no patrols come by and spot us or anything. He'd also suggest that someone go back through the passage and make sure, as much as possible, it is under the rug or whatever it was under. I know at one point we had a rope tied off to the bunk beds, we don't want to leave clues like that... But we definitely need at least a breather to regain some strength. (In other words, a short rest to roll hit dice...)
OOC I think much the same about the bodies and the secret passage but if area 10 looks safe enough to clear out before a short rest then maybe that...
And was joking about the coin... I mean Zeds is kind of coin focused but I myself not really. :)
The chest is trapped and the area beneath the chest is also trapped. The dragon carving behind the chest has several holes in the dragon's mouth and Zeds realizes that the carving is part of the trap.
As he just fought Cyanwrath he also knows dragons have a fondness for breath attacks.
"So... We leave the chest alone for now," Zeds tells everyone once he realizes it is trapped. "Let's rest and heal up a bit first before trying anything dangerous..."
"I have a little magic left in me, but I think we may still need it before we get out of here.." Krackle would say to Stirling before coughing up a bit of blood.
Krackle would stand up slowly, staggering and struggling to get to his feet. "I can stand way back... and help from a safe distance" The kobold would say before coughing up a bit of blood.
"Well bully for you, my friend, but the rest of us have taken quite a beating. Died even, of come closer than we're comfortable with. I for one am taking a rest to bind my wounds, stop myself from bleeding out and maybe regain a little strength," Zeds answers calmly after dragging the bodies into one corner and then finding himself a sit-down against a wall to keep an eye out for any who may approach.
"And you, Krackle... There is no safe distance when you don't know where the enemy may come from. At least right here we'd hear them coming down the secret tunnel or see them heading towards us," Zeds argues quietly. "Unless you're going to crawl inside of Stirling and wear him as a suit of armor, exploring further is inviting a fight. Rest. Catch a breath. Then we'll do more..."
((I'm at 1/3 HP. Ironthar at 1/2. Krackle at 1/5... Zeds is all about short resting and rolling some Hit Die to recover.))
Since krackle is already standing he would hobble over towards one of the pillars and slouch down beside it. he would then come his eyesnwhile clutching his wounds... hoping tike will help him to heal.

Krackle would stack the 120 silver pieces into 4 stacks of 30... leaving them lay next to him as he lays back against the dead dragonborn.
Everyone is in 9
Zeds does not find a quick way to block the chute. Unless he can find something to block a 3ft wide opening.
Nearby you also see steps leading to 10 and winding steps leading to 8.

Alright so where do your rest and what do you do with the bodies. Zeds offered a suggestion but let me know what you actually do.
"I agree.... I could use a rest..." Krackle would reply as blood continued to trickle from his wounds.
OOC: I kind of think we at least poke our heads into rooms 10 A&B... Then at least we only need to watch one entrance while we rest.
(was going to heal krackel but I'll add that spell slot back if we are doing a short rest)
"A rest sounds great." Stirling says as he fuses over Krackel. "I'll need time to bandage these wounds your lucky to be alive."
(Ooc: Zebs plan sounds good. Not Man options)
"I have a little magic left in me, but I think we may still need it before we get out of here.." Krackle would say to Stirling before coughing up a bit of blood.
Stirling readies his dagger and shield casts resistance on himself looking at the others.
"I've yet to be injured and still have Lathander's protection. I'll check those rooms to see if our backs are secure. Who is up for it?"
Krackle would stand up slowly, staggering and struggling to get to his feet. "I can stand way back... and help from a safe distance" The kobold would say before coughing up a bit of blood.

Let me know if Sterling decides to check out 10 on his own. If Sterling stays, then everyone can start their short rest.
"ok let's rest up then"
Stirling will help bandage wounds
(After the last time he got sperated he is gun shy to go alone)
"Good, thanks," Zeds says, relieved.
Taking a short rest Zeds rolls his last two Hit Dice and heals 13 bringing himself almost up to full hp...
Since krackle is already standing he would hobble over towards one of the pillars and slouch down beside it. he would then come his eyesnwhile clutching his wounds... hoping tike will help him to heal.
